On August 17, 2004, Britney Spears released (I've Just Begun) Having My Fun as a digital download prior to the release of the Greatest Hits: My Prerogative compilation album. It peaked at #7 on the iTunes chart due to the high demand, while it was speculated to be a new song to be included on Greatest Hits: My Prerogative, leading it to peak at #23 on the Billboard's US Hot Digital Tracks chart. The truth is it was recorded for the In the Zone album released the year before, co-written by Britney, Michelle Bell, Christian Karlsson, Pontus Winnberg, Henrik Jonback, and was produced by Bloodshy & Avant. It was originally included as a bonus track on the European version of In the Zone DVD and in the US it was a free download included in the Wal-Mart edition of In the Zone due to a deal with Sony Connect. The exclusive deal ended in mid 2004, and that's when Jive decided to release it on iTunes and Rhapsody (now known as Napster). In 2011 it was featured on the soundtrack of the movie Bridesmaids. As a fun fact, there's been a bit of confusion about the correct way of writing the title of the song, since within official releases the parentheses have been used in two different ways: I've Just Begun (Having My Fun) (I've Just Begun) Having My Fun The former was used in the physical release of In the Zone DVD as well as the Greatest Hits: My Prerogative CD: while the latter is the way it appears on the digital release and streaming platforms:
