  1. Sending you love and good vibes. I dislocated my knee doing jump-lunges in the gym years ago, which unfortunately turned into a reoccurring thing. After my first few dislocations, I had to re-learn how to walk each time, which sucked. But I agree, working out does make me happier and more focused! I'll usually just put my Britney collection on shuffle while I work out and skip any ballad/midtempo that comes on, haha.
  2. Sounds exciting, feel free to share your work with us as you go through your program!
  3. I got my bachelor's degree in business and am working towards a master's in communication. My goal is to work in the media/entertainment industry, so I try to incorporate Britney/pop culture in as many assignments for school as I can, haha. But I currently work in an unrelated industry doing marketing and sales.
  4. I'm from Michigan, so it's nice to see some fellow Midwesterners on here!
  5. The suburbs of Detroit. But my family's originally from India, so hi @Blackout2006.
  6. Love this idea! My socials are in my profile, and I followed people whose Twitter/IG links work.
  7. Happy birthday, JT! Been a fan since the *NSYNC days! FS/LS and 20/20 Parts 1 & 2 are such incredible albums that even the B-sides are bops. Check these out: Even the artwork for those albums are so iconic. @Xfactor Sam The 2013 VMA performance is my favorite too! As for his best moments, we can't forget about these:
  8. Thank you so much for reading! I agree that Amy is uber talented. Maybe it's because I grew up on Britney and all the other artists in the late 90's/early 00's who were marketed as just "regular girls/boys next door," but in order for me to really get into artists, I have to like them as people and be able to relate to them in some way. I just don't feel that connection with Amy. What did you think of the song selection for that post? Would you have picked something different? As for "This Kiss," I didn't pick the track listing arbitrarily. I went with every unreleased song Britney has a writing credit on that we have a full solo version of (with the "Rebellion" snippet being the exception), so I had to include it. I personally do like "This Kiss," though, and he didn't seem to mind it either. I don't get where the hate for it comes from. Do people think it's too cutesy/not mature enough for 2008ney?
  9. @MadLoveney @mannequin19 @David Rose @Tetris @Danielle1987 @MyahJeanSpears @GregReid @Stannedforever @Frankie8 Thanks for all the support! We hope you love Part 2! https://www.beatnikandbubblegum.com/blog/tbt-britney-spears-in-her-own-words-part-2
  10. Yep. He probably meant all but one of the Neptunes tracks on the album. https://www.vibe.com/photos/read-vibe-feb-2003-justin-timberlake-cover-story/vibe-justin-timberlake-cover-story-4
  11. Haha, I didn't mean to be shady, I just didn't know how else to word it. "My non-fan friend" sounded a little clunky. Glad you enjoyed the post!
  12. Glad you love the concept! We would definitely consider branching out into audio/video if there's a demand for it, but our first post is a written post that you can find here: https://www.beatnikandbubblegum.com/blog/tbt-britney-spears-in-her-own-words-part-1
  13. Thanks for checking out the blog! This is our first attempt at creating any kind of content, so we figured text posts would be the easiest to start with, but we're not opposed to transitioning into audio/video in the future. Especially now that your comment gave him an ego boost lol.
  14. Hey, everyone! My friend and I launched our new blog today. He's a jazz snob, and I love pop, and we're going to take turns reviewing each other's favorite music (as well as some new releases). This week, I had him review some unreleased Britney and ITZ era tracks that Britney has writing credits on (a Part 2 with songs from Original Doll, Blackout, and Circus is coming in the new year). Check it out here: https://www.beatnikandbubblegum.com/ If you liked our first post, make sure to follow us on Twitter and IG and share with other Britney fans. We're just starting out, so every little bit of love helps. Update 1/28: Part 2 is live now!
