  1. Jennifer Lopez reveals she's never had botox. Queen of natural aging! “I haven’t ever had Botox to this day,” she said via Page Six. “I’m not that person. I don’t have anything against people doing that; it’s just not my thing. I’m more about a natural approach to skincare … but I want [my products] to work. I want the hyaluronic acid in there. I want the things that are going to help, because I don’t want to have to go to the needles at some point. I’m not saying one day I won’t, but I haven’t yet.” She also shared a story about this dude who wanted her to get botox. “I was in my 20s and I was dating this guy,” she said. “He went to one dermatologist and I went to another dermatologist. Basically, my dermatologist gave me a great cleanser and some sunscreen and said, ‘If you do this from now on, your skin is healthy, you’re young right now, it’s going to be great.'” Her ex’s doctor had a different opinion. “She said, ‘Did you know you have a little line right here? We should start Botox.’ I mean, I had to be 23 years old, right? And I was like, ‘I’m going to pass,'” Lopez shared. “I didn’t like needles anyway, but the boyfriend’s like, ‘Yeah, you should start it. I do that.’ I was like, ‘No, thank you.’ And I just wonder what would’ve happened to me if I would’ve started Botox at 23, what I would look like right now. My face would be a totally different face today.” Queen of never aging and not getting botox. Exhale, do any of you get botox?

The new album is on its way and Lopez has a pair of films coming out next year—Shotgun Wedding and The Mother. “Such was the mood that surrounded the writing and recording of her forthcoming album, which will be her first in nearly a decade. I’m not allowed to reveal the title, but suffice it to say that it serves as a kind of bookend to This Is Me…Then, the album she released 20 years ago in the heady early days of her relationship with Affleck.” ”IT is this album that pulls Lopez’s enthusiasm at the moment. She says that it will be the most honest work she has ever done, “kind of a culmination of who I am as a person and an artist. People think they know things about what happened to me along the way, the men I was with—but they really have no idea, and a lot of times they get it so wrong. There’s a part of me that was hiding a side of myself from everyone. And I feel like I’m at a place in my life, finally, where I have something to say about it.” She lends me her AirPods so that I can listen to a few rough cuts from the record. There are plaintive, confessional songs, reflections on the trials of her past, upbeat jams celebrating love and s**. As I’m listening, I notice that she has closed her eyes, and she is dancing in her chair and singing along to her own voice. For a moment it occurs to me that she might be treating me to a little performance, but no, she is just so into it.”
  3. Both are very talented singers but there can only be one unfortunately Jessica: Jennifer: Let me know your answer in the comments

  5. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck get married again in lavish Georgia... PAGESIX.COM J.Lo and Affleck got engaged for the second time in April with the "Argo" actor presenting Lopez with an 8.5-carat... Happy for her!
  6. In, 2002 Jennifer Lopez was at the height of her pop star career, couldn't do wrong, so to keep public interest strong, epic records decided to do a remix album J to tha L-o: the remixes, it's in the world records as the first remix album to top the Billboard 200, commercially successful in the US, it's the best selling remix album to date with over 2 million copies sold, globally its the 4th best seller after the remix albums By Michael Jackson, Madonna and Linkin park, respectively. The reason for the massive success in the us was the ain't it funny remix by ****** inc, unfortunately Billboard now created a rule as this was the second time a "remix" was more popular than the original version which was like the dance pop with euro elements of I'm real, bigger overseas.. However Billboard called out all parties about the ****** remixes, of both I'm real and ain't ut funny dubbing them technically new songs that outside the title, lyrically has no relationship to the pop tracks, and epic was forced to add ****** remix to charts, despite having the original lyrics, I'm gonna be alright had new jlo vocals for the trackmasters remix, while maintaining the original backgrounds vocals chorus (a popular trend in R&B goes way back to Mariah Carey to have the background singers sing the chorus while the main star of the track does adlibs, to enhances the recording.) First pressings had 50 cent, but since he was just starting and irv gotti hated him (beef that lasts forever), Tommy added NAS to maje sure commercial success was guaranteed in terms of sales.. This was gonna start a feud and see a friendship between NAS and 50 cent fade off, who 50 considered family, but the industry does this tricks, abd subsequent pressings removed 50 cent, and kept it a solo version. To get the NAS version you have to buy the rare compact disc maxi single or if you live outside the US, you can stream it as the NAS version is an international bonus track on "This is Me...Then". It's not accessible in the states, and neither is the maxi single which has club remixes by HQ2 (Hex hector and Mac Quayle) and club mixes of Alive by Chris Cox and Barry Harris aka Thunderpuss in both club and Tribe-A-Pella, enjoy the rare version that's hard to get outside the first pressings of the remix album..
  7. According to TMZ, the couple got married on Saturday (July 16) in Clark County, NV. The couple, known as "Bennifer", was first engaged in 2002, but called the engagement off in 2004. They reunited about a year ago, and got engaged earlier this year. Congratulations!! Wish them happily ever after!!
  8. In Jennifer Lopez’s Netflix documentary she revealed that she was unhappy to share the Super Bowl stage with Shakira. During a tense scene Jennifer and music director Kim Burse discuss how to map out her performance and share the stage with Shakira. "We have to have our singing moments," she insists. "It's not going to be a dance ****ing revue. We have to sing our message." She then goes off on the NFL, saying, "This is the worst idea in the world to have two people do the Super Bowl. It was the worst idea in the world." In another scene, Shakira expresses concern to Jennifer about the timing, noting that the NFL organizers want their respective songs to be "weaved" into the performance. To this, Jennifer says they will divide their 12 minutes equally, but adds, "If it was going to be a double-headliner, they should have given us 20 minutes. That's what they should've ****ing done."
  9. I'm not a big fan of hers, but damn, she's a good performer...sometimes I feel like she's so underrated!
  10. Jennifer Lopez confirmed her engagement to Ben Affleck on her website in a video, where she cried and looked at her engagement ring. Congratulations to them!!!! Hopefully this time they will get married.
  11. Could this be JLO’s next big hit?! I actually hate most of JLO’s music, but in an odd twist, I LOOOOVE her movies. So she has a new movie with Maluma coming out this week and a soundtrack came out last week. The title song is absolute perfection. Pop, hints of Latin, and it has Maluma (singing in ENGLISH! I didn’t even know he sang in English! 🥵). But maybe I’m the only one who likes the song, but I love it…and could even see Britney singing it. (Side note: could you imagine a marry me type of song from Britney?! OMG.)
  12. On February 21, 2000, the "TRL Class of 99" photoshoot directed by David LaChapelle took place in Los Angeles, featuring several of the TRL usuals that were nominated for the Grammy's that year, such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, NSYNC, Jennifer Lopez, Destiny's Child, Fred Durst, Lenny Kravitz and more, as well as a group of models in golden bodypaint and TV heads. A photo of the group was turned into a poster and sold through mtv.com for charity.

  15. On October 30, 2001, a group of artists under the name of Artists Against AIDS Worldwide released a 9 mix CD, which included multiple cover versions of the Marvin Gaye song What's Going On. The intention behind this album was to benefit the AIDS programs in Africa and other regions, but after the 9/11 attacks, it was decided that half of the proceeds would go to the American Red Cross' fund as well. The artists that collaborated in this campaign were Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, Mary J. Blige, Bono, Destiny's Child, Jermaine Dupri, Fred Durst, Eve, Perry Farrell, Nelly Furtado, Nona Gaye, Darren Hayes, Ja Rule, Jagged Edge, Alicia Keys, Aaron Lewis, Lil' Kim, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Martin, Pat Monahan, Monica, Nas, Nelly, *NSync, P. Diddy, T Boz and Chili, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Michael Stipe, User and Scott Weiland. The single, produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bono, peaked at #27 on the BBH100 and it became a Top 10 hit in several other countries. The music video was directed by Jake Scott.
  16. Years ago, I heard an incredible mashup between Jennifer Lopez’s Dance Again and Madonna’s Celebration! I loved it so much, I downloaded it and saved it in my laptop. Many moves, hard drives, and new laptop later (I had a old HP Pavilion g6 from 2011 in Apple Red and I now have a MacBook Pro (insert Britney raving about an iPad here)) and the file is gone! I tried looking it up on YouTube, Google. I think the remixer was DJ Craig Vanity? Any help would be appreciated or if they can find it! I’ll love you forever!
  17. Most of us probably know the story of Loverboy and I'm Real by now. Mariah planned on sampling a song called Firecracker for Loverboy, but J.Lo's I'm Real came out first and also used the Firecracker sample. This led Mariah to change the sample, which she discusses in her memoir. Mariah has said that the mastermind behind this was Tommy Mottola, her ex who was the head of J.Lo's label. Mariah feels he was trying to sabotage her. A lot of people wonder if J.Lo knew about the sabotage and was a willing participant. She often gets trashed by people (including lambs) who target her when it hasn't been proven if she knew what was going on. Well, I was on YouTube and came across this video. It's a track-by-track commentary on the J.Lo album, where she goes into the process behind each song. She mentions some interesting things. For example, she says that Tommy and Cory Rooney mostly looked over song submissions before presenting them to Lopez. She also says the track for I'm Real was brought to her by Troy Oliver and Cory Rooney. At one point in the video, she refers to Cory as "the Tommy soldier of it all." (This is also interesting, because Cory spoke out against Mariah when her memoir came out last year.) Jennifer says she wrote the lyrics and the melody for I'm Real, but the track itself was already there. My guess is that the track she was presented already had the Firecracker sample included. Check it out. I encourage you to watch the whole thing (especially her commentary on Play), but I'm Real talk starts at 1:50: It really looks like Jennifer was an innocent party in all of this. It seems like Tommy and Cory were in cahoots behind the scenes unbenounced to her. I think her commentary on Play is even more telling. I really think people should think twice before trowing shade and hate at Jennifer. It just doesn't seem fair. IDK, what do you guys think?
