  1. I’ve just seen this article and I don’t understand... Her last album was great, but being nominated that many times?!? And Oh, surprise!!! She achieved a milestone of being nominated the most for Grammy, tied with her husband Jay-Z! What a coincidence… it just made me realize that Grammy Awards are really just a way for artists to be promoted and to achieve arranged milestones. There were so many great albums in the last year, I just think that no album is that "great" to be in the top of every category it fits in, no matter who it is! Let others shine! I prefer the Awards where the public votes… (Sorry for the bad English, I speak French) Beyonce Ties All-Time Grammy Nominations Record WWW.BILLBOARD.COM Beyonce eyes the most Grammy wins of all time with 2023 nominations. 4. GRAMMY Rewind: Britney Spears Has An Epic Full-Circle Moment With Her First GRAMMY Performance In 2000 Back in 2000, Britney Spears was riding high on the global success of her hit breakout album, ...Baby One More Time. She was a first-time nominee at the GRAMMY Awards that year, receiving nods in the Best New Female Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance categories, the latter for "...Baby One More Time." That 2000 GRAMMYs also marked Spears' first GRAMMY performance, which remains an unforgettable piece of GRAMMYs history today. In this episode of GRAMMY Rewind, turn back the clock to that epic, dazzling performance, which established Spears' prowess as one of the early 2000s' most imaginative, energetic entertainers. The four-and-a-half-minute number opened with a flashback scene, putting a spotlight on young Spears as she watched the GRAMMY Awards from a couch at home. "Tina Turner and Janet Jackson," an announcer on the TV listed, name-checking two of young Spears' musical idols. "Wow!" the young girl thought in a voiceover clip. "Someday I'm gonna be there, just wait and see." Sure enough, that clip fades into a dream sequence, and Spears kicks off her performance — beginning what was seemingly a full-circle moment for the star. As the singer stands amid a small group of backup dancers dressed as flowers, she belts out her heartbreak ballad, "From the Bottom of My Broken Heart," in stunning fashion. As things begin to pick up with some booming thunderstorm visuals, Spears — who changed from a pastel tutu to a skin-tight glittery red bodysuit — is then joined by a phalanx of robot backup dancers. She launches into "...Baby One More Time" with an acrobatic dance routine, dazzling the crowd with epic production, dance moves and vocal theatrics. 🔴Source: GRAMMY 🔴Video: Grammy awards
  5. Britney’s ‘team’ tell TMZ that the tiny dancer remix ‘Hold Me Closer’ could be up for a Grammy nomination based on Britney’s vocal performance which is described as the best she’s ever sounded. We will definitely have to wait and hear on Aug 19 👀
  6. So i've been recently listening again to Britney's discography after ages and i've come to the conclusion that "3" is, and always have been, the perfect pop track that really deserved more high recognitions, such as a Grammy, for the following reasons: - The entire song screams 'Britney Spears' all over it, edgy lyrics, fierce attitude and makes you feel like the $€xiest person alive. - Max Martin proved once again that his production remains unmatched and when working with Britney, magic always happens! - It's one of the few Britney's songs to have a proper solid bridge, one of the best bridges of her entire catalogue, if you ask me...still getting goosebumps from it after all this years! If Britney will ever make music again i just hope Max reaches out to her...Glory was really cool and a lot of fun () but we need the "Britney Banger" once again! Thoughts?
  7. The 2022 Grammy Awards are this month and it's always exciting to predict and see who takes the trophies. However, the Scammys (as we also know them as) have made some decisions have made us raise our eyebrows more than a couple of times, including snubbing the one and only Princess of Pop in repeated ocasions. She's only won 1 award out of 8 nominations. So I've decided to make a list of all the nominations and wins she should have received throughout her career. The wins are stated in parentheses. 2000 - Best New Artist (WIN), Best Female Pop Vocal Performance "BOMT", Record Of The Year "BOMT". 2001 - Best Pop Vocal Album "OIDIA" (WIN), Best Female Pop Vocal Performance "OIDIA" 2003 - Best Pop Vocal Album "Britney", Best Female Pop Vocal Perfomance "Overprotected" 2005 - Best Pop Vocal Album "ITZ", Best Dance Recording "Toxic" (WIN), Best Music Video "Toxic" (WIN), Record Of The Year "Toxic" 2009 - Best Dance/Electronic Album "Blackout" (WIN), Album Of The Year "Blackout" 2010 - Best Pop Vocal Album "Circus", Best Dance Recording "Womanizer" 2017 - Best Pop Vocal Album "Glory" So in total she would have 5 wins out of 16 nominations. What do y'all think? Does she deserve more Grammys? What categories do you think she should have been nominated in and won?
