Hello Britney fans! I used to frequent this forum years ago but lost my old credentials, so here I am. I've always been a huge Britney fan, so when I stumbled upon this news at work, I thought I'd share it with all of you. I work in the marketing department for a streaming platform in Warsaw (it's neither Spotify nor Apple Music, just to clarify). A couple of months ago, among the upcoming releases from Sony (which distributes RCA releases here in Poland), I spotted something from Britney Spears titled "Britney 25: The Silver Collection". We didn't receive any more info about it, indicating it's not a major release. I meant to share this with you months ago but forgot, until today when we received an updated list including a title "Britney 25 - One More Time, The Silver Collection". They've slightly changed the title, and the release is scheduled for June. We haven't received any assets yet and usually we get dedicated emails and even meetings from labels for major releases, so I guess this will be a collection for fans or something along those lines. Not sure if you guys are already aware of it, and if you are, sorry for not checking. If not, I hope it excites you. I'll keep you posted should I get more info!

Idk about yall but this song was SO POPULAR in my surrounding world at the turn of the new Millennium! It almost went top 10. I remember hearing it everywhere, people at school loved it, it was all over TRL. It was the "slow skaters" song at my local skating rink for months! Why is this song so forgotten??? It even got left off of the GHMP album. Wtf??? What memories do you have of this beautiful bop?

Today Billboard released a Ranking: βThe 100 Greatest Songs of 2004β and placed βToxicβ at #1! 1. Britney Spears, "Toxic" The addictive love that Britney Spears describes in βToxicβ could easily translate to the habit-forming song itself. βThereβs no escape, I canβt wait/ I need a hit, baby, give me itβ: To hear βToxicβ once is to need to hear it again β immediately. Is it the high-pitched strings from Bloodshy & Avant? Or the venomous lyrics from the Swedish production duo alongside Cathy Dennis and Henrik Jonback? Or maybe the cheeky superspy-spoofing music video? (Itβs impossible to hear this song without immediately picturing Spears in a futuristic blue flight-attendant uniform.) Whatever it is, the In the Zone earworm infected everyone within its reach, as it topped Billboardβs Pop Airplay and Dance Club Songs charts (as well as our staffβs own Best Britney Spears Songs list). It earned Spears her first, and so far only, Grammy (for best dance recording). And even Jay-Z chose it as his favorite Britney song in a random 2013 Twitter Q&A (βjamming my Gβ). The songβs most enduring legacy, though, might be its whiplash-inducing range of covers, from Local Hβs rocker, to The Chapin Sistersβ folk version, to Mark Ronsonβs ODB-featuring hip-hop spin, to, naturally, a cappella takes from both the Pitch Perfect franchise and Glee (twice). What all the above endorsements add up to is that βToxicβ has seemingly become Spearsβ most universally beloved song, using her already-established superpowers (the unmistakable breathy vocals, her magnetic onscreen presence and flawless choreography) and adding an electronic pop sound that put a legend who could have been forever linked to the β90s instead at the forefront of top 40βs new frontier. The results were anything but toxic, but they were still definitely lethal. β K.A.

I went to a party where the DJ was playing The Hook Up and I'm Slave 4 U. The Hook Up was JUST PLAYING when I entered the room, so I was just warming up. And for Slave I couldn't do the complete/full movements of the song because it was really small room and lots of people, however I gave my blood for this lol, that was my moment. It was the peak of the party, for me. Tbh, it was one of the only good moments of the whole night. Have you gone to a party and danced your S off to a Britney's song now in this post end of conservatorship era - or whatever we can call this era for Britney fans, lol? Tell me your moments, darling.

While swifties are praising the Aaron Dessner Anthology side. It should be noted Jack Antonoff is getting dragged and destroyed by swifties. They just wanted to dance, a carefree album for summer time. However. JACK GAVE them the Lana del rey sound again, because it should be noted While Lana is successful, she isn't really mainstream successful as she's not a person you find on the hot 100, or doing arenas but small intimate theaters, her Coachella set wasn't really praised.. But yeah their tired of Taylor playing the Lana del rey cosplay cos Lana isn't clicking with the general public the way Taylor swift is, and Jack knows this to well,so he wants an artist to make the Lana formula mainstream acceptable..
