The charts are here and Taylor debuts at #1 on both the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts. This is the third time she tops both charts after Folklore/Cardigan and Evermore/Willow. "Red" opens with 613,000 units, making it the second biggest opening in 2021 after Drake , while "All To Well' becomes the longest song to reach the top of the chart. Twenty-six songs from Red will also chart on the Hot 100, breaking the previous record set by Drake for most Hot 100 entries in one week. Taylor also dominates the charts in UK, Australia, and Ireland. Adele is expected to dominate the charts next week with her new album 30. Here is the "All Too Well" video for everyone to enjoy: And "I Bet You Think About Me":

Since the song debuted at No.2 on the chart, it has stayed within the Top 10 (No.6 this week) and spent 3 non-consecutive weeks at No.2. The song has held on incredibly strong on both sales and streaming platforms. Before her performance of the song at the Grammys this week, the song showed promising signs of challenging the No.1 position next week. The No.1 position just seems even more likely after the performance. "Up" will be Cardi's 2nd solo Hot 100 No.1 hit and 5th overall if it reaches No. 1.

I.LOVE.THIS. She's always been awful with radio---Excuse me, RADIO has always been awful to Britney, so her performance on the Hot 100 is not as astounding as one would expect from a LIVING LEGEND YOU CAN LOOK BUT DON'T TOUCH, but maybe that's exactly why I'm so amazed at her star power and longevity. Check it out! I think it's fun to watch (and listen to) heh: (video from August 25th, 2020) Oh and that YT channel has many more videos like this, with the chart history of Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and Dua Lipa.
