Okay so funny story behind this edit, I wanted to recreate one of the confessional Blackout shots so I browsed around the internet looking for a random priest and then suddenly came across this image of the model John Coulter in costume cosplaying as a priest on eBay, I looked twice and realised it's the same model Britney had for the shoot. As for Britney, I used a 2003 outtake of her in prayer pose. It came out kinda cool. This quick prequel app edit of the photo she reposted recently turned out pretty but ask yourselves this. If Britney did a photoshoot like this by Steven Klein and styled by a glam squad would she still receive the same demonising responses from the world and what she calls “MURICA” because we know how she feels about America like we all do. Now if she did pose for PLAYBOY or whatever publication, You can imagine the responses still being “she should know better and she’s a mom to young sons” but at the end of the day she’s proving a point to team con that she’s in control of her body and what she does with it. The ableism towards this woman for what she posts and it not being “professional or flattering” enough is a disgrace in 2022 especially for all women. Hilary duff and adult stars are praised for baring all on women’s health magazine and onlyfans for big coins but it’s a another rule and a “mental crisis” when Britney does it on the gram for free.
