  1. Anitta picks “I'm A Slave 4 U” as the song she would duet with Britney.
  2. The hills star Heidi montag channels britney’s VMA slave performance in recent TikTok video with banana the snake 🐍
  3. Music director Simon Ellis reveals that when Britney was in London for the circus tour, Simon sat with her and played her the new renditions of the songs and she loved them all. Simon said the Do somethin mix was inspired by P!nk’s ‘get the party started’ which Britney said she love’s that song and wanted to hear it and eventually started to dance. Slave 4 U Is one of simon’s favourites and sampled a pink floyd song into the music break part where Britney was in the air above the fire pit. Simon said he couldn’t change Toxic because of how good it already is. Simon also reveals that ‘get naked’ is a masterpiece of a record.
  4. Britney’s sons are in the tiktok generation & it’ll be cool if they recreated their moms iconic choreography. Do we know if they dance at all? We know Jayden is a piano genius, it’ll also be amazing to see him do everytime & someday 🎹
  5. How do we think about these songs being acknowledged by britney in at this point an alternate reality where she makes a comeback in touring, would she still include them if it was her choice?
  6. Billboard released a new article discussing the success of the Britney album and the impact of Slave 4 U on Britney's career and pop culture. The article is part of Billboard's press releases to recap music from 20 years ago. I think this quote best describes the video: "Spears stares piercingly into the camera throughout much of the video, giving a look that would strike fear into the Parents Television Council -- and excitement into young boys and girls around the world." The article also reflects on the #FreeBritney movement, linking the Britney album to Britney's personal struggles: "Given what we know today about the pressure she faced, and what little jurisdiction she appears to have over her life and career, the power she wields in the singles, videos, and performances during her self-titled era hit even harder now than ever before." Very interesting read! Check it out here. On a second note, I really think that the Britney album should be re-evaluated by critics. They penned it at the time, but as of 2020, the album surely stands out as a pop masterpiece, with some of Britney's best released and unreleased tracks (justice for Cinderella). It still bothers me that the singles were not as missive on the charts in USA as they were outside, where nearly all singles were top 3 or top 5 in charts like France, UK, and Australia.. What do you guys think?
  7. I need this video please. I got to show it to friends. It’s from POM Tour at Tokyo Japan.
