  1. Book publisher Ballast Books is releasing an unfinished book titled, Aaron Carter: An Incomplete Story Of An Incomplete Life, which had been in the works for three years. The book is set to be released November 15th. This just 10 days after the passing of the 34 years old singer. Hilary Duff was not happy and had this to say. "It's really sad that within a week of Aaron's death there's a publisher that seems to be recklessly pushing a book out to capitalize on this tragedy without taking the appropriate time or care to fact check the validity of his work. To water down Aaron's life story to what seems to be unverified click-bait for profit is disgusting, In no way do I condone shedding any light on what is so obviously an uninformed, heartless, money grab." Does she make a valid point or will you pick up the book anyway? Hilary also paid tribute to Aaron on her Insatgram.
  2. Hilary Duff or Lindsay Lohan? I think they both had really great music. Who would I rather have a new album from.... I would say Hilary Duff honestly. I love Lindsay Lohan's movie comeback era tbh. That's my opinion! Discuss...
  3. Hilary is featured on the new issue of Grazzia Magazine and confirms she’s working on new music “I am currently writing new music and go to the recording studio, I don't know if it will be an album or a song, but the idea really excites me!“
  4. Hilary Duff bares it on the latest issue 🤩
  5. Come through queen Exhale, are you here for new Hilary bops?!
  6. Well this is a shocker (Disclaimer, yt recommended this video while I was streaming MGK's MVs, of all people, it's not that I went looking around for it) It was destiny @ 4:00
  7. We all know A Cinderella Story, Hilary Duff's ICONIC 2004 movie. I recently rewatched it and it's still as good and funny as I remembered. No matter how many times I've seen it before, I love it every time I do. The reason I wanted to make this thread is because I feel like it's kinda underrated and most people prefer those versions with Drew Barrymore and Lily James, and while those were good too, I don't enjoy them as much as this one. It's definitely my favorite Cinderella movie of them all. I love Hil, obviously, but I also love Regina King and Chad Michael Murray in this movie and especially Jennifer Coolidge, I always find myself quoting her lines, she was absolutely hilarious. And... the soundtrack slaps too. Now You Know is one of my all-time favorite Hilary Duff songs, should've been bigger. Jesse McCartney, Goo Goo Dolls, and the rest of featured artists had great songs in there. It's one of my favorite soundtracks ever. What about y'all? Are you as fond of this movie as I am?
  8. I'm obsessed with Hilary Duff and her new show How I Met Your Father. It's fresh, funny and what TV and streaming needs right now. Hilary plays 30 year old Sophie who is navigating life in her early 30s in NYC with her posse of new friends. It's really lighthearted and there is a LOT of Pop references in the show (Britney, Xtina, Aaliyah, Avril Lavigne) Hilary was just a special guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show The Kelly Clarkson Show and it was such a super cute interview. They talk motherhood and Hilary's new Hulu hit Show being renewed for season two ahead of the first season being fully released. Have you watched HIMYF? Thoughts? @Jordan Miller
  9. Mandy and Hilary on the show praising each other AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  10. You thirsty twinks better be supporting! “I’m not working on music right now but I have been talking to my husband [fellow artist Matthew Koma] about getting into the studio and starting to stretch the muscles a little bit,” she revealed. “I really want to, but I need time to figure out what I’m saying, what kind of record I’m making, and who it’s for. But, yes, I want to.” She continued, “You know how annoying it is to go to a concert, and they don’t play the hits? I want to serve people what they want, but I also want it to be authentic to who I am now, and that’s very complicated.” She also talked about "Sparks." “I can’t get away from [“Sparks”] because someone exposed my three-year-old to it,” she told the publication. “We get in the car, and I have to listen to my own music because my daughter’s screaming, ‘I want ‘parks, I want ‘parks.’ I’m rolling up to her preschool, and every time I turn it way down she’s like, ‘Why do you turn it off? Why you turn it off?’ Like, girl. I’m not rolling up to your preschool blasting my own s—. So embarrassing.”
  11. Disney icon, actress, singer and author, Hilary Duff expresses her gratitude to her LGBTQ+ community supporters in the new interview with GAY TIMES, where she promotes her latest Hulu hit show, "How I Met Your Father". 13. Picture this - it's the year 2015, and you're a late 90s / early 00s baby. Out of nowhere, Miss Hilary Duff, the myth, the legend herself, is set to release her comeback single Sparks, penned by the ingenious Swedish pop starlet Tove Lo. In fact, Hilary had already attempted to make her big comeback a year earlier with a pair of singles titled Chasing the Sun and All About You. However, after her brief stint as a watered-down impersonation of Colbie Caillat proved to be unsuccessful, Hilary and her team went back to the drawing board, scrapping her upcoming folk-pop album in the process. And thus, Sparks was born: Sparks, a glitzy synth-pop gem, was an instant dance-floor classic upon release, featuring glimmering synths and an infectious whistled breakdown that hypnotized its listeners into submission and pure pop bliss. Unfortunately, barring the addictive confection of the track itself, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows for the ex-Disney icon and her plan for pop domination. The music video was instantly met with backlash by fans and casual viewers alike, and rightfully so. The pastel discotheque of the video was interlaced with clips of Hilary going on various Tinder dates that assaulted its viewers in 10 or so second intervals. Needless to say, something needed to be done, and something she did. A month after the music video's release, Hilary came out with a new one - this time around, a so-called "fan-demanded" version. This would go on to set a precedent for the pop music industry at large, including her contemporaries and successors, such as pop icons Britney Spears and Taylor Swift. Releasing content "by demand" became the norm, and while the critically-acclaimed anthem itself failed to produce any meaningful sparks on the charts, it ushered in a new norm that proved to be beneficial for both artists and fans alike. Industry politics aside, the fan-demanded version of Sparks stripped the video of its capitalist debauchery, putting the original vision of a bubblegum dream set to the tune of synth-driven magic on full display: World peace had now been achieved, and fans could finally appreciate the blood, sweat, and tears that had been poured into this piece of fine at. Lizzie clearly got the assignment - she had studied the Blueprint of Pop Music (© 1998 Britney Spears) and it showed. While her successors were releasing "their most personal works yet" and pretending to be authentic songwriters by changing two lines in songs written by teams of 30 other people, Hilary was having none of it. She booked performance after performance on daytime show after daytime show, serving choreography and live vocals and showing the younger generation what they'd been missing out on at the hands of their indolent and ungrateful favorites: And so, after having been given one last chance to redeem themselves and having failed to do so, pop music fans brought it upon themselves, and pop music was never the same again. The end.
  14. I think its important that we all realize what an unbothered professional queen Hilary is I live for this energy I swear to God Stan queen Hilary Duff for clear skin
  15. Record labels for decades, pitted artists against each other, and fanbase's were left to decide who they wanted to rep. So my question is concerning 2020's- we have teen queens but no rivalries in the same way have in the past. Are the record label's educed comparisons over, or are teen artists for the time being, just not prevalent? Or are there other reason this generation doesn't have a two girl rivalry? 1980's Debbie Gibson and Tiffany 1990's Brandy and Monica Early 2000's Britney & Christina Aguilera Mid to late 2000's Hilary and Lindsay Lohan 2010's Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus 2020's ...Who? Billie Eilish versus Olivia Rodrigo? Billie and Oliva do not talk crap on eachother and the media doesnt pit them against eachother even tho they both do alternative/rock/pop music and are 18 and 19. They are the biggest teen singers right now but the media hasn't pitted them against eachother like they have with other young female singers before. So do you think the media are done making rivalries? Can and SHOULD women that may appear to be in the same lane, be able to be just as successful as their "rival"?
