On December 18, 2020 - Britney released "Matches" as the 3rd and final single from Glory (2020). "Matches" was produced by Michael Wise and Ian Kirkpatrick and co-written by Asia Whiteacre and Justin Tranter and was recorded in 2017. The single was supposed to be on the Backstreet Boys' 2019 album, DNA, but didn’t appear on the album. It was later repurposed to be a collaboration between Britney and the boys. The song peaked at #11 on the US Digital Song Sales (Billboard) and in the top 10 in Canada and Malaysia.
