This doc acts like Femme Fatale and Britney Jean never happened. I know the book does the same thing and this is basically a book recap but honestly those are two eras I’m still dying to know about. This is the impression I got from the book. The family was living off Britney for years by 2003/2004. But this is around the time she takes more creative control of her work, takes a little time off, and rebels a bit by having a quick wedding. Imo this shook the Spears family and is when they first tried to get some control to ensure Britney kept working and the money kept rolling in. Proof of this is in the way Jamie popped up around the Diane interview, as you said, plus they way both parents popped up after the Vegas wedding. Now we have this photo shoot story. I think Jamie and Lynne wanted control long before the cship because without Britney working and Britney in their lives they’d be dead broke and they knew it.

Our queen submits natural toned down photos for a magazine cover and we’re criticizing her appearance? After knowing that she was made to look a certain way for over a decade?

This. Tape ins are an absolute pain to wash and dry. I washed my hair a lot less when I had tape ins because I hated the process. They’d look fresh and nice right after putting them in but the maintenance was so time consuming that most days I’d just accept that they were gonna look messy if I didn’t have hours to style.
