Lali talks Britney Spears' Blackout. She tells Rolling Stone: "The first time we spoke I said: 'Let's make an album like Blackout and she replied: 'Faaa, I love it! I always thought about that,'" says De Tommaso about perhaps the only direct reference they put at work. But Spears' most influential album in 2007, a masterpiece he made while his life was at a peak of conflict, was not a guide to how this new Lali material should sound. “ Blackout as an example of sound change. What we are doing is not that it sounds like that album, what we do represents a transition," Galán explains. "Blackout is more personal than Britney Jean, the album that Britney promotes as the most personal. This album by Lali is an expression of freedom after having gone through other albums in which she followed more instructions." According to Metro, Beyoncé brainstormed these artists when developing the sound of her seventh studio album ‘RENAISSANCE’, their sources quote: ‘She loves the fact that so many Black writers and DJs are thriving in the dance scene over there and was paying attention to songs by people like MistaJam, David Asante, MNEK, Kamille and early Azealia Banks when brainstorming.’ https://metro.co.uk/2022/06/21/beyonces-music-videos-to-honour-90s-supermodels-after-break-my-soul-16868479/amp/

Does anyone have a tattoo that that is inspired by your favorite musician or actor/actress? My tattoo was inspired by Britney (part of it is in the thumbnail for this topic). I chose the quote 'They Can Never Take Away Your Truth' with an equality sign on my arm. I did this because I personally am the only 'out' person in my family. I received, and still receive, so much criticism for being who I am, especially since I am a parent. For years, my family has attempted to tell me who I am, and not accepted that I am who I am. So Britney's quote spoke highly to me ever since I heard it for the first time as a child. (Not to mention, she has been my inspiration since the age of 9, when I first heard Stronger). I am curious to see if anyone else have any tattoos inspired by their favs :

Billie Piper was an british pop star who released her UK number one hits "Because We Want" To and "Girlfriend" along with her debut album "Honey To The B" in 1998. We often credit Britney for doing teenage bubblegum pop first, but Billie actually came out before Britney, her 2 singles were released before BOM (song) and her debut album came out just days after BOM (song) was released. Billies style is really similiar to Britneys too and she performs as a dancer more than as a singer. Could Jive records have been inspired by her success in the UK and Europe, since Billie was not very successfull in the US, there was empty spot for Britney. Billie Piper quit pop music in 2001, her true passion was acting and she didn't really enjoy that life style of a pop star. Later she has appeared in Doctor Who as Rose and other movies and stuff. What do you think? Is Billie Piper the original teenage pop artist
