  1. Update: It's out! Earlier: Blackpink’s Lisa is ready to make her debut. On Wednesday, Lalisa Manobal, or known simply as Lisa professionally, announced on Instagram that her highly anticipated first solo album will be released on Sept. 10. The album will be called “Lalisa.” The post comes three days after the singer teased that her album will be coming soon on Instagram. Manobal is most famous for being a member of popular South Korean girl group Blackpink, which also consists of Ji-soo Kim, Roseanne Park and Jennie Kim, known simply as Jisoo, Rosé and Jennie to their legion of Blackpink fans called “Blinks.” It’s called Lalisa and it’s dropping very soon Lisa’s self-titled debut album, Lalisa, named after her real name, is being released September 10, 2021 at 1 p.m. KST or midnight ET. What we know- Lisa filmed 2 MVS HOWEVER It's not clear is the second one for her confirmed collab with DJ Snakes project https://www.nylon.com/entertainment/blackpink-lisa-solo-album https://wwd.com/fashion-news/fashion-scoops/blackpink-lisa-announce-solo-debut-album-release-date-1234903712/
  2. Their debut album 'The Album' came out last October, and managed to debut at No. 2 on both UK Albums Chart and Billboard 200. Their sales and achievement of each release have been on an ascending trend. Who is ready to show this group of amazing girls some love?
  3. Update- leaked in full but its not on yt
  4. Word on the street says Taylor Swift and BLACKPINK are collaborating together. The rumor started on Twitter, so take this with a grain of salt. Exhale, you down for this? Think it could actually happen?! Tweets: ATRL
  5. The Internet is fired up about the news that Blackpink's Jennie and Big Bang’s G-Dragon are dating and have been for the last year. YG Entertainment is refusing to comment, but they're aware of the news and its impact. Related:
  6. I’m absolutely in love with the music video and the song. YG really went all out for her. It doesn’t sound like anything else at all. Rosé looks absolutely stunning in this piece of visual art.
  7. TRACKLIST: 1. On The Ground (Writers: Amy Allen, Jon Bellion, Jorgen Odegard, Raúl Cobin, Teddy Park, and Rosé) (Producers: Jorgen Odegard, ojvolta, Teddy Park, Jon Bellion, and 24) 2. Gone (Writers: Brian Lee, J. Lauryn, Teddy Park, and Rosé) (Producers: 24, Brian Lee) 3. On The Ground (Instrumental) 4. Gone (Instrumental)
  8. Rosé solo track was played for the first time at Blackpink online show "The show". It's called "Gone" and it's really good. It's not out yet for streaming and the M/V is no where to found right now but we have this recording of her singing it at The show I think it's really good, I love it ! What do you think ?
  9. Update: Rosé and Lisa are working on solo projects for 2021. Their management issued this statement: "Both Rosé and Lisa are currently carrying out the necessary steps for their solo music releases. It's true that there are plans for them to film MVs soon." YGE continued, "Because Jisoo’s scheduled to film her debut drama series 'Snow Drop', [Lisa and Rosé] will release solo tracks first. We will release more specific details including time frames later on in an official announcement." Earlier: BLACKPINK just released their new record The Album, but band member Rosé is already setting her sights on solo stuff. She told fans she's already recorded a few songs and that she hasn't selected a title for the solo album/EP. I was kind of surprised how candid she was about releasing solo material. Is this the beginning of the end for BP? Thoughts?! Related:
  10. There is not much information at the moment, but clearly it is a world tour. In the video we can see some of the cities that BLACKPINK will visit: SEOUL, PARIS, SYDNEY, RIO DE JANEIRO, JOHANNESBURG, NEW YORK, LONDON, ISTANBUL, MEXICO CITY, AMSTERDAM, SINGAPORE, JAKARTA, LOS GANELES, MUMBAI, TORONTO, TOKYO, KUALA LUMPUR, TAIPEI, HONG KONG, BANGKOK. BLACKPINK will be in your area? They won't be in mine for now... PS: I can't stop listening to "HOW YOU LIKE THAT" and "PRETTY SAVAGE"... two bops!
  11. K-pop phenom Blackpink are in hot water after coming in contact with a baby panda. Pandas are an endangered species, so extra measures are in place to protect them. O fficials fear contact from humans could result in a zoonotic infection, according to the Chinese State Forestry Administration. A new clip shows the girls around a 3-month-old cub named Fubao. You can read more about the controversy here. First the nurse scene, now this? They really are the new HBICs Thoughts, Exhale?
  12. BLACKPINK released a documentary on Netflix titled BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky. It's out now! It features exclusive interviews and never-before-seen footage of Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose. Have any of you seen it, Exhale? Related:
  13. Ryan Tedder worked on Ariana Grande's forthcoming sixth studio album. He perviously collaborated with Ariana on My Everything track, "Why Try." Tedder is responsible for a bunch of seriously massive hits, including Beyonce's "Halo," "Remedy" by Adele, "Bet You Wanna" by BLACKPINK and Cardi B.... to be honest there's so many. Tedder can be very hit or miss when it comes to crafting music, but I personally love almost everything he makes. I'm excited to hear what Ariana and he cooked up. Thoughts, Exhale? Are you here for this collab? Related:
  14. I wouldn’t mind if it’s the new single or 'Love To Hate Me' PRETTY SAVAGE LOVESICK GIRLS
  15. For some reason unknown to everyone who has at least 1% of their brain functioning, Korean GP lost their minds over Jennie's scene in Lovesick girls where she's acting as a nurse. The media slandered YG and her for sexualizing nurses - It's worth mentioning that Jennie wore a knee-long dress and is literally just sitting with her legs crossed in a chair as she's scribbling on paper. This scene is no longer available in the M/V because YG entertainment decided to remove the scene due to the slander. On the other hand, South Korea has a huge problem of nurses being over-sexualized where many ****** attacks on nurses have been recorded (patients grabbing their *****, etc.) However, I don't think Jennie should be the one to suffer for decades of over-sexualizing a profession, moreover because she was probably the only decent one who portrayed nurses in their actual uniforms. Here's the compariso: What say you Exhale, did S. Korea turn into a bunch of Karens?
  16. BLACKPINK's new album album, The Album, has officially arrived. It features collaborations with Selena Gomez and Cardi B. I haven't had a chance to full sink my teeth into it yet, but from what I've heard thus far its a bunch of bops They also released a music video for "Lovesick Girls." Thoughts, Exhale?! Related:
  17. Cardi B didn't initially care to promote her new BLACKPINK collab "Bet You Wanna" because BLACKPINK's fanbase, The Blinks, apparently disrespected Cardi before and after the song came out. In now-deleted Tweets, she said: Looks like she had a change of heart and started promoting it any way Stream "Bet You Wanna" here:
  18. Blackpink gives a shout out to Britneys iconic 2002 movie Crossroads in their new music video lovesick girls. In the scene above they dance infront of the title of the movie and top down Cadillac, similar to the one Britney drove in the 2002s blockbuster hit. In the very scene you can see the girls strutting Britneys signature 'now watch me' move from her slave for you video. I Stan some pretty savages honoring the queen Stream lovesick girls for shinier healthier hair
  19. BLACKPINK and Cardi B team up for a new song together titled "Bet You Wanna." Cardi posted the explicit version Thoughts, Exhale?!
  20. BTS' "Dynamite" returns to No. 1 for a 3rd non-consecutive week; meanwhile, Justin Bieber's latest single "Holy" featuring Chance the Rapper debuts at No.3. Justin previously said No. 2 was for losers. Can't imagine how he feels now with a No.3 debut, which is still a pretty strong one. "Dynamite" was No. 2 last week on the chart. It has overtaken "Hawái" by Colombian star Maluma to be the No.1 song on this new chart created by Billboard just last week, with the help of 67.4 million streams (down from 70.9 million the previous week) and 18,000 sold (up from 15,000) in territories outside the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 17. It is currently still No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100. Chart rankings are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts' calculations. Earlier: Many have predicted the song to free-fall in the 2nd week after getting a fan-fueled No.1 in its first week on the chart. "WAP" was almost certain to return to its No.1 spot. The record of the biggest fall from #1 debut is currently held by 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj for their single "Trollz". However, the band manages to stay atop the chart for a second consecutive week with the aid of 2 new remixes and VMA performance. This extends the record of #1 by an international group, and makes "Dynamite" the first No.1 debut by a group to remain at #1 in its 2nd week this century and the only song in the past 4 years to sell 180k digital downloads in its first 2 weeks. Also noteworthy is that Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are the only two women in the Top 10. We need some more female power to rule the charts ASAP. BLACKPINK earns their highest debut on the chart with the Selena Gomez collaboration "Ice Cream" (No. 13). The rest of the Top 10 this week is as follows: #1 (=). "Dynamite", BTS [2 weeks at No.1] #2 (=). "WAP", Cardi B feat. Megan Thee Stallion [2 weeks at No. 1] #3 (=). "Laugh Now Cry Later", Drake feat. Lil Durk #4 (=). "ROCKSTAR" DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch [7 weeks at No.1] #5 (=). "Blinding Lights", The Weeknd [4 weeks at No.1] #6 (+1). "Watermelon Sugar", Harry Styles [1 week at No. 1] #7 (-1). "WHATS POPPIN", Jack Harlow feat. DaBaby, Tory Lanez & Lil Wayne #8 (+4). "Mood", 24kGoldn feat. iann dior #9 (=). "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)", Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo #10 (=). "Before You Go", Lewis Capaldi #13 (new). "Ice Cream", BLACKPINK & Selena Gomez This marks the biggest digital sales in a week's timeframe since Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" in 2017. According to Billboard, the total sales number adds up to 300K after including the physical copies sold on their website. This is BTS' first Hot 100 No.1. They become the first international band in history to debut at #1 on the Hot 100. The rest of the Top 10 this week is as follows: #1 (new). "Dynamite", BTS #2 (-1). "WAP", Cardi B feat. Megan Thee Stallion #3 (-1). "Laugh Now Cry Later", Drake feat. Lil Durk #4 (-1). "ROCKSTAR" DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch #5 (-1). "Blinding Lights", The Weeknd #6 (-1). "WHATS POPPIN", Jack Harlow feat. DaBaby, Tory Lanez & Lil Wayne #7 (=). "Watermelon Sugar", Harry Styles #8 (=). "ROSES", SAINt JHN #9 (=). "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)", Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo #10 (+2). "Before You Go", Lewis Capaldi If that's not enough of big news, the song has also sold over 500k units in the US. Another record: "Circles" by Post Malone (currently at #16) is the 1st song in the chart's history to spend its entire first year within Top 20. UPDATE (Aug 24): All 4 versions of "Dynamite" now occupy the Top 4 positions of iTunes Chart in US. There's also prediction that this song will sell at least 200k - 250k copies, the most in a week since Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" in 2017. After breaking Spotify first-day record and YouTube 24-hour record, BTS will likely unseat Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion from the #1 position on Billboard Hot 100 with the largest sales week in 2020. They are also releasing 2 extra remixes to boost the sales number to another height. Related:
