  1. Don't disown me Exhale but I actually like Britney Jean

  2. Thank you for a reply with some actual substance and for not saying "Just listen to the songs" (did the rest of you even read the initial post?). I hadn't heard anything about file names being listed under Myah. I can't say that "Body Ache" is more Myah than Britney, because what about "Trip To Your Heart"? What about "Shattered Glass"? What about lots of other Britney songs that are intentionally modified and distorted vocally...?

  3. No, she doesn't sing live at B:POM, nor did I ever think she did, nor did she when I was 10 feet away from her at the May 5th show this year...but you seem the kind who thinks that Original Doll was a legit album that is still buried secretly in a cardboard box somewhere in the basement of Jive Records. Don't bother with "contributing" to this topic if you're not going to read the original post.

  4. Thanks for providing examples for comparison, but still, it'd be unfair to compare "Private Show" with "Just Luv Me", for example, because they're sung completely differently but both by Britney. I'm not denying that Myah's vocals weren't used for backing, maybe even a lot, but to say that there are songs that Britney absolutely did not sing is way too extreme of a theory to accept without evidence to show. ...And for what it's worth, "Chillin' With You" makes me cringe all around.

  5. I know most people dislike it lol but I love Don't Cry, Passenger, Now That I Found You, Til It's Gone, Alien and Work *****.

  7. You could easily download the stems yourself, the Nick* information is on twitter, and the Work ***** info is a given fact, as well as the lyric credits. The only disputable thing is the audio on Hold On Tight, but I'm not going to post an entire audio analysis for you because you're clearly denying everything you can and I doubt it would change your mind regardless. This isn't a research paper. It's a forum.

  9. Girl, where were you when my topic was up I plugged in my headphones wrong and heard everything. Myah sung most of the song and in a few she helped Britney, while in a few more songs Britney sang by herself

  10. It's all her voice. Yes, computers have been used, but it's Britney's voice.. I've listened to every one of her songs since she came out and she has a wide range of voices when she sings as well.. People are just stupid around here and in general..

  12. Perfume and Dont Cry Hold on tight has Myah Good post! The delusion is so real in this thread it's sad. Don't you think us Britney fans WANT to be wrong about all of this? I don't like to claim Myah sings a lot of **** on BJ. I'm ashamed of it. I'm not announcing it proudly but like some users have already explained, there's enough evidence (or if you don't wanna name it evidence; enough clarity) that Britney didn't sing/write all of BJ. And If you can't hear it I actually envy you. You live in a better world... Anyway im still jamming to Glory. Fantastic album!

  13. @BoyToySoldier, I just want to say that I really appreciate your arguments so far because you're one of the VERY few people on this topic who have tried to bring some actual material to the debate table. I'm not against you personally, I'm just saying that what I'm looking for is proof that, say, these "Work, *****!" stems are actually from Myah Marie...because I can hear the music in the background, and the voice is still distorted with Auto-Tune or a vocoder, so it sounds like a fan just isolated the final vocals from the final beat, which is hardly original proof. Again, I'm glad you're posting here, but do you happen to have, say, a link to a Myah Marie account where she herself posts these stems as her own vocals? That would be really helpful for what I'm looking for. I also have to agree with @ITZFFGL that Britney can get song-writing credits from creating/modifying melodies. Brit has been praised by past sources (e.g. collaborators from Blackout) for having talent in creating her own melodies, so while the album booklet may be a bit misleading, yes, it doesn't mean that she did nothing. @BoyToySoldier is right about the "Passenger" leak showing us that Katy Perry and Sia were obviously the principal artists responsible for the lyrics, but everybody gets a seat at the table for song-writing credits whether they contributed 90% or 10%. It's misleading, and I too don't like it, but that's how it goes. But back to the main topic: I want to hear stems proving that Myah sang most of "Passenger". How do we know this acoustic version of "Passenger" wasn't reworked or that some parts (especially the lyrics "Now I can just enjoy the ride") weren't rerecorded by Britney and used for the final cut, regardless of how much Myah's vocals were also added?

  14. Sounds like the perfekt kind of person to create a conspiracy theory and even be able to find some 'remixes' or 'original stems' to support his 'claim'. If this is confirmation, then this argument is weak, and the speculation is what's obviously the motor to this conspiracy theory. I just want to know the truth! If it's Myah, then it's Myah; if it's not, then it's not. Neither changes my opinion of Britney Jean, but just like the overplayed Original Doll conspiracy, we all need to stop entertaining these urban legends and start sorting truth and fact from lies and assumptions.

  17. I'm pretty sure there are stems of Myah singing Alien and it matches the released version if I'm not mistaken? Myah is heavily on the album. No one said Britney isn't singing on the songs...she just ain't the lead

  18. I'm well aware that it was supposed to be Blackout 2.0 (and I'm not being sarcastic when I say thank-you for providing links!) The conspiracy theory I'm talking about is will.i.am contacting inside links and paying people off and blah blah blah. I wonder if will.i.am paid people off to keep Original Doll under the radar too Also, they didn't need an entire album to promote B:POM. "Work, *****!" was enough promotion. Having to rush an album doesn't make sense, especially when they've scrapped chunks of albums or lots of songs before.

  19. I'll apologise in advance, but the delusion of the OP is real. The only ''proof'' (seeing as they refuse to admit that it doesn't sound like britney) we'll ever have is if all the stems for all the album tracks leak OR if Britney, or Myah, say it. The reality is people who have the stems for songs have said that fans would be incredibly disappointed over files labelled ''Myah'' for a number of tracks. When tracks leaked, people noticed something was off. If that's not proof enough.... look, what happened with BJ was what happened to a number of albums: Last minute scraps to ride on safer trends, but something is off. Britney had been talking about Britney Jean (as new music) from 2012, and was seen in the studio with DarkChild. She was also working with a number of a number of urban producers, who all spoke out about their works up till the August, and Britney was talking about writing music. Then Will.I.Am reappears, two months before the album release, producers suddenly talk about being scrapped from the albums, and the album promotion is underway...Something is off here. and what was the outcome? an album of awkwardly produced dance tracks, compared to what she had previously released. We get the I am: Britney Jean documentary, filmed by the same guys who do Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and, although it features shots of Britney sitting on a bed or outside her trailer with a notebook and pen in her hand, and a huge chunk of the documentary is spent on meetings for POM, Britney talking about setlists, thanks giving etc (not rehearsals or the show), we see nothing about Britney in the studio, which was always featured in her other documentaries, or any singing (even I am the Femme Fatale had her ''sing'' Hallelujah). Her promotion for the album was completely scripted (Personal album, term of endearment, my gay fans etc, her ray of light.) because that was the original vision for the album, but the label wanted something safer than urban pop seeing as EDM was the trend at the time. Will.I.Am had released was doing well (ish) at the time, and had connections to her team, and they saw how well Scream and Shout did. However, given the fact that they had already started the promotional tour, and rehearsals for Vegas, on top of the fact that Britney was still disinterested in her career and would rather be with her family, there was no time to do studio sessions that should've been done in 2012- summer 2013, which is where Myah came in. As a singer who had connections to team b, both as a backing singer and someone who regularly submitted demos, Myah had the ability to imitate Brit's voice, enough that it confused people, but didn't have the same tone of voice, vocal fry or inflection Britney has, which is what sounded off: Whenever it switched to Britney's voice, there was a clear switch. There was also rumblings in the industry that something was happening (Myah Marie's Father speaking out....he doesn't have a contract with Britney's team.) The reason the album was scrapped was because word was getting around, and they couldn't associate the album with the brand, because something was off. Work ***** did well, Perfume had its issues, but the only other ''all britney'' tracks were Don't Cry (another ballad) or ISBE (which was autotuned to death). It was safer to move on. Why do you think producers were allowed talk about Britney being in the studio for Glory? about her writing skills, her melodies or her voice? or post pictures with the writers or producers? because they wanted to make a point that BRITNEY IS WORKING, to combat the damage done by BJ. If that doesn't convince you, all I can say is listen to the style of writing on the tracks britney is credited for, listen to older tracks she credited for too, and current tracks she's credited on. What you'll hear is a complete switch of writing styles from older works, to BJ, and back for Glory. In the end, you can claim that its just autotune, or its Britney playing around in the studio, or its bad production, but no one had these issues on Circus (when certain tracks were autotuned, but recognizable), Femme Fatale (when the vocals were dull and relatively lifeless), Pretty Girls or Tom's Diner, and no one had these issues on Glory, now, Myah is nowhere to be found despite being very vocal during that era.....

  20. For those of you deep enough in this topic to forget what my original post was, here it is, again, to remind you why I even started this topic.

  21. I'll search for the stems then if they can't be provided here; thanks for letting me know. They still haven't been presented to me though, just yelled at me, so if I'm delusional, okay, fine.

  23. So eight pages of this topic are made of fan-based conspiracy theories, mostly from those who dislike Britney Jean anyway? This is the most factual opinion I've seen yet in anybody's replies
    -1 points
  24. I feel like every six months someone tries to say the Myah theory isn't real. That chick has a BJ trophy pic up on her wall. Her dad even said She sang more than they give her credit for... I told my friend Passenger wasn't real when I heard it. Never have I not been able to pick up on Britney. BJ is 60% Myah. Love it or hate it...that's up to you.

  25. Yes, and I appreciate those of you who did provide what you could, but like I said originally, the whole reason I opened this topic (versus going on YouTube and Google and searching myself, since I've already done that) is because I wanted to know if any of you had original receipts. A YouTube video by a fan with 'leaked stems' is not strong enough since this theory is so serious and so devastating. Some of you are even saying, for example, that Britney didn't record "Work, *****!", and if you believe such a serious claim like that, I obviously want to know why and want to see proof. I'm not being stubborn with my opinion—if it's true, it's true. I'm being stubborn with replies here that do not hold their weight in credibility. And like I said before: If these theories are from hunches or 'gut instincts' or feelings, that's fine, but that's not what I'm looking for on this topic, I'm sorry I wonder if this Nick guy could provide us with stems that he himself had rights/access to upload himself? Does Myah Marie have any posts or articles or videos of her own vocal stems? That is what I'm looking for, not to be insulted because I simply want to gather resources that are credible and can be fact-checked. And if we can't get the things we need, then we have to leave it at that, no matter how we feel about Britney Jean.

  26. The studiostems leaked (google it), a lot is named Myah... + It doesn't even sound like Brit. They ONLY did new vocals for Work ***** (Vegas), the evidences are basically everywhere, but you don't want to believe it, so... it is like a conversation with someone who wouldn't even listen anyway.

  29. @Alexanda, @ICouldntThinkOfOne: I'm talking to brick walls, seriously. I don't want YouTube videos—that is not proof. (Did either one of you read my original post in this topic??) You pass me these links from fans and expect me to take that as a credible source? And you even talk about the vocals being pitched down...so how exactly are you proving any points here? Also, the "Alien (Recording Studio Stems)" video is the SAME AUDIO as the other video that somebody posted here that is supposedly vocal stems of Myah Marie...so is it Myah or is it Britney? Where are the credible sources???
    -1 points
  30. Right, I'm reaching a point where I have two slightly unfriendly words for you. We have: - given you links to Nick's stuff to show you what he does, and that he has connections, is a credible source who has said ''BRITNEY DIDNT SING THIS'' and has stems; you've chosen to ignore that - given you links to compare vocals of Work ***** (the live one, the BBMA one and the studio take that was used in the final to let you hear how different the voices are): You've chosen to ignore that too. - told you that we CANNOT POST LINKS TO DOWNLOAD THE STEMS because that is AGAINST RULES HERE! but to google them because they're the first results because they're available there; you've chosen not to. The alien track is partly sung by Britney, but there is a very clear change in vocals. In other tracks, you can hear this change on a larger scale, with the exception of two tracks. The rest is Myah. Delusional flop fan with low standards or expectations.

  31. I've already thanked you for mentioning that the stems can't be reposted here. I haven't yet found them on Reddit, but I will keep trying if you say that they're there. I will not use YouTube videos and my own ears as concrete evidence to 'prove' that an entire album's booklet is false. That makes no sense, even if to you it makes me 'delusional'. I do have low expectations, because when I hear somebody make such an outrageous claim, I expect to be able to have sources available—those are my expectations. And if the two unfriendly words are "You're right", then you don't have to say them. I have nothing against you though, I understand that you have an opinion and believe yours is right because you have two ears, and that's fine.

  32. Thank you for just being honest about the lack of proof and for saying what nobody else has: "It doesn't 100% sound like Britney and some things are suspicious so voilà the theory even if we can't prove it". I wouldn't have even started this topic had I known people would be acting like this. I wanted to see who could provide what I was looking for, but instead I get people insulting me. Are all Britney fans this hateful or just the ones who have a chip on their shoulders about Britney Jean?

  33. You knew exactly how this would play out, and given that you saw fit to bring up this dead horse, turnabout is fair play.

  34. I know now that this forum is like an echo chamber of biased thought. One person had to even apologize and ask not to be shredded apart for admitting that they liked the album despite the conspiracy. Very sad. And now that I can't bring up anything from the past because supposedly the truth is whatever all of you can conjure up from fan videos and fake stems, then that's cool, the album should have been called It's Myah, ***** and will.i.am should have been banned from ever making music because Jamie Lynn knows somebody who saw him hiding demo CDs of Original Doll while In The Zone was being promoted in the Soviet Union. Yeah.

  35. you want receipts, use your ears If you were a fan/stan you would easily recognize Britney's voice, in the case of BJ that was Myah... it was Myah who sang 80% of the album, Britney only sang Perfume & Hold On Tight in full.... maybe be Britney sang all the songs but Myah's voice was taking over the songs, it was like Britney was doing the background vocals for Myah. BJ was so rushed, they needed something to promote the vegas residency and Britney was so busy rehearsing in such a short time so they hired Myah since she helped and did some great background vocals on FF and nobody complained the original concept of BJ was a Blackout 2.0 so many hip hop producers submitted tracks for Britney but all of them were rejected in the last minute and that's another reason why BJ was rushed They said it was her most personal album ever and she wrote on every song... that's a lie ! she pulled a Beyoncé this time and Katy's demo of passenger proves it

  36. Who cares, the album sucked anyways, and that was regardless of who sang what.

  37. "The delusion of the OP is real". Slow-clap for you. I still haven't seen you provide anything substantial except this timeline and a few guesses. At least @BoyToySoldier has made decent attempts. I appreciate you giving this timeline, and I won't disagree, but you're missing the whole point of why I started this topic: I want to gather PROOF. Keep calling me delusional, but you're really hurting yourselves. If you believe everything you've written, why can NONE of you just say, "Honestly, we don't have the proof that you want, but there is a large consensus that Myah is the main vocalist and will.i.am is responsible and Blackout 2.0 got scrapped and blah blah blah". Why have none of you admitted that the conspiracy theory helps you sleep better at night? But none of you have said that. You've all gang-attacked me and called me delusional, but tell me, are you going to let your own suspicions suddenly become law? Because I won't.

  38. 1. What are his connections, and why hasn't he provided these links then?? Because I'm friends with one of the pole dancers from the original "Make Me..." video but even he doesn't know all the details behind why the original version was scrapped. Conflicts with David LaChapelle, Team B deciding to cut it, etc., but that's all he knows, and he was paid for his appearance in the video regardless, so...! 2. Where can these "Alien" stems be found?? (YouTube videos by fans or random people DO NOT COUNT. If it's evidence like Michelle Bell herself leaking "Take Off" on her own YouTube account, then that's different.) 3. Why are you calling me delusional when all I'm asking is for the original material/links/videos/whatever? Hearsay isn't evidence! "I know because I once saw a thing that somebody said one time" isn't evidence. My opinion about Britney Jean isn't important, neither is yours, but what IS important is that statements be backed with credible evidence. If you can't provide it, then why should I believe that Britney Jean is mostly Myah Marie's vocals? Why can't you just say "I think they are, they sound like it, but I can't prove it otherwise"???
    -2 points
  39. I agree, nine pages of bullshit. I honestly thought this topic would reach maybe two pages if people hadn't wasted my time with empty claims.
    -2 points
  40. I'm looking for PROOF of this conspiracy theory that Myah Marie sang most/all of the vocals on Britney Jean. As in, actual factual evidence that this is supposedly the secret truth. Saying "I'm a fan, I know her voice" is not proof, it's opinion. Saying "Britney doesn't sound like that" or "The lyrics obviously aren't her style" is also not proof, it's more opinion. Please do not waste your time spamming this topic with your feelings and emotions and hunches. I want receipts, kiddos My opinion: I do NOT think that Myah Marie had as big a part in these vocals as most people say. When I hear Myah Marie's own songs and the demos that she makes for Britney, it's clear to me that their voices are similar but not identical. I'm not sure why everybody is so quick to completely forget power of electronic engineering of voices and pitch adjustment and all sorts of really nifty technology (e.g. Auto-Tune) used all over the music industry to intentionally modify the original vocals. Britney Jean was obviously heavily edited vocally and in its overall production. I don't find this as a reason to entertain this ridiculous theory that Myah Marie is the main vocalist here. But if your claims can be fact-checked, then let's hear them.
