Haaiiiiiii dearest Exhalers! Hope you’ve been surviving and thriving in the absence of a SlayOut hit thread! I know I am! I thought it’d be fun to play a little game, inspired by the cultural touchstone that is RuPaul’s Drag Race. The idea of the game is simple: list 4 albums that you could lip sync for your life to from start to finish. The rules: Choose 4 albums you could lip sync every song from. You must not repeat artists (aka you can’t select all Britney albums). You must have albums from artists of a different gender (aka 3 women and 1 man or 2 men, a woman, and non-binary person, etc.) The albums cannot be EPs, remix albums, compilations, or single albums. LPs and deluxe LPs ONLY. Bonus points will be rewarded for a mix of genres and time periods. My 4 albums are as follows: Blackout (Bonus Track Edition) by the Legendary Miss Britney Spears Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves My Everything by Ariana Grande Blue Neighborhood by Troye Sivan Let’s see what you got, Exhale! I expect pure slayage and a diverse selection of music. Anything less will have you chopped from the competition! Exhalers, start your engines, and may the best member… win!

So my friends sent me this TikTok video, which is ah-mazing: Cersei Lannister v/s Daenerys Targaryen in a lip-sync for their life on Stronger by Kelly Clarkson.. I think that Cersei totally slayed that with her green explosion But if you had a chance to put two celebrities or fictional characters to battle in front of Rupaul, who would it be and on what song?

Can we talk about this performance? I have always loved this tour and always will. Personally if there was a chance to go back in time and witness something I’d choose this tour to see and experience. But something has always bugged me about this performance... although I was okay with that. Until one day I took the audio channel and pitched it up, which actually resulted the album version, and the same vocals. This somewhat ruins the experience for me as I didn’t and don’t really understand that even if it was a lipsync why did they have to low pitch the album version vocals make us think she just choosed to sing it differently.. especially that her record label has been always pushing for the pitched vocals. So what are your thoughts on it?
