Madonna faces even more backlash for starting her Madame X shows later than scheduled.
One concert-goer sued the Queen of Pop last fall for taking the stage hours after she was meant to, reportedly causing distress and an array of personal problems for them. Two more fans(?) are joining in.
According to a new report from TMZ, Andrew Panos and Antonio Velotta are filing a lawsuit against Madonna for making them wait two to three hours before beginning her shows on Sept. 21 and Oct. 1 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
Madonna was scheduled to perform at 8:30, but reportedly didn't appear until 11:30.
From TMZ:
QuoteThey claim the value of their tickets was greatly diminished, and more importantly ... they say they were left stranded at around 1 AM because they'd missed their scheduled trains or other rides home.
The guys claim the unannounced delay -- which they insist Madonna admitted was her fault -- ruined their plans for work and school the next day. They say they weren't able to arrange alternative rides since their phones were confiscated during the show.
Live Nation refused to give them refunds.
They're suing for breach of contract, loss of value, false advertisement and negligent misrepresentation. They're asking for damages and lawyer fees.
Madonna addressed her tardiness in the past, telling the audience: "Here's something you all need to understand... and that is, that the queen is never late."
Madonna has cancelled a string of shows lately due to overwhelming pain.
