  1. With the upcoming Christmas album by the Backstreet boys, they did shaded Nick Carter going Solo saying he wasn't the JT as he was marketed, people are now diving in, the fake,, manufactured feud between the boy band's.. In the 90s Facebook group's more people are excited about the Christmas album, saying at least our band is still together unlike the other's girl or boy band's. I'm definitely shocked one hit Wonder Hanson actually has Fans still most my age, but still shocked Enjoy honest talking about the most fake manufactured industry feud to date.
  2. I think their music sucks. I recently sat down and listened to them and aside from This I Promise You, It's Gonna Be Me, If I'm Not The One and somewhat Bye Bye Bye their music does nothing for me. Why were they so big? Why wasn't JC Chasez bigger? He sings way better than Justin
  3. We can even thank them for only fans, everybody is agreeing, cos this track came when the internet was seen as a luxury and not Mobile, so basically email was how all that dirty ish and cyber hook ups happened, now 22 years later. Digital get down is real and perhaps the most popular way to get down when we are 20,000 miles away from the lover..
  4. Album made by Lonely Productions! Here I present to you my fan made album "The Story of Kate" by JC Chasez! I hope you will have a nice listening experience. The album contains 12 tracks that are unreleased songs leaked by "The JC Chasez Archive" in full. This is the official tracklist of the album that can be found on Discogs. The album was supposed to be released in 2006/2007 but Jive Records signed JC Chasez off and the album was unreleased until now. Some of the tracks were even produced by his band mate Justin Timberlake. 5. On January 28, 2001, the Super Bowl XXXV halftime show took place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The show, dubbed as "The Kings of Rock and Pop" was produced by MTV and it was headlined by Aerosmith and NSYNC, with guest appearances by Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Nelly, Tremors and The Earthquake Horns. It was the first time in a Super Bowl halftime show that fans stood in the field around the stage. The show started with a sketch with Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Aerosmith and NSYNC, followed by this setlist: Bye Bye Bye (NSYNC) I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing (Aerosmith) It's Gonna Be Me (NSYNC and Tremors featuring The Earthquake Horns) Jaded (Aerosmith) Walk This Way ((Aerosmith, NSYNC, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Nelly)
  6. I already knew a little about his situation, but last night I found a really great documentary about JC Chasez and how Jive made it impossible for him to have a solo career. He had the looks, a 4 octave range voice and he was a great dancer and songwriter. If Justin had competition to launch his solo career, that was him. If you're curious about Britney's old and now dead label Jive and how 2001-2004 music scene was totally against him to become the pop star he deserved to be I'd recommend watching it because it's very well documented, you can hear testimonies from his collaborators of the time, active fans who went through it and even his bandmates from *NSYNC. Second part will be out probably this week!!! If you don't want to watch the 40 minutes I'll try to summarize the video in the spoiler alert behind. Britney bonus: Britney most likely knew about his situation and as the great person and long time friend she is (he was in the Mickey Mouse Club too), she gave him the opportunity to open for her on the Onyx Hotel Tour. He has spoken very highly of Brit over the years! Stream his debut album here!
  7. On November 17, 1998, Britney Spears joined the NSYNC in Concert tour as the opening act for their second leg. She participated in 38 concerts in total, along with pop bands Sweetbox and B*Witched from November through January 1999. In the summer of 1998 she had already embarked on her own promotional mall tour, the L'Oreal Hair Zone Tour. The setlist consisted of (You Drive Me) Crazy, Sometimes, Born to Make You Happy, Thinkin' About You and ...Baby One More Time.
  8. On October 30, 2001, a group of artists under the name of Artists Against AIDS Worldwide released a 9 mix CD, which included multiple cover versions of the Marvin Gaye song What's Going On. The intention behind this album was to benefit the AIDS programs in Africa and other regions, but after the 9/11 attacks, it was decided that half of the proceeds would go to the American Red Cross' fund as well. The artists that collaborated in this campaign were Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, Mary J. Blige, Bono, Destiny's Child, Jermaine Dupri, Fred Durst, Eve, Perry Farrell, Nelly Furtado, Nona Gaye, Darren Hayes, Ja Rule, Jagged Edge, Alicia Keys, Aaron Lewis, Lil' Kim, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Martin, Pat Monahan, Monica, Nas, Nelly, *NSync, P. Diddy, T Boz and Chili, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Michael Stipe, User and Scott Weiland. The single, produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bono, peaked at #27 on the BBH100 and it became a Top 10 hit in several other countries. The music video was directed by Jake Scott.

  10. Sorry, I had to!! For the uncultured (or the toddlers...):
  11. Netflix's popular show 'The Circle' Season 2 has just begun. On the show, contestants have to communicate through a social platform in order to be the most liked person and win $100,000. Lance Bass's long-time assistant Lisa went on the show and catfishes as Lance Bass. However, not every contestant knows who he is. 22-year-old contestant Chloe from another Netflix show, 'Too Hot to Handle', does not recognize the band name nor Bass. Bass tells EW he doesn't worry that Chloe is a representation that the younger generation has forgotten his early greatness. In fact, "it's the opposite," he explains, because he's thriving with over 3 million likes on his TikTok videos, which range from dance collabs to his head-bopping reaction to a "Montero" and "Bye Bye Bye" remix. "The Gen Z kids are really loving it," he says, brushing off Chloe's flub. "If no one knows the group NSYNC at that age, that's just bad parenting right there." Do you think it's because of bad parenting or because Lance Bass is not as popular among the younger generation?
  12. On November 30, 2000, the first of only two editions of the My VH1 Awards were held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Britney was nominated in three categories, but didn't win any of them: Best Stage Spectacle - beaten by Metallica with the San Francisco Symphony Booty Shake - beaten by Ricky Martin You Want Fries with That Album? (McDonald's) - beaten by Faith Hill (Pepsi) Performers of the night included Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi, The Corrs, Creed, Metallica, U2, No Doubt and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, which were deemed as "lukewarm" and the event really didn't get very popular, thus only one more edition would be held in 2001. Shoutout to this gem for getting a nomination though
  13. On November 14, 2000, Jive Records released the holiday album Platinum Christmas. It contained 16 songs by different artists such as Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, *NSync and Monica among others. The album peaked at #32 on the US Billboard 200. Britney's track, My Only Wish (This Year) opens the album and it has become the most popular song out of the record. It's been included in several Christmas albums over the years and in 2020 it was re-released as a vinyl and digital single with a new cover. On Spotify, is Britney's sixth most streamed song. The American tracklist of the album is: My Only Wish (This Year) - Britney Spears Grown-Up Christmas List - Monica This Christmas - Joe I Don't Wanna Spend One More Christmas Without You - *NSync Silent Night - Christina Aguilera Posada (Pilgrimage to Bethlehem) - Santana Little Drummer Boy - Jars of Clay Christmas Song - Dave Matthews Christmas Day - Dido Merry X-Mas Everybody - Steps Christmas Time - Backstreet Boys World Christmas - R. Kelly My Gift to You - Donell Jones Sleigh Ride - TLC The Christmas Song - Toni Braxton Who Would Imagine a King - Whitney Houston The international version replaces Donell Jones' song by S Club 7's Perfect Christmas and scrambles the order of t he songs a bit: My Only Wish (This Year) - Britney Spears Perfect Christmas - S Club 7 I Don't Wanna Spend One More Christmas Without You - *NSync Merry X-Mas Everybody - Steps Grown-Up Christmas List - Monica World Christmas - R. Kelly Silent Night - Christina Aguilera Posada (Pilgrimage to Bethlehem) - Santana Little Drummer Boy - Jars of Clay Christmas Song - Dave Matthews Christmas Day - Dido Christmas Time - Backstreet Boys This Christmas - Joe Sleigh Ride - TLC The Christmas Song - Toni Braxton Who Would Imagine a King - Whitney Houston Two follow up albums were released: Platinum Christmas II in 2004 and Platinum Christmas III in 2006, but we don't talk about them.
