Help! Questions about Seeing POM and GA!

B/C.) There's a bar outside the Axis that serves, when I went in 2014 I stood in line for about 5 hours. I made friends with the girls behind me and we took turns letting each other use the restrooms in the casino.  Each time we came back we would bring another round to each other.

was 5 hours really necessary? I kinda dont wanna stand there for that long.

If you're gonna go to the restroom, good luck getting your spot back lol. You can though, you can come in and out.

Again good luck getting your spot back. I would say around 4-5 is a good time to line up. People are there as early as noon-2pm though. I did go years ago though, now that the show has been going on for a while people probably aren't lining up as early. Who knows though.

The GA section is so close it's amazing. I went on July 13th. To answer your questions if you leave to go to the restroom or to get a drink you most likely won't get your spot back. And I was there at 4 and the doors opened at 730 and then waited until 915 ish.  So I was standing from 4 until about 1050 when the show ended practically 7 hours.

 

Mind you I did enjoy the GA Section because it's super close it's crazy but what I don't like is you can get there at 11am for example and wait hours but then you have ********** who get there last minute and try to get in front of you when you're walking to the stage and I literally walked faster to stay in front them so I think that's stupid.. if you've been waiting there for hours you should be in the front but that's clearly not a rule which is dumb as ****. :cigney:

Was the pit full when they let everyone in or did it fill up closer to showtime? Like how many people are really standing in the pit for 2 hours before it starts?

I think they let us in two hours before showtime (inside the doors, but not to the pit yet). Lines were definitely long by then.

You can go to the washroom but I wouldn't suggest it because it's hard to get your spot back depending on how busy it is. You can get drinks but again I would drink before the show while waiting in line. The bar outside the venue has some specials throughout the day and you can bring them out into the line. I went on April 20 and when I got to the venue around 1PM, there were already about 10 people in the line. Have fun! :)
