  1. are they saying that Jamie is paying Lynne a lot of money so she can support him going forward?
  2. why do people think it's her team posting them though? and what's so wrong with posting old photos lol? don't we all do it?
  3. so if he was so great at keeping her business in check, why did he resign 3 months later saying irreparable harm would come to Britney if the judge didn't accept the resignation? so weird
  4. damage control from insinuating she would never perform again which then made headline news worldwide
  5. sorry if AP 100 pages back new comments (againnnnnnn) from Larry about the conservatorship: “The last thing any California state judge wants is to do something incorrectly and inappropriately and be the subject of a story about a judge that has done something wrong by Britney Spears,” said Larry Rudolph, Spears’s manager, who is not involved in the conservatorship but has worked with her for many years. “The conservatorship is not a jail. It helps Britney make business decisions and manage her life in ways she can’t do on her own right now.” Meanwhile, Rudolph said, Spears’s father is as eager as any fan to see the day that she can live on her own terms. “He doesn’t want this to continue forever,” he said. “It’s his daughter. He wants to see her happy. A functional life without any intervention like this.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/the-battle-of-britney-spears/2019/05/17/edcc826c-7681-11e9-bd25-c989555e7766_story.html?utm_term=.f2a5163ef45d
  6. doesn't sound like britney. also sounds like someone speaking directly into a phone mic. the lengths people will go to.
  7. the revelations have left me disturbed, anxious, upset, yet i can't get enough of the daily updates on here
  8. she looks so miserable every time too. like 'yay, i get to go to starbucks today... with my bodyguard'
  9. this is getting really ugly, every day there are multiple new stories. it's like 2007 hysteria but without the x17 and tmz pap videos
  10. Also - he did say she might never work again. So his attempt at clarifying his statement to TMZ is another misfire “I don’t want her to work again ’til she’s ready physically, mentally and passionately. If that time never comes again it will never come again,” Rudolph told TMZ. “I have no desire or ability to make her work again. I am only here for her when she wants to work. And, if she ever does want to work again, I’m here to tell her if it’s a good idea or a bad idea.”
  11. https://people.com/music/britney-spears-manager-larry-rudolph-clarifies-comments-never-work-again/ Britney Spears is currently taking a break from the spotlight, but that doesn’t mean the singer will never be back on a stage. One day after the star’s longtime manager Larry Rudolph told TMZ Spears, 37, may “possibly never” perform again, Rudolph clarified his comments in a statement to PEOPLE. “Other media sources seem to be picking up my quotes to TMZ as implying that Britney will never work again. That’s not what I said,” says Rudolph, 55. “I simply said that the Vegas residency is now officially off and that she hasn’t called me in months to talk about doing anything so I’m not sure if or when she will ever want to work again. It’s that simple.” In the statement, which was first obtained by Billboard, Rudolph also underscores that his role in Spears’ life is to be her manager: “She calls me if and when she wants to work. Other than that I’m not involved in anything else. Not the conservatorship, not her medical treatment, not her kids. Nothing else.” n January, Spears — who is mom to Sean, 13, and Jayden, 12 (with ex Kevin Federline) — canceled her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency before seeking treatment at an all-encompassing wellness facility, which she left in April after a month. RELATED: Britney Spears Appears Alongside Mother at Conservatorship Hearing as Media Requested to Leave Court As PEOPLE previously reported, Spears’s medication had lost some efficacy over time; she took a break from work and sought treatment as she struggled to cope after her father Jamie suffered a life-threatening colon rupture last fall. “As the person who guides her career — based on the information I and all of the professionals who work with her are being told on a need-to-know basis — from what I have gathered it’s clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again,” Rudolph told TMZ on Wednesday. “It was the perfect storm. We had to pull her show because her meds stopped working and she was distraught over her dad’s illness.” On Wednesday, The Blast reported that the judge in Spears’s conservatorship ordered a probate court investigator to look into her case, including her team. There will be a report filed prior to Spears’s next hearing on Sept. 18. “I don’t want her to work again ’til she’s ready physically, mentally and passionately. If that time never comes again it will never come again,” Rudolph told TMZ. “I have no desire or ability to make her work again. I am only here for her when she wants to work. And, if she ever does want to work again, I’m here to tell her if it’s a good idea or a bad idea.” Since Spears left treatment, her mother Lynne filed a legal motion to be kept informed of all matters pertaining to the singer’s conservatorship. Lynne was also present at a conservatorship hearing last Friday when a judge ordered a 730 evaluation. It is unclear whether the examination — which is often used to assess custodial parents’ fitness in divorce cases — relates to Jamie and Lynne’s involvement in Spears’s life or to some other matter. “Britney is still adjusting to medications. It’s a difficult situation for her and Lynne is in L.A. to help. Lynne wants to be more involved in Britney’s care because she is her mom,” a Spears family source told PEOPLE last week. “If there is something more they can do for Britney, Lynne wants to make sure Britney gets that help.”
  12. have both of these been posted already? this thread is moving too fast Larry tries to clarify TMZ comments: https://people.com/music/britney-spears-manager-larry-rudolph-clarifies-comments-never-work-again/ Britney looks gloomy on coffee run: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-7037571/Britney-Spears-appears-gloomy-coffee-run-LA-amid-new-investigation-conservatorship.html
  13. So Lou made her instagram account private recently. I wonder if she has any plans to try and clear her name the same way Larry tried to do
  14. I always thought he was smart enough to know how to handle her image in the media, but considering this has made worldwide news with headlines like 'BRITNEY'S LONGTIME MANAGER DOUBTS SHE CAN PERFORM EVER AGAIN' he is most definitely a dumb ***
  15. Well done Larry. Your interview has made headlines worldwide. Congrats on one of the worst PR moves you could ever make for a client, you *******
  16. i'm on my phone and twitter has done a recap of the whole britney situation, starting with larry saying she may never work again and continuing with 'britney's efforts to end her conservatorship' etc
  17. As far as her music is concerned, Spears is still signed to RCA Records and “at some point, she’ll record again,” says Rudolph. “There’s a slow-moving project she’s been dabbling in and out of that’s the beginning of something.” Variety reported earlier this year that hit songwriter Justin Tranter came aboard as an executive producer of a forthcoming album. “She’ll come back to it when she’s ready,” says Rudolph. “She’s been working since she was a kid. At 37 years old, she’s worked more than most people who hit retirement age.” https://variety.com/2019/music/news/britney-spears-may-never-perform-again-manager-says-1203215676/ He also says he has not spoken to Britney in 4-5 months "which tells him she is taking care of herself" and calls #FreeBritney unnecessary Btw this is a further interview he gave to Variety magazine after the TMZ one (he's trying to do damage control for his TMZ one)
  18. I'm guessing this was has already been posted 200 pages back but if not, Larry further spoke to Variety about #FreeBritney He also told Variety that the Free Britney movement is not necessary: 'I understand how much these fans love her and support her and I love that,' said the manager. 'The part that concerns me is that it has no factual basis. The personal issues that Britney is dealing with are highly complicated and the conservatorship is there for a reason. The courts of the State of California take this very seriously. I hope the people allow her to have her private time.' He also said that he knows her very well as he has managed the pop siren for decades - from 1998 to 2004 and 2008 to present. 'I’ve been with her for two-thirds of her life,” Larry continued. 'I look at her almost like I look at my own daughter. It’s very emotional for me … and really rough. Personally, I want for her to just find a peaceful, happy place - whatever that means for her. It’s not about a career anymore - it’s about life. '[Britney] is the one whose focus is on on [getting better]. She’s driving it,' Larry told the publication. He added: 'Let her be a civilian for a while. She's given so much. Give her time.' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-7034457/Britney-Spears-conservatorship-judge-orders-thorough-investigation-minders.html
  19. I'm starting to think Larry decided to give this harsh, fear mongering interview to TMZ because they posted that Britney had joined the #FreeBritney movement on Monday... maybe it's a clash of insiders, the Monday source must have been close to Britney, and now Larry's given this horrible interview to paint the narrative that she is too unstable to do anything. He's such a ****
  20. There’s so much finality in his answers. ‘Ever perform again’, ‘may never happen’, ‘if she wants to work again ever’.. sounds like they had a bit of friction. It’s really unprofessional of him to say things like this about one of his biggest clients. And talking about her medication publicly - disgusting.
  21. he is a total idiot for mentioning that. he's confirmed the podcast story and disrespected britney majorly
  22. he quoted me last night in the abyss free britney thread, he is definitely Team Britney on all of this
  23. sadly he didn't ask her about #FreeBritney, starts around 8.50
