  1. She was HUGE in the 2000s era!!! Literally her 'Loose' album is so good. I love her other albums too. She makes the bops. She also is one of many artists who can pretty much do all genres. 'Promiscuous' has that classic Timbaland sound everyone loves. 'Say It Right' is a good ballad, 'Do It' is pop perfection. 'Big Hoops' was very artsy fartsy yet still essentially Nelly. 'Parking Lot' is just a really cool and fun vibe. 'Spirit Indestructible' is an underrated inspirational song. What's your favorite songs from her? Do YOU miss Nelly? Here's some of my favorites!
  2. Nelly posted this Insta story with Avril in Toronto. They both attended Gaga’s chromatica ball 👑👑
  3. Drake presented Nelly on his show, she was really nervous after so long of been out of the spotlight so she didn't sing any song but i really miss her, she has really good songs.
  5. On October 30, 2001, a group of artists under the name of Artists Against AIDS Worldwide released a 9 mix CD, which included multiple cover versions of the Marvin Gaye song What's Going On. The intention behind this album was to benefit the AIDS programs in Africa and other regions, but after the 9/11 attacks, it was decided that half of the proceeds would go to the American Red Cross' fund as well. The artists that collaborated in this campaign were Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, Mary J. Blige, Bono, Destiny's Child, Jermaine Dupri, Fred Durst, Eve, Perry Farrell, Nelly Furtado, Nona Gaye, Darren Hayes, Ja Rule, Jagged Edge, Alicia Keys, Aaron Lewis, Lil' Kim, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Martin, Pat Monahan, Monica, Nas, Nelly, *NSync, P. Diddy, T Boz and Chili, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Michael Stipe, User and Scott Weiland. The single, produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bono, peaked at #27 on the BBH100 and it became a Top 10 hit in several other countries. The music video was directed by Jake Scott.
  6. Nelly Furtado Reissued Loose for its 15th anniversary edition, part of a Huge Timbaland run pop for a few years, This album, Future***/Lovesounds and Hard Candy by Madonna. Would be part of a few years in which can be described as You cant go anywhere without hearing a Timbaland record on MTV or the radio. Even his own album Shock Value was part of his dominance on the Billboard hot 100, this was before the comeback of Max Martin who would be bigger than his first wave of success. If anything Nelly Furtado was the fortunate one despite a few hits especially her Grammy winner "I'm like a bird" she wasn't a household name, her 2003 follow up "Folklore" under performed but a song called Promiscuous and a more urban based pop production made her a huge star in this time frame.. Loose remains to this date her most successful era worldwide, her only album in the US to top the Billboard top 200 and house a few #1 singles, she would make a spanish album, but the proper English follow up 2012's The Spirit Indestructible actually debuted at a dismal #72, only for interscope records and Universal Music group to drop her. She's independent now.. But the loose expanded reissue features new songs not released during the recording sessions, rare Spanish cut of all good things (come to an end) and new remixes including a remix of all good things being pushed as the lead single of The expanded reissue..
  7. After celebrating the 20th anniversary of Woah, Nelly, Nelly Furtado reveals she is recording new music! "It was fun reminiscing last week on 20 years of Whoa. Thanks for celebrating with me," she said. "Hope you enjoy the listen . Now, back to the studio . Because life is a pop song- it makes so much sense, and none at all ! Love, Nelly xox" I wonder who she's working this time around. Exhale, what do you think Nelly's new music will sound like? And are you excited for it?! Related:
  8. Timbaland productions took Nelly Furtado's chart performance to new heights. An underappreciated unreleased song with Michelle Branch shows a glimpse of Timbaland's potential with her: Could Timbaland have achieved the same success with Michelle that he achieved with Nelly? What do you think of the Michelle collab?
  9. To celebrate 20 years in the industry, Nelly Furtado released a deluxe edition of "Woah, Nelly." Let's show Nelly some love, Exhale
