  1. On July 27, 2000, Clairol announced a campaign with Britney Spears to promote the Herbal Essences shampoo line in printed magazines and television spots. Britney also recorded a jingle titled I've Got the Urge to Herbal that was played on radio spots as well as in a video presentation during her Oops!... I Did It Again Tour. A special promo CD was also released, which featured Britney's Deep in My Heart, as well as other songs by Aaron Carter, Don Philip and Bowling for Soup. The sampler also contained Interview Snippets with Britney. Some TV spots were also released during the Britney era featuring clips from the movie Crossroads and Overprotected.
