  1. I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and I love it. Even though my apartment complex is not that well maintained and has no elevator, my studio is comfy and I have everything I need. The public transportation is fantastic, since I can't drive. The buses run every 10-15 minutes, and they have their own dedicated lanes and highways. I attend the University of Pittsburgh, and I love my classes there so far It snowed for the first time this winter today, and although I hate snow and the cold, it's better here than where I moved from - Syracuse, New York. I'm heading back there on Friday to see my family for Thanksgiving break. Do you like where you live?
  2. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Kacey Musgraves. She's extremely talented, funny, very relatable, and during the pandemic I enjoyed her Golden Hour album just like Folklore. I think she is following into Taylor Swift's career path in the sense that they started off country, but are now delving into pop and becoming hardcore fashion icons. I was really anticipating the star-crossed album release, and it's actually very good but it has a lot of filler songs. The standouts are there, but only to mention a few: star-crossed, good wife, simple times, justified, breadwinner. I like when artists release their discography paired with a visual film, but this one really falls short. I think the concept was there, but it was just not executed properly. The best songs are edited out or choppy during the scenes, and the film as a whole doesn't make sense, it's not cohesive. What do you think, did the film do the album justice? How would you rate this era of music? I must say her album release, box set and promo pictures are impeccable.
  3. Shania released a special remastered “Diamond Edition” of her breakthrough album “The Woman in Me” today. The album spawned a whopping 7 singles including the timeless toe-tappers “Any Man of Man, “You Win My Love,” “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?” and “(If You're Not in It for Love) I'm Outta Here!” kickstarting her popularity and paving the way for her eventual country-pop crossover and global domination just a few years later. In this new edition, the classic album has been expertly remastered and expanded to include single versions, remixes, live versions and isolated vocal versions of the tracks we all know so well. She’s been re-uploading the music videos from the album recently which have been all been expertly remastered to HD quality and look stunning. Watch the playlist below... “The Woman in Me, Super Deluxe Diamond Edition” available to buy in various formats and stream from today! Shania also recently teamed up with Orville Peck for his latest album, check out my thread about that below...
  4. Shania Twain teamed up with Orville Peck on "Legends Never Die" from the masked singer's latest EP "Show Pony." “I cannot thank Shania enough for being part of this; she has always been a hero of mine and her music made me feel so empowered growing up,” commented Peck in a statement. “As cliché as it sounds, recording with her and getting to get up on stage and sing with her in Nashville is a dream come true. No words really.” Shania looks incredible in the music video, dressed from the neck down in leopard print, reminiscent of her look in 1998's "That Don't Impress Me Much," as the duo perform to an enthusiastic drive-in crowd. Watch the clip below. What do y'all think? Related:
  5. As far as I can see, Exhale is filled with users from all over the world, which is so beautiful - I live for a multicultural platform. So in that spirit, I would love to hear some of the best artists (according to you) from your own country, singing in your native language You can share more than one song if you wish. I'll start, here are two of my fave artists from Serbia: And since I'm motivated by @Roxxy , I could create a Spotify playlist of all the songs we've shared here so we can all bop
