  1. SHE’s tipped for chart success in her own right after Little Mix went on a hiatus. But Leigh-Anne Pinnock's record label has been left scrambling after an early cut of a solo track leaked online. Bosses at Warner Music have launched a major investigation after I Need You started circulating on social media. Links to it were yesterday being pulled as quickly as possible and replaced with the message: “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.” A source said: “This track is an extremely early demo. “Bosses acted quickly and are determined to get to the bottom of how it appeared online because only a handful of people had heard it. “They are taking it extremely seriously. Leigh-Anne is working hard to give fans the music they deserve.” The singer last month jetted to Jamaica to record for her debut album, and top execs from her label went too. I told how she had hit the studio with top songwriter Tayla Parx, who was behind Little Mix’s No1 single Sweet Melody. Now I can reveal the mum-of-two plans to follow in Cheryl's footsteps by ditching her last name for her solo career. The singer registered Leigh-Anne.com this month and the website is now under construction. Her bandmate Jade Thirlwall is also on the cusp of debuting her own tunes. Jax Jones previously said how they have recorded a monster song together which he thinks is destined to be a hit. But don’t expect the girls to lock horns in a chart battle. Their bandmate Perrie Edwards told The Sun in May: “We’ve all said we will let each other know when we’re going to release so we don’t end up clashing. We’re rooting for each other, not competing against each other.” Source: The Sun I heard the snippet online and it sounded like a BOPPP - all traces of it have been removed online.
  2. Little Mix's Leigh-Anne was in the studio working on her solo music in Jamaica working with Tayla Parx, Danja and Dyo. Tayla Parx was working with Leigh-Anne's former friend/bandmate Jesy Nelson last week. Jesy has also been working on her solo music with Tayla Parx and Dyo and has been spotted in the studio with them multiple times over the past few months.
  3. Oh wow - congratulations to Leigh-Anne on securing a solo record deal with Warner Records! It looks like all four Little Mix girls are releasing solo music with Jade and Perrie also in the studio - we are yet to have confirmation as to which record label they are signed with. Former bandmate Jesy is signed with Polydor and UMG.
  4. LITTLE Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock is heartbroken after thieves swiped her £40,000 engagement ring from her mansion. The bejewelled gold band, was a gift from footballer fiancé Andre Gray, 29. Police are probing the theft at the couple’s £4.5million Surrey home. A pal of pregnant Leigh-Anne, 29, said: “She is distraught.” The hugely sentimental sparkler went missing from the Little Mix star’s bedroom while she was moving house. The bespoke emerald and diamond-encrusted gold band was given to her by fiancé Andre Gray when he proposed last year. Described as Leigh-Anne’s most treasured possession, the ring was deliberately shut in the master bedroom, on top of a safe. But after a removal team finished in other rooms, Leigh-Anne was unable to find the ring. It is not clear if the thief was known to the couple, or an opportunist intruder. A close pal said: “Leigh-Anne is distraught. It was her engagement ring that was stolen which, obviously, had huge sentimental value. "She accidentally left it out and when she came back, it was gone. It’s hugely upsetting anyone can behave in this manner. “Leigh-Anne and Andre are doing all they can to get to the bottom of it, and get their ring back. It’s not about the money — it’s the principle.” Earlier this month Leigh-Anne was seen wearing the ring as she fronted BBC documentary, Leigh-Anne: Race, Pop and Power. During the show she talked of her experience of racism as the only black member of Little Mix. She also showed off the ring, estimated by experts to be worth £40,000, on social media after Andre proposed last May. Pregnant Leigh-Anne and the Watford striker, both 29, are moving to a more family-friendly home closer to his training base. A source said of the theft: “Leigh-Anne was going mad. She was so upset and furious that someone would do that as well. She doesn’t need the stress. “The ring is a symbol of their love, so she was super careful about what she did with it during the move. Leigh-Anne and Andre both feel gutted, properly betrayed, of course you would.” Surrey Police said: “Officers were called on May 13 after reports of a theft where an engagement ring was taken. 5. Leigh-Anne's documentary has aired and it has received critical acclaim, at the end of the documentary she announced that she has launched a charity 'The Black Fund'. Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock has embarked on a very personal journey for her new BBC documentary, Leigh-Anne: Race, Pop and Power. During the one-hour film, Pinnock will open up about her own experience as a mixed race woman in the music industry, where she often felt like she was being treated differently to her bandmates, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirwall and Jesy Nelson – who has now left the group – due to the colour of her skin. She’ll also speak to other Black or mixed women in the industry, including former Sugababes member Keisha Buchanan, Alexandra Burke and British singer-songwriter Raye. The documentary also features her bandmate Jade Thirlwall. While the documentary delves deep into issues surrounding racism, Leigh-Anne says there’s still more to be done, and she won’t “stop” until she sees significant change. Speaking to press including RadioTimes.com, she explained: “I feel like we’re on our way and there are initiatives that Sony have started, so I hope to see a change, because it’s not fair and it’s not the way it should be, and I’m not going to sit down and not say anything like I did for so many years – that was my normal, and it’s not normal. Something has to change with it so I’m going to keep going until I see that change.” While Leigh-Anne feels that improvements are definitely being made when it comes to racial equality, she wants to encourage what she defines as “active change.” She added: ” I want to see more diversity. And I want to actually see people actively making a change and not just talking about it.” Leigh-Anne rose to fame in 2011 when she became one quarter of Little Mix on The X Factor, which the group went on to win. Since then, the girls have gone onto become one of the most successful girl groups, touring internationally and releasing several UK number one singles. Speaking of how the other girls reacted to her upcoming documentary, the singer – who is expecting her first child with her fiancé, footballer Andre Gray – said: “They have been super supportive. I’ve been really lucky to have them especially Jade. I think throughout my journey, having someone to talk to and actually understand how I’ve I’ve been feeling is so important. I don’t really know what I would have done without the girls to be honest.” She added: “I remember our trip to Brazil. For the first time in my career, I saw a Black audience. I loved that I was getting that and I felt like I belonged and it was just mind blowing to me. I’ve never ever experienced anything like that in my Little Mix journey, so I remember coming off stage and just sitting down with Jade and I was hysterical and like, ‘Why, why only now am I feeling this love after 10 years?’. It’s just crazy.” Leigh-Anne: Race, Pop & Power will stream via BBC Three from 6am on Thursday, 13th May and will also air on BBC One at 10pm on the same day.
