  2. After more than five long years, Adele is set to return with her new album 30 out tonight. Her album announcement leaked ahead of schedule. It's unclear what the tracklist is, but the record likely centers around her recent heartbreak. Adele was 30-years-old when she started recording for this record. Exhale, are you excited?! Happy April Fools
  3. This seems like fan fiction to me, but it's a collaboration I'd be very interested in hearing. Exhale, is this something you'd like to sink your teeth into? Sound off Related:
  4. 'Rolling in the Deep', the lead single and opening track off of Adele's second studio album '21', became a worldwide phenomenon selling over 20 million copies to date and remains as one of the best-selling digital singles of all time. The track received widespread critical acclaim and became a commercial breakthrough, propelling Adele to global superstardom. The song reached number one in TWELVE countries, including on the Billboard Hot 100 where it was number one for seven weeks. Rolling Stone Magazine placed the track at number one on their list of "50 Best Singles of 2011". Time Magazine named "Rolling in the Deep" one of the Top 10 Songs of 2011. MTV chose the song as their "Song of the Year". The Village Voice's Pazz & Jop annual critics' poll ranked "Rolling in the Deep" as the top single of 2011. In 2019, Rolling Stone Consequence of Sound, and Pitchfork ranked the song as the 3rd, 8th, and 171st best song of the 2010s, respectively. Additionally, Time Magazine named it as one of the 10 best songs of the 2010s and Billboard chose the song as one the 100 "Songs That Defined the Decade". Once again, happy 10 year anniversary to this CULTURAL RESET.
  5. Adele is getting some hate for her Africa skit on SNL. In it, she fantasizes over Africa, but does so through provocative innuendo. For example, her and her co-star thirst over black men. There's even a silhouette of a giant leaning palm tree in the background to symbolize, well... I can understand where the outrage comes from, but I also think the Internet is ready to drag her in a split second. Exhale, do you find the timing of this skit inappropriate considering what's going on in Africa? Related:
  6. Adele's appearance on Saturday Night Live gave the show a much-needed boost in the ratings. Via Showbiz411: What a wasted opportunity to promote new music though Did you guys watch it? I haven't seen anything yet minus the controversial skit.
  7. Adele is hosting Saturday night Live this weekend. H.E.R. is the performer, so it's unclear if she has new music on the horizon. A new promo video is out now. Thoughts?! Related:
  8. Adele confirmed during her appearance on SNL that the new album isn't finished. It unfortunately contradicts the buzz that she's releasing in November. Unless, she's either fooling us or just has a few finishing touches. It does seem a little strange she'd host SNL without music on the horizon, so I'm remaining optimistic (despite her literally saying it's not done yet lol). Exhale, thoughts? Do we believe her Related:
  9. Adele's new album will reportedly arrive in November. Fans stumbled upon some major clues on her official website. You may recall earlier this year, Adele said the record would arrive in September, but we're in October and still no word. In August, she said she lost the album. If she's going to pull a Riri and wait until the pandemic is over... Exhale, are you excited for Adele's new music? Related:
  10. Adele and Chris Brown reportedly spent time together at her home in London this weekend. The Sun has photographs of him there. He arrived at her home around midnight, and stayed until 2am. "It was all a bit cloak and dagger," the source says. "He arrived in the middle of the night and didn’t leave until around 2AM." Maybe they're collaborating on her new album? Thoughts, Exhale? Related:
  11. Adele says she doesn't know where her album is. The pop titan responded to someone's comment on Instagram on her most-recent post. Adele where' the album? "I honestly have no idea," she said. What does that even mean? It's all digital. She's playing with us it's never coming. Serving R9 teas. If you're not super annoyed, feel free to read a couple of other news items about Adele's forthcoming(?) album:

  15. Adele is reportedly working with John Legend and singer/songwriter/producer Raphael Saadiq. Saadiq has created hits for Joss Stone, D'Angelo, TLC, En Vogue, Kelis, Mary J. Blige, Ledisi, Whitney Houston, Solange Knowles and Legend. A source tells the The Mirror Adele “is pouring her heart and soul into this record, including how she feels post-divorce.” Adele said her album would arrive in September, something her manager recently shot down. My first thoughts? A collab between Adele and Legend could be legendary, but feels a tad too safe and predictable. Either way, I'm super thirsty for her new music. What do YOU think? Related:
  16. Earlier this year, Adele said her new album would drop in September. Well, a lot has gone down in 2020, and it appears that threw a wrench into the Grammy award winning singer's plans. Her manager confirmed the record won't arrive in September. “It isn’t coming in September, it’ll be ready when it’s ready,” he said. “We’re all in the same boat, you’re doing stuff and then all of a sudden, the world stops. It’ll come when it’s ready. I can’t put a date on that yet. We have music, but we’re still working.” 2020 strikes again. Related:
  17. Adele broke the Internet with her new skinny as a needle photo. It sparked some heated conversation. People were celebrating Adele's transformation - a 'you go girl!,' if you will. Others thought that implies if you're overweight you're less desirable / valuable. I personally feel like it's something to give props towards. It's hard to change your daily life to become healthier (assuming that's what she did). Adele is living her best life - why wouldn't we want to congratulate her? Plus the volume of likes and new followers shows how thirsty the GP is for her return to music. What do you guys think?
  18. I'm not a huge fan of chart and streaming data, but I AM a huge proponent of girl power. This is why everyone is like, WhErE's R9 Kinda surprised about Halsey. Anyone missing?

  20. Adele said at her best friend’s wedding party in February people can expect her fourth studio album in September. Her makeup artist just posted something hinting at her return... it could be sooner than we expected. "Exciting news coming soon!! Get ready to get on board,” he wrote. Imagine Adele releasing before Gaga
  21. There are new rumors that Adele is still planning to have a residency in Las Vegas. The rumors arrive at the same time as the Katy Perry residency buzz. The Sun reported that Adele will mot likely not tour for another 10 years as her son is starting school, and she wants to be around to see her son grow up. They are also reporting that Adele might consider a Las Vegas residency sometime in the future: All this to say, is Britney an undeniable trendsetter? Has her Vegas residency paved the way for artists to balance career and personal obligations? Can we unanimously say, "Britney, ha impact," if Adele does confirm a residency? Discuss.

  23. I hope Queen Adele is ok. Looks like she wasn't having a good convo on the phone, then blew up when she saw paparazzi were photographing that moment. And now I'm adding gasoline to the fire by sharing these pics making the rounds.
  24. Taylor Swift is undoubtedly a genius at not only songwriting and creating music magic, but also at marketing her music. She's sold more singles in the US in the last ten years than anyone else. And second place, which is Eminem, doesn't even come close. 1. Taylor Swift - 75M 2. Enimem - 63M 3. Rihanna - 62M 4. Katy Perry - 61M 5. Drake - 59M 6. Maroon 5 - 50M 7. Bruno Mars - 49M 8. Glee Cast - 43M 9. Justin Bieber - 42M 10. Adele - 41M This leads me to ask... are you a Taylor hater or Lover (pun intended). Let me know what you think in the comments.
