  1. On May 1st, 1999, Britney Spears performed at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. A year later, on May 1st, 2000, she was performing on Japanese TV show POP Jam.
  2. On April 12, 2003, Britney Spears attended the 16th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. They took place in the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in California. Britney was nominated for Favorite Female Singer, but Ashanti took the award. She also introduced the award for Favorite Male Movie Star along with Will Ferrell. 15 years later, on April 12, 2018, Britney was honored with the Vanguard Award at the 29th Annual GLAAD Media Awards held in Los Angeles. Ricky Martin presented it to her, giving an introductory speech about her influence in the LGBT community.
