The 2020 BET music awards nominations are out. Best hip hop female looks interesting. One nomination stands out since she hasn't released music since Press Ever since Cardi came into the scene. BET started denying Nicki when cardi won best female hip hop since 2017. Not a conspiracy theorist. But I have a little theory. VH1 airs love and hip hop which brought cardi B to the mainstream and general public radar.. ViacomCBS owns BET. They also own vh1 As you see they are awarding Cardi B cos she's part of the family. CARDI’S PERFORMANCE WENT OFF WITH A BANG. Cardi’s fiery performance of new single “Press,” and “Clout” was one of the highlights at the BET Awards on Sunday. She and Offset lit up the stage with a raunchy lap dance while pyrotechnic explosions drove home the narrative that, well… Cardi’s mad. It also featured teams of male-female backup dancers who danced in matching outfits. Cardi was also awarded Album of the Year at the event. Watch below:
