In 2009, Lady gaga dedicated her awards to God and the gays, saying without the gays, she would have no career. That statement is still true 12 years later as the gays are her biggest audience and she knows it. Even attitude and instinct and several press mags aimed at gay men, says while most audiences leave acts like Madonna, Gaga, Kylie and others The gays remain loyal as nobody understands them more than their one they called their queen.. So Lady gaga, said her Music career at this point is strictly for the gays, as they are the only ones that supported her before she became hugely popular..and that's the truth. Other audiences come and go, but we remain the loyal ones. @Jordan Miller @JayTawndre @Slayer

Remember the Alan Carr, Chatty Man Interview in 2013 when a collaboration between Britney and Gaga was hinted on the show, well according to BMI, the song is titled "Lady ***x". The project fell through due their different work schedules at the time. "Lady ***x" is a demo written by Eric Kingsbury and Sean Thomas and produced by Chet "JR" White. https://repertoire.bmi.com/Search/Search?SearchForm.View_Count=100&SearchForm.Main_Search=Title&SearchForm.Main_Search_Text=LADY+***X&SearchForm.Sub_Search=Writer%2FComposer&SearchForm.Sub_Search_Text=&SearchForm.Search_Type=all#

"My whole career, I’ve had ups, I’ve had downs. When you were talking about “Blade Runner,” I was thinking about my record “Artpop” and how they put out critiques before it even came out. Because of freedom of speech, people can write whatever they want, even if it’s lies, but years later, it’s one of my most critically acclaimed albums." NYTimes Critics of exhale, did her "Artpop" really mean something after all?

Taylor swift makes history as Fearless (Taylor's version) rebounds from 157 to number one, a record for a female artist. A friend (who I'm sure @CrazyButItFeelsAllright would love to meet) called Billboard out saying these pre orders after an album is out shouldn't count and should be disqualified, this is cheating, but I'm not surprised. Billboard will cater to a select few acts, while leaving others in the dust. For the first time since The Fame peaked at number two, Lady gaga had her consecutive string of number one albums end after Love For sale debuted at number 8. 2014's Cheek to Cheek debuted at number one and is her 3rd Chart topper (no matter what people say, Billboard makes the rules), its however number one on the jazz albums charts Gaga's second and Tony's record breaking 16th chart topper on that chart. The album is eligible for next year's Grammys as the cassette album was issued on the 30th of September, the cut off date. @Jordan Miller @Prachi @Blackout2006

I've been listening to Love For Sale a lot this weekend. I have such special memories of Cheek To Cheek - meeting both Gaga and Mr. Bennett backstage, interviewing Gaga, Gaga telling me jazz is the original form of pop music and recognizing BH's importance... such a magical thing to look back on. This new clip brought a tear to my eye. Tony hadn't said Gaga's name in a long time, but on stage he felt inspired. I know there's some controversy surrounding whether Tony should be on stage - this was his last show and it was a really spectacular moment, so let's keep this topic as high vibe as possible please.

I have lately been nostalgic about my life 10 yrs ago. (idk if its cause of covid but still) For me: I was still in high school, had a good amount of bffs and was a mega fan girl of 1D and Justin Bieber (still like him) I also liked Nicki Minaj, RIhanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and of course Britney. I had good grades and also was more closer to my family than I am now. Life seemed alot more simple and happier than now but then again, like I said, it can be the nostalgia talking cause of the virus. But anyways what about u guys? Im curious to know what were u like 10 years ago. Were on Exhale as well? I'd love to see your answers

The iconic bop released September 26, 2008 turns thirteen today. "Poker Face" which became a staple in Gaga's career was the best selling single of 2009 worldwide and is certified Diamond in the US. Exhale, do have any special memories with this song? In other Gaga news, her and Cher at the ‘Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ opening gala.

A day like today, but 13 years ago, Lady Gaga released her debut studio album. The one that started her pop dominance. I personally love this record. I remember seeing some 'LaDy GaGa' featuring Akon in YouTube and thinking to myself: "so whoever she is thinks is gonna be successful with that name" Since it kept popping, I decided to give it a chance... the rest is history. I want to run down the tracklist and give my opinion on each song. Just Dance (feat. Colby O'Donis & Akon): What a smash, I still get turnt up whenever I hear it. The bridge alone makes me quake. What happened to Colby and Akon, btw? LoveGame: probIably my favorite one in the record. I was desperate for it becoming a single. I think she could've done a better music video but I am not complaining. Paparazzi: what a bop. Gaga referred to fame as if she were thirsty for it back in the day. It's really interesting to see how her perspective has changed. The music video is a masterpiece. Poker Face: and the real slayage began here. The beat, the vocals, the music video, the Great Danes in the music video, the looks, the mu-mu-mu-mah... everything was iconic. Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say): this song deserved a lot more, it's cute, catchy, and the music video is an aesthetic serve. Beautiful, Dirty, Rich: I never could get into this one The Fame: another bop, guitars slap in this one... all we care about is ****ographic girls on filming body plastic Money Honey: back in the day, I really enjoyed this song. I don't come back to it as much now. Starstruck (feat. Space Cowboy & Flo Rida): a bit dated, I mean, it featured Flo Rida. The song is a bop, though. Any Space Cowboy enthusiasts here? He was pretty cool. Boys, Boys, Boys: why in the world this wasn't a single?! It would have been a monster hit. Such a fun song... the line "let's go see The Killers and make out in the bleachers" makes me transcend Paper Gangsta: a bit of the odd one in the album in my opinion. It's a cool track, I liked how it had its little cameo in the Telephone music video. Brown Eyes: I love this one. When I heard it I thought that it'd be great to see her in the future with this type of ballads. She delivered. I Like it Rough: another of my early favorites. Just as with Money Honey, I don't go back to it as much. Summerboy: just like Brown Eyes, she sounds more organic here, I loved the guitars and the melody. Pretty cool song. Disco Heaven: 2020/2021 vibes anyone? How about you? Do you like this album? Which songs do you still visit?

Olivia Rodrigo says Lady Gaga is the best performer of our generation. “I love Lady Gaga. I think she’s like, the best performer of our generation. Just like, watching her on the piano is just incredible and so magical.” Y'all know I'm a Britney and Gaga stan so feeling all sorts of ways about this. No denying Gaga is legend status though

I recently had a conversation with my friend who is a Taylor stan about Gaga vs Taylor Swift discography. I am an admitted Gaga Stan since 2009 but I was able to say I prefer to listen to Taylor's discography more often. I find Taylor's discography more listenable from start to finish, melodically, etc. It is an easier listen. There are a few Gaga albums that are largely unlistenable to me (some of Artpop & Joanne), but there are some major Gaga tracks that go much "further" on impact than anything Taylor has ever put out, such as Bad Romance, Edge of Glory, Rain on Me, Shallow, etc etc etc, that make up for this shortcoming. Though I mostly prefer Taylor's discography as a whole, I am still a Gaga over Taylor stan because of Gaga's vocal ability, constant advocacy for LGBTQIA+ for her entire career, personality, strong and provocative songwriting, etc. I believe Gaga has built a much stronger legacy/impact than Taylor as of now. What do you think? Is there even a comparison to be had between the two? What is Taylor's legacy vs Gaga?

Tony Bennett's son and manager, Danny announced that last week's sold-out shows alongside Lady Gaga in New York will be his last shows. “There won’t be any additional concerts,” Danny Bennett told Variety. “This was a hard decision for us to make, as he is a capable performer. This is however doctors’ orders. His continued health is the most important part of this, and when Tony’s wife, Susan, heard the doctors she said, ‘Absolutely not.’” The 95-year-old singer was revealed earlier this year to have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2016. He was supposed to perform more shows later this year, but they had all been cancelled. “It’s not the singing aspect but rather the traveling,” said Danny Bennett. “He gets tired. We don’t want him to fall on stage, for instance. We’re not worried about him being able to sing. We are worried, from a physical standpoint … about human nature. Tony’s 95.”” His album with Lady Gaga 'Love For Sale' is still coming out in October. I am glad that his health has been prioritized in this case, and I hope he gets to live a happy and healthy life. So much respect for this legend, who has performed for so many decades.
