  1. Here down under we seem to have quite a lot of successful female pop acts who get a few good songs on the Aussie charts but can never really breakout internationally. The exception being Kylie, Sia, Olivia Newton John and (Excluding the states) Tina Arena Does anyone follow any of our girls who didn’t break the states? The Veronicas, Delta Goodrem, Natalie Imbruglia Or Remember any forgotten gems? Kiss Kiss by Holly Valance will always be my 00s Anthem
  2. I’m Aussie, not the biggest royalist but this is a loss. It’s such a sad day for the UK, Australia and the rest of the commonwealth . Monarchy may not fit in most places today but even I cannot deny the overall impact on our lives he’s had and on pop culture, I’m sure many would be surprised to know just how integral a role he played to his wife, his nation, commonwealth and world. RIP The longest reigning consort in history and a man for the ages.
  3. Sweetheart, I never said I was on the dancefloor bopping. There are restrictions on dancing, However there are no restrictions on drag queens performing..
  4. Was Bopping to Sour Candy on Saturday here in Sydney 💃🏼 Very grateful to live in a country that has taken really rigorous steps to protect people, our death toll hasn’t even surpassed 1000 since the start of the pandemic. Chin up world, Keep on Boppin at a distance. We’ll all be rippin up the dance floors together again soon ❤️
  5. A BOP! It could get a a bit repetitive for some, But it’s been a while since I’ve heard some pure pop so I’m happy
  6. Best think about being an Aussie is getting it here a day ahead of everyone else.. And she’s also a national treasure 👑 🇦🇺 This is probably her best and most sonically cohesive album since Aphrodite. Fight me. Supernova and Fine wine are probably my favourites so far!
  7. She is a True Aussie Icon! 🇦🇺 My mother used to work on Neighbours(AUS Tv show) in wardrobe and dressed Kylie and cast in the early days. To Australians, UK and Europe she is very much an act to rival Madonna. She has continuously reinvented herself and her image as well as foray into genres that were really before the times of it being cool. Her self titled 94 album and Impossible Princess(soooo underrated) really were a precursor for other mainstream artists going “experimental” incorporating Electronica, Trip hop, House, Trance, Techno and Dub-step. Following up with the more Pure Pop/Radio friendly Light Years and a the Iconic Fever albums really cemented her as a visionary and a leader, not a follower. Many pop artists really do forget the Dues Kylie paid and how integral she was for paving the way for them 🙌🏻 Also Don’t sleep on the other Minogue! Dannii has some amazing club songs! 1997’ Girl and 2003 Neon Nights are absolute gems ♦️
  8. I’ve really found a new appreciation for Bedtime Stories. It’s a perfect Album for the juxtaposition of the mid 90s. Sanctuary and Forbidden love are True Gems ❤️
  9. A Symphonic Floor Filler! I HATED Stupid love and was unsure of the songs she rolled out up to the album release, But the gems in this are really the “Non-Commercial” songs. Fun Tonight, 911 and Babylon are immaculate! I’m Feeling some Kylie Impossible Princess vibes, Which is truly the most underrated dance album of the 90s
