I'm fairly new to actually making topics, replies and posts here so bear with me. I just want to see other people's takes on it. But I feel like this is pretty overlooked, so I decided to make it a topic. Anyone else notice the obsession Eminem had with Britney, especially in the early 2000s? It was lowkey creepy. I'm bringing this up right now because I recently found some old archived videos from 1999 in which he describes wanting to see her naked, wanting to be her underwear and thinking she's a cute girl. She was 17 at the time and he was 26. here is the interview In 2000, he shows off a notebook with her face on it, has a freestyle in which he describes touching himself to her Just Rhyming With Proof (starts at 6:07) and that interview where he criticizes her outfit at the 2000 VMAs. Ironically, a month after that interview he admitted in a magazine that he had a crush on her. In 2001, he makes a whole verse about wanting to do *it* with Britney. Mind you, she was only 19 and he was pushing 30. He also says in a 2001 interview that he apparently tongue-kissed her. He mentions in his infamous song Same Song and Dance during 2009 that he had a crush on her since she debuted as well. And we can't forget the songs in which he constantly either name-dropped, insulted or ***ualized Britney. I didn't even mention all of what he said about her either. His fans constantly sweep all of this under the rug or try to excuse it when it's brung up. I lowkey wanted a thread to be made about it on Twitter, but his stans would probably drag Britney and the entire Barmy there tbh. And I'm aware that Britney likes him, but that doesn't mean he's free from opinions or criticism. What do y'all think? Cuz I personally find it gross, and it's weird how he got away with it just because it's his "persona" to be like that, but it doesn't excuse his perverted/weird or creepy comments about her.

Last night in Los Angeles, the Creative Emmy Awards were held, the first of two nights and Eminem won for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) for his participation at the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show. Now, he only needs one more award, a Tony to become part of a select group of EGOT winners. He won an Academy Award in 2003 in the Best Original Song category for "Lose Yourself" from the film 8 Mile. Between 2000 and 2019, he won 15 Grammys, now he has yet to receive a Tony which honors the best in the Broadway theatre.

Remember the Britney/Eminem single rumor for his upcoming album? He's in the studio working on his next album which sources said will have a similar vibe as Revival. I think Britney and Eminem would absolutely slay the charts. Why not have three Britney hits! HMC, Em Collab and B's first single!!! Let's give her ALL the success and flowers she deserves without Team Con accessing it! 😝 Are you down for a B x Em collab? I think a dark, vibey urban track dissing her family would be a serve 💅???

Mariah Carey made "Obsessed" for a reason. Eminem can't seem to get her name out of his mouth. Sort of. He dissed her again on his new album, which he just released without warning. In new song “These Demons”, he raps: "I’ve got a question – what rhymes with pariah?" Then Em continues: And I OOP! She really did a number on him. So I recently came across a video from Mojo.com called Greatest Defining Acts of the 00s, and here is the ranking Eminem Radiohead Beyonce Jay-Z Coldplay Britney Spears Linkin Park Lady Gaga Green Day Justin Timberlake I was really suprised, with the list. Britney was below the top 5? Also didnt mojo have a video called best female artist of the 00s where the ranked Britney above Beyonce? So does that mean Bey should be at #6 and Britney at #3. Top 3 is such a reach for Beyonce. Quite dissapointed with the flop list. What do you guys think? I think Britney deserved top 3, i meant she was the best-selling female artist of the 00s selling 83 million records WW, had the greatest hit of the 00s, had the most iconic performance of the 00s, was the most searched celebrity from 2000-2008, had the highest grossing tour of 2009, achieved a Lifetime award, had 2 diamond albums before reaching 20 and being the best-selling act of the year 2000. Whats not there to put her in top 3? SMH? People even want to take away the acheivement of her even owning a decade

Update: It's not happening Earlier: Eminem's marketing team hinted at some kind of collaboration with Rihanna. They posted a photo edit on Instagram of the two superstars' logos combined together. Back in April, the CEO of Def Jam, Paul Rosenberg, asked this 228K followers if they'd want a new Rihanna and Em collab. Very sus. I'll personally believe it when I see it because Queen Rih wants nothing to do with the music industry, but if this is indeed happening I'm here for it. They make music magic together. However, Em is still trash for this leaked lyric on an unreleased version of B.o.B.'s 2011 track "Things Get Worse." "Of course I side with Chris Brown, I'd beat a b---- down too."
