  3. On November 18, 2016, Britney Spears released the Slumber Party video featuring Tinashe, two days after the new version of the track was released on digital platforms. The music video was directed by Colin Tilley, a relatively new director that had already worked with people like Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj. The video was shot in October, and both Britney and Tinashe posted about it on social media. Various pictures from on set were shared, revealing the collaboration which wasn't originally on the album's tracklist. In an interview for Extra with Mario Lopez, she talked about the video saying: "[...] we just did the video and it's kinda like a younger "Eyes Wide Shut" theme. So it's kind of a little risky, it's very ****, it's very moody, and it's, um, fun! It's fun, yeah." When asked about Tinashe on an interview for MTV, Britney said: “Tinashe is so sweet. I just always see my fans talking about her online, and it just made so much sense to collaborate on this song. She was amazing, and would love to find another way to work together in the future!” On this videoshoot was where Britney Spears met actor Sam Asghari, who played the love interest in the video, and who would later become her boyfriend (and now husband). According to Sam, he didn't have to audition, instead, he got hand-picked by Britney after someone that was working on the production who was close to him, sent his pictures to the casting director. He had already appeared on Fifth Harmony's Work from Home video earlier that year. The music video premiered on her YouTube channel. Originally, fans were happy because the video used a different track than that from the digital platforms. The version of the video didn't have Britney's high pitched vocals at the end of the song. However, the audio was later replaced to match the one from iTunes, Spotify, etc. but the original version can still be found in some websites. The music video was well received by fans and critics alike, comparing it to her 2002 Boys video. For a while it was trending on YouTube, even above Shakira's Chantaje which premiered the same day, but eventually lost momentum. It wasn't until May 2022, that the video finally reached 100M views. Slumber Party is Britney's last video to be released under her conservatorship, and to this day, is her latest overall (without counting Hold Me Closer videos where she doesn't appear); ever since its premiere, this has been the longest period of time without a new Britney video in her entire career (6 years and counting). Previously the longest gap between videos had been Someday (I Will Understand) - Gimme More, but Slumber Party already surpassed that record in 2019 .
  4. The twitter user t4leaks911 that surfaced snippets of ‘dem chicks be like’ and ‘I can bang’ confirms that Exaholic exists as a finished song. Any fans here want it?

  6. The year is 1999 - Britney Spears is rereleasing her epic debut album "...Baby One More Time" and it will include 5 additional tracks. The new single to promote the rerelease is "Mood Ring". The music video is produced by Nigel **** and will feature Jonathan Taylor Thomas as Britney's love interest.
  7. So the "FIRE unreleased BRITNEY SMASH" that Sam Bruno asked us to ask Britney to release is apparently called "Dem Chicks Be Like". Sam confirmed she was recording music with Britney in 2015. https://gagadaily.com/forums/topic/153689-photosbritney-spears-recording-new-music-with-singersongwriter-sam-bruno/ Apparently the title was confirmed by her on Facebook in 2O18. https://twitter.com/TemptationBrit/status/952471453387186176/photo/1 Should we bombard Britney and Sam Bruno on Instagram with the hashtag #demchicksbelike ??
  8. Private Show is one of my faves from Glory Yesterday I made a thread saying Touch of My Hand is overrated (which ofc no one agreed with me) And someone told me to stream Private Show and Chillin With You since that's my taste in my music No one likes Chillin With You but Private Show is like 100x better and it doesn't deserve to be put with Chillin With You Why do so many people hate this song?
  9. A few years back there was someone in here that had pitched down Glory. Could someone send me a link to that version again? I just remember liking it very much. I remembered it when I read through the thread about private show I'm just really curious to listen to private show pitched down ever since that
  10. Obviously Glory is in the top 3 of best Britney albums… and I’ve always loved it. But I use to listen to in the zone and blackout way more. But lately I’ve literally become obsessed with Glory, I can’t stop listening to it. It think it’s actually my fave Britney album now. And knowing everything she went through, and how this album was a shinning light in her darkest times. I have such a deeper appreciation for it and I get emotional listening to it. Anyone else feel the same way?
  11. i choose Coupure Électrique its a nice song i should listen more nowadays
  12. On August 26, 2016, Britney Spears released her ninth studio album Glory. The recording process started since 2014 and it took about two and a half years to complete. She recorded around 30 - 40 songs, according to some interviews she gave. Six months into the recording process, Britney felt dissatisfied with the results, so Karen Kwak was brought onto the record to work as the executive producer. She picked the producers and writers inspired by the sounds of her previous albums, such as Blackout and In the Zone. Karen said: " Pretty Girls wasn't original. Britney wanted to do things that were fresh and unexpected this time. There was never a moment where she was given a song, and anybody said, 'This is a hit. You have to sing it'. Britney pursued the songs she wanted to do for herself. She came up with concepts and melodies. It's her baby. It's like being an athlete. If you're doing it that much, you're getting yourself into shape. She was always ready to work during the album sessions, and it was very important to her to be done by a certain time so she could pick up her boys from school." The producers that worked on the album were BloodPop, Burns, Cashmere Cat, DJ Mustard, Jason Evigan, Oak Felder, Andrew Goldstein, Oscar Görres, Ian Kirkpatrick, Mattman & Robin, Nick Monson, Alex Nice, Robopop, Lance Eric Shipp, Twice as Nice, and Tramaine Winfrey with songwriting credits by Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, Nick Monson, among others including Britney herself. Originally it included 18 tracks on the deluxe version, with the 18th track, Mood Ring, being released exclusively in Japan. The official singles off the album were Make Me... and Slumber Party. Before the release of the record, three promotional singles were revealed: Pretty Girls, Clumsy and Do You Wanna Come Over? In 2020, Mood Ring was released as a promotional single as well, after it was made available worldwide. The album was sold in some Mexico City stores ahead of the scheduled date, on August 20, leaking into the internet that very same day. Nonetheless, the album debuted at #3 on the US BBH100 after it managed to move 111K equivalent units during its first week. However, to this day it's the only album of hers that hasn't reached the gold status for sales in the US. In 2017, an exclusive version of the album was released in Japan and other countries to promote her Asian tour Britney: Live in Concert. It contained two discs, one with the 18 Glory tracks, and the second one with the studio version of the songs from the setlist of the show, with the exception of Me Against the Music which appears as the Dragon Man Mix. And in 2020, after Glory hit the #1 spot on the iTunes Pop Chart, Britney released a new cover for the album, which was made available on all digital platforms. Later on that same year, a final reissue of Glory was released on vinyl and digitally, with a new cover and including all the tracks plus two previously unreleased songs: Swimming in the Stars and Matches (with the Backstreet Boys). Additionally, it included some Mood Ring remixes. You can stream the full album below or on Spotify here
  13. On August 5, 2016, Britney Spears released the Make Me... music video featuring G-Eazy. After two months since we knew that she had started shooting a music video for the lead single off Glory, and after some clips had started leaking, we were finally able to enjoy the video, except that, well, it turned out to be something completely different than the David LaChapelle-directed music video that we were expecting to see. This new video was shot on July 16 and it was directed by Randee St. Nicholas. In late July, Britney talked about it: "The video that I just shot is me and all my girls. We're making guys audition for us. The whole theme is us basically playing with them. It's really kind of fun and it's interesting". At the moment we weren't sure if they had re-shot the video altogether or if it was just a new part of the plot we hadn't heard before. In all fairness, @Blackout ***** tried to warn us In September, Larry Rudolph explained the situation in an interview for Los Angeles Times: Exactly the explanation the Britney Army wanted to hear The video got a different version released in September through the mobile app Britney Spears: American Dream. A rough cut from the original LaChapelle video leaked in 2019. What is your favorite part of the video? What are your memories from when it premiered?
  14. Sharing more of my Digital artwork. Which one do you prefer?
  15. Glory Outtake ‘DYFO’ Solo vocal mix has surfaced by BritneyOnline 😛 https://britney-online.net/stream-downloaddance-your-****-off-sessions-solo-mix/
  16. Julia responded to a fan posting this photo of them in the studio together in 2015.
  17. Wow! It’s been revealed that the third rerelease edition of glory has a new cover of a nude Britney in Maui 🏝it will also have two new songs and one of them features Vicky T, her friend and assistant, and she’s also shooting the music video for it with her iPhone, what a bonus! 🤩
  18. It was alleged by a YouTube channel that “Famous” was a demo for Glory but turned out to be a duet song by Scott Horton and Wesley Smith Jr. but After revisiting it multiple times it would actually fit with the deluxe tracks, it’s kinda good even though the raps sound like something G Eazy would come up with. Who recalls any more that were fake but were good or bad?
  19. Britney has lowkey announced that she's staying clear of the industry, is done touring and doesn't wanna be "britney spears" again. Personally I'm content with it, I have favourites from it. In terms of Britney herself, she EP'd it with Karen her A&R and she's proud of it. If Britney Jean was her last it would be very unfortunate that her last album is sung by someone else and that she generally wanted everyone to forget about it. Comment below your thoughts on Glory being her last ever record Alright here's my image I created used in the thumbnail (by demand) https://imgur.com/j8e2qkc
