On June 21th 2002, "Anticipating" was released as the 5th single off her self-titled 3rd studio album Britney, alongside "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" (Metro Remix) & "Overprotected" (Darkchild Remix).

Unfortunately, there was no music video for the single.
It peaked at #38.

    They should’ve pushed for this single harder but I agree Lonely was the only logical choice at that point. I’m shocked every single time I remember it wasn’t a single :beynah_beyonce_talking_telling_preaching:

    Actually the official music video was the performance from the DWAD Tour that aired on HBO. I remember them using it as the video to promote the song back in the day
