  1. I’d rather not. I’m so done with Britney uselessly collabing with others and am actually not a fan of most of the top pop stars anyway.
  2. This is what I thought of immediately and commented on her Instagram
  3. Personally offended they listed “Mannequin” - one of my favorite B tracks - as a lowlight. I also prefer Circus as a full album over Femme Fatale.
  4. 1. Piece of Me 2. Radar 3. WSIBS / Outta This World
  5. I mean I’ll do my best to understand why he supports her. I even told him about the like half million for “media matters.” I just think it’s hilarious that after all the bogus drama during Glory era about pool parties I actually encountered someone tangentially connected to all this via a fu¢k1ing pool party!!! (He’s more like a real estate lawyer though, so nothing to do with entertainment or Britney).
  6. Tonight I was *literally* at a *pool party* with a guy who works for Holland & Knight as a lawyer and who spoke so highly of Vivian (literally said she is so smart; I said she is likely involved in something corrupt) and he thought it was bonkers that I even knew her by name. I don’t even know what to do with this thread. I’m just shocked by the small coincidence.
  7. Just watched the Netflix doc tonight and still felt heavily invested in it, despite already knowing basically all the information, not to mention the good news we received today. I do not understand the general tone of criticism for it here in the fandom. It included/addressed so many things we were disappointed got left out of the NYT docs. WHAT is the problem? I think it did a good job of providing context and teaching about all these moving parts and shadowy figures. Was it the classiest & with the most artistic integrity, certainly not. But that is irrelevant. It was still extremely informative, especially for the GP…which is who the doc was made for in the first place. We’ve wanted the GP to know all this stuff! And now they DO. Like whyyy are people complaining.
  8. It’s a reach that his specifically chosen pink tie on the day of an extremely important hearing matches the known pink of the #FreeBritney campaign for which he not only acknowledges but supports? Please. It’s absolutely intentional.
  9. I’m pretty sure the J 10 3 5 is citing a bible verse. J 10:3-5. So, either one of these: https://biblia.com/bible/niv/john/10/3-5 https://biblia.com/bible/esv/jeremiah/10/3-5
  10. No I think she means her documentary was also going to cover a lot of the misogyny/media treatment etc. that was the intended & overarching focus of Framing Britney. So her producer told her to scratch that approach and make examining the conservatorship itself the priority.
  11. Maybe! I agree with having to administer a stop date when something is ongoing, and obviously the Netflix people have selected this date intentionally. But I still think holding for a few days longer to include text about the 29th is more than valid. But in the words of the holy spearit herself:
  12. If the documentary really is coming out on the 28th, I do find it strange that they wouldn’t just wait to include whatever important progress occurs on the 29th. Like, even if it’s just added as epilogue text. It just seems dumb to me to release the day before other major developments because it makes their doc project willfully/intentionally incomplete.
  13. Uggg I was hoping that we’d be moving past this kind of content. Here we go again…
  14. I really like this shorter hair on her. It’s not too short like in 2015. Also really glad those red streaks seem to have been temporary extensions…was not a fan.
  15. At the moment, probably Baby One More Time because I sing little bits of it to myself all the time, and it’s energizing and danceable while also having ballad-quality vocals. Most times though it would be Breathe On Me because I enjoy the act of purely listening to it better. And I am always here for s3xy, moody, electronic, dance music. On other days, the other most likely candidate would be Hold It Against Me, but it HAS to be the FFT mix with the prerecorded vocals.
  16. If she returns to the stage post-conservatorship, I do imagine her mic being turned on against the track, so we’ll mostly just hear tidbits of live vocals but especially there will be little ad-libs and runs I think. I also imagine in her set list she’ll give one slow song and one cover completely live.
  17. Omfg Work ***** is almost a decade old Thank god for Apple Music Fest audio so that we have a version with her vocals more clearly. Wish there was one without crowd cheering. Work ***** is iconic though. I thought the song was a little weird at first and definitely felt something was off about the voice, but very soon became obsessed.
