I feel like if I tried to sing like Christina here, 4 of the 4 singing teachers I worked with would have spanked me.

It's funny or maybe rather scary that she dissects healthy techniques in an interview and someone might think that this is actually true. It isn't. Growl performed every word, sung at full power, overloads the throat a lot. Actually, baby voice, which she showed as an "unhealthy technique," is less harmful. Is it some kind of knockout?
