  1. Nobody did a thread about this album so let me do it real quick Agnes, the Release Me chanteuse, has been putting out pop perfection for a while, but last Friday she released Magic Still Exists, her first album since her 2012 album Veritas. If you like dance music, great vocals and overall fun, upbeat and great pop music check it out! Or else you're missing out. For those who don't remember who this Swedish queen is, watch this live rendition of her biggest hit.
  2. English singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor released today the official music video for Crying At the Discotheque, a single taken from her upcoming Songs from the Kitchen Disco greatest hits album, which is coming out in November. In the video we see her performing the song, originally sung by Swedish band Alcazar, in multiple empty venues, including the O2 Arena, in a very ad-hoc theme with the COVID-19 pandemic we've been experiencing this year. From the video description she tells us: Related:
  3. Kylie Minogue's new single is titled "Magic" and is out now. It's another disco-tinged banger. I love her vocals on it! The world needs these sugary sweet pop gems. There's also a sparkly video out as well. Disco coming to snatch all the Grammys. Thoughts on the new tune, Exhale?! Do you believe in Magic? Related:
  4. I didn't think there were a lot of Kylie Minogue fans (Lovers) on Exhale so I didn't realize this topic would get that much traction. But the Australian pop princess is confirmed to be working on her 15th album. By a hashtag made by one of the producers it is seeming she is returning to disco pop. Kylie says she's working on the new tunes whilst in quarantine. "I certainly didn't see that country element coming, but I loved every second of it," Kylie previously said of singing country on her last album. "I got to spend two weeks in Nashville. I barely did sightseeing, shopping, anything. I ate, slept, wrote. It was all about music. Some of the lessons I learned there, whether by being actively engaged and trying to learn more about songwriting. Or just by osmosis... there's something about Nashville that seeps into you." Kylie continued: "I've already started work in the studio. There's that... we're not quite sure what it is yet, but we feel like 'that's good, that's good, this is the direction we're heading'. It's probably too early to say what it is, but I'm very excited. I won't be doing [country] again, but what I learned in that period will stay with me however songwriting pans out in the future." She's also working with producer Mousse T. (of “I’m So *****” fame) and Italian hitmaker Alex Gaudino (the man behind “Destination Calabria”). I am very excited for this. Any fellow Lovers here want to discuss?
