Just like Britney did in the beginnig of her career Tate Mcrae performed this past weekend on the iconic German TV Show 'Wetten das...?' The singer is slowly but steadily building her name in the music industry. Her debut album 'I used to think I could fly' reached 600 million streams on Spotify this week and today she reached a milestone of 25 million monthly listeners. I think it's a shame she didn't get any nominations at the Grammy's because her debut album is really THAT good. But we know how the Grammy's work... The last song of the album 'i still say goodnight', co-written and produced by Finneas, Billie Eilish's brother, just deserved a Grammy alone. A perfect closing for a perfect album. -
Rising pop star Tate McRae performed for 2022 Capital FM's Summertime Ball and she slayyedddd! The vocals, the dancing, the energy and the CHARISMA shows why this girl is poised to become a huge star. Just look at the final 2 minutes of her performance and you'll know what I mean -
The Canadian didn't perform the Tiesto song but she blessed us with some amazing moves. That leg move on 2:09 was pretty impressive. Can't wait to see the music video for "Uh Oh" -

I understand why... Her family used her talent against her. So she grew to hate what she is talented for. She will take her time and maybe not perform again out of spite. I just hope she grows to love her talent again and gets to create art the way she wants. -

Today in our ongoing 'This Day In Pop' series is Britney's performance at the World Music Awards on May 5, 1999. Huge shout-out to @PokemonSpears for adding this flawless anniversary!
