  1. While I'm patiently waiting for the new Billie eilish and Prince albums to drop next month. I've noticed unlike 2020, 2021 is a very dead year in Music. It seems no highly anticipated project is coming out probably until the fall. When they can tour next year. But I've been obsessed with the latest album from Garbage "No Gods, No masters" the title of the album is a very old punk slogan from the 70s, and according to Shirley Manson it's very fitting given the state of the world, this album was needed. Inspired by BLM, and ME Too, the American Scottish rock band takes on the serious subjects, even Shirley tackles one night stands in Anonymous ***, written in the form of the male perspective cos as she puts it's fascinating. Men can have casual hook ups and not catch feelings, while we as women are trained the exact opposite. For men s** can be done with no emotions, while women can't, that's how society raised us, and unless the parents today raise their girls differently and teach them it's okay to be ***ual with no feelings and emotions attached were just repeating everything our parents taught us. She also tackles in The Creeps and the men who rule everything, how at age 40 she was told she was too old to make Music and was dropped on her 40th birthday by interscope records, even though she signed a solo deal two weeks prior. She also touches on Godhead, that if she had a Male autonomy she would be treated differently and respected by the industry, but cos she's a women, and very opinionated she's basically labeled cold and a *****. Deluxe edition contains 8 more bonus tracks including a heavy metal cover of Patti Smith's because the night with a guitar solo from heaven.. Get to know the fiery red head from Edinburgh, Scotland.. From growing up middle class in according to both her and Craig Ferguson the poshest of the two big Scottish cities, and how her education was tailor made for creativity then learning math and general academics. In her first band by 15 years old, to where she denounced religion and spirituality saying, knowing the truth when I was younger to me Religion was BS, and after a while so was spirituality.. But she respects people if they are into beliefs that she isn't, they also touch how she flubbed the first audition to be the lead singer in Garbage, how after she got it, like most struggling artists at that time, she was to embarrased and full of pride to ask her bandmates for something to eat, or just help getting food, she also touches the more successful the band got. Instead of being happy to go platinum and hear herself on the radio, her self esteem and self doubt only intensified as the more successful she got, it was only during a lengthy hiatus which saw her acting as a Terminator in the Sarah connor chronicles based off the iconic film franchise and living a little did she appreciate her success and hard work, cos like she reminded people she was 29 when all that success happened, and she felt as the outsider, especially since her band mates worked with the likes Of nirvana, the iconic Nevermind was produced by Bandleader Butch Vig, so she always felt like she was never good given the crenditals of her other band mates especially given how they worked on iconic pieces of music history. @Jordan Miller
