  1. Disappointed but not surprised. I think it’s a missed opportunity on her end to really guarantee that what she wants to say can be heard exactly how she wants to say it. But, c’est la vie. I just really, really hope the book’s content isn’t watered down.
  2. Thank you so much! I’m still learning how to produce stuff/making it up as I go along. All this was done in Garage Band on my Mac
  3. Thank you! I def put a lot of thought into it. I’m super thankful for whoever made that AI a cappella. Because I don’t want anymore fücking collars.
  4. I mean, after listening to this song for like 3 days straight while I worked on this, I think I need a break from MYB. Hahaha
  5. Like many (but not all!) I'm not so crazy about the official version of Mind Your Business, so I've edited it into a new version that I think fixes a lot of issues I had with the song. •Britney only! Pieced together from the official mix and that AI-generated solo mix •Restructured to be less repetitive, focusing on the dance-pop sections and reducing the "washido" rap to a single verse bridge (and I removed the "dogs" verse entirely because it is unsalvageable) •I added audio elements from paparazzi videos and the 2006 Matt Lauer interview to provide better context to the theme of the song (plus, I think it's cool how some modern songs, especially by Drake, include sounds bites like that) •Enhanced other elements with some subtle instrumentals, sound effects, and the "b.i.tch" from Gimme More (I also added the Work B.!.tch "b.i.tch" to that last one with the chorus) I made new cover art as well, which is designed to evoke the TMZ logo because duh (and the roses in the red are a nod to Brit Brit of course). I hope y'all listen and like it!!!
  6. Somebody make a short edit with a couple sound bites of her interactions with the media and it’s kind of genius. Would be a serve if the real song did this, and then the commentary of the lyrics / how they’re touting the song’s concept would hold better weight.
  7. Omfg. Are the will verses done with AI? They sound identical to the “real” ones. Is this whole song actually just AI then?
  8. I think it should have kept that final choral “bïtch” though.
  9. It’s a thing that exists, and accurate to what one should expect based on who’s involved. Harmless, lowest common denominator fun. Literally, fast-food music; “Baby Shark” for adults; glorified advertisement/commercial jingle. It’s catchy in the same way that “1-800 Kars for Kids” or the Liberty Mutual Insurance songs get stuck in one’s head. I kind of like Britney’s verse, especially the “I am the economy” part. But I always find any lyric that earnestly mentions the “paparazzi” as inherently tacky. The “manjobi” part is fine. I really don’t like any of the “washidoo” stuff, will’s verses, or Britney second verse about the dogs. Ultimately, this is pure junk. But perfect for, like, drinking at pool parties. My hype level is 0%
  10. Also, I can’t believe this is during Onyx! She looks like a chiiild
  11. Omg not the framed photo of her and Brad Pitt on the side table!
  12. All I can say is that we survived Ooh La La, and I’m at the same level of hype with this… I don’t want to spread negativity, and shouldn’t be judging anything without hearing the song first…but everything we DO already know has me fûcking stone cold stoic (which is a really unfortunate reaction to be having as a Britney stan). Maybe it WILL be a bop, in which case I’ll be on the ground, totally floored.
  13. Meh, I wouldn’t count any of the “photoshoots” she did at her home just for, like, Instagram (even if they were shot by “real” photographers). They served no purpose and didn’t include professional stylists or anything like that. Then there’s the one-off shots for Domination, Pepsi, Fantasy In Bloom... Was Prerogative fragrance the last big shoot? And that only gave us like 2 mediocre photos (but FIERCE videos). Were her last full-scale magazine spreads all from Glory era?
  14. Do all the previous reports that she was working with ghostwriter (extremely common) Sam Lansky no longer matter? Like, what is with the negative spin. Nobody thought she’d be writing this all on her own. She very likely recorded all sorts of thoughts/had long conversations with this dude and then he was tasked to organize it in a compelling way. After all, he (or whomever it was) is a professional writer; Britney, very much so, is not. ALL commercial art necessitates/depends upon a team of people to produce it.
  15. That’s what I’m waiting on. I’d rather have the experience be Britney literally telling her own story. But if it’s not her on the audio book, I’ll get the hard copy and just read it to myself.
  16. Because she was going super saiyan on the goofy and starting to talk gibberish after losing track of the Kokomo lyrics. So he was cutting her off because they wouldn’t be able to use any of that. It sounded very lighthearted to me; it’s no different than when a friend tells you you’re being “extra.” It’s just a suggestion to reel it in a bit. Not some malicious control tactic like some people here love to interpret/frame everything that sounds even remotely like someone “telling Britney what to do.”
