Pink is taking legal action against Pharrell Williams over a trademark dispute. As reported by Billboard, Pink’s company, Lefty Paw Print, filed a lawsuit in federal court this past Thursday against Pharrell’s company, PW IP Holdings. The suit claims that Pharrell's attempt to trademark "P.Inc" could be easily confused with Pink's own business ventures. This lawsuit adds to a series of legal challenges Pharrell has faced recently, including a dispute with his longtime producing partner, Chad Hugo. Earlier this month, it emerged that Pharrell and Hugo, who collaborated as the music production duo the Neptunes, were at odds over the rights to their brand name. Hugo accused Pharrell of attempting to register the Neptunes name without his consent, allegedly violating their agreement to split all profits evenly. Thoughts?
