  1. Interesting interview with Simon Smith who co-wrote 'Private Show'. He says his songwriting career stalled after collaborating with Britney and that he had to quit the music industry and find a "normal job" to sustain himself. Article was published March 1 but haven't seen shared on here, so sorry if AP. Songwriter for Britney Spears explains why he gave it up for a 'normal job' after spending all his money WWW.UNILAD.COM Simon Smith reveals there's a certain 'juxtaposition' when trying to make it as a musician.
  2. Taylor Swift's new album "The Tortured Poets Department" drops at midnight. I'm ready to cry.
  3. With Britney's Spotify streams massively increasing in 2024, Baby One More Time is breaking its own records. The song is getting over 800k streams a day on Spotify, and over 400k views a day on You Tube As of April 6th, Baby One More Time, the album, has +1,195 billion streams on Spotify. The video will hit 1 billion views this year. When the song hits 800 million, Britney will have 2 songs over 800 million (Toxic and BOMT). This year, Oops I Did It Again and Scream & Shout will also join that same club (guaranteed) As the streams for the song are bigger and bigger every day, I've decided to make a thread earlier because it might happen the song gets 1 million streams a day and that leaves us at a month max. till the milestone Watch the video: Will be added to:
  4. Time has come for another Britney milestone. This time, it's Britney- the album. As it has been gaining around 250-300k streams per day, it's getting closer to 500 million streams on Spotify. This milestone will give Britney 7/9 albums with at least over 500 million streams (Britney Jean and Glory are the only albums excluded) I'm A Slave 4 U remains the most streamed track. As of April 2024, Overprotected (the album version) is yet to hit 100 million mark. The least streamed song is the bonus track- Before The Goodbye. A mini-milestone that should be accomplished this month will be Cinderella hitting 10 million streams. That milestone will give this album 7/15 songs over at least 10 million streams. When the album hit 500 million streams, it will be added to very unreliable but still widely used- Chartmasters-basic tool bar. STREAM THE ALBUM: Will be added to:
  5. I mean she SNATCHED: Uptown, downtown, everywhere I turn around Hollywood, London, snap-snap is the sound Paparazzi shot me, I am the economy Follow me, follow me, follow me, follow, follow me did she fu**ing lieeee?!! Don’t get me wrong the song is still trash But yes slay that verze Brinny
  6. Britney has reportedly enlisted songwriter Diane Warren to pen her a new ballad. Warren wrote Britney's song "When Your Eyes Say It," as well as songs for Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Céline Dion, Cher, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera and many more. An insider tells The Sun, “for Britney someone like Diane writing songs for the next stage of her career is amazing. They’ve worked together previously but during her pop era." They add: “Now it’s time for Britney to enter a new musical era. Diane loves Britney and they have been pictured together at events previously. Britney also saw that Diane has always been positive and supportive of her.” Earlier this year, The Sun claimed Charli XCX and Julia Michaels had been asked to write songs for Britney, a claim she adamantly denied: “Just so we’re clear most of the news is trash !!!” she posted on Instagram. “They keep saying I’m turning to random people to do a new album … I will never return to the music industry !!!” The Sun have previously reported that she was working on new music which Britney then quickly debunked and said she would never return to the industry, so take this with a HUGE pinch of salt. But just thought I would post it on here... Some of Diane's previous work
  7. Toxic Pony is galloping to 100 million milestone. When it hits it, it will become Britney's 24th song with over 100 million streams on Spotify. It gets from 50-70k streams a day. (For some reason kworb shows the wrong numbers for the song) As of February 6th, it has 95.5 million streams. Because Britney's streams have generally increased, this one should happen soon. 8. Years ago, I set out on the impossible task to document every single song ever pitched for a Britney project. Ever since then, hundreds upon hundreds of tracks have been uncovered, so I figured it would be easier to just list out all known recorded songs which aren't available for public consumption I've divided them into two categories: "confirmed" and "unconfirmed" Your opinion regarding the status of these songs may differ from mine but I tried my best to not only contextualize every bit of information but also be realistic (No. Britney has never recorded "over a hundred songs" for an album) Please let me know if I missed any obvious ones Confirmed: Unconfirmed:

  12. So first we have Janet's 'Nasty' released in april, 15 in 1986 - so it's 38 years old TODAY - with her breathy vocals and snaky attitude. Her legacy has TOTALLY influenced Britney's music. This song heavily screams the get nasty vocals of Britney's 'Boys', for instance: When making her third self-titled album in 2001, Britney Spears recorded 'I'm a slave 4 u' that was written by The Neptunes for Janet Jackson but ended up being Britney's. The Janet attitude is still there along with Britney's signature vocals, though. Here we have another Janet-esque Britney's song, her GET NASTY: In 2016, Tinashe collaborated on a song with Britney. And recently she released her song also called 'Nasty' with chorus I've been a nasty, girl. NASTY! with a more modern/contemporary/trap sound to it. What do you think?
  13. Does anyone else love this line in “Kiss You All Over”? I love the way she sings it, so **** and seductive. Anyone else a huge fan of this bop? So sad we never got an HQ version. This would have easily fit on “Blackout”. If there’s a rarities release, this needs to be on it.
