  1. I thought posting this would be interesting and possibly insightful to a Britney Demo teased by Jordan Miller. Contagious is a song that had “many lives”. Written by K-Young, who wrote Untouchable with Britney for her In The Zone album. It was shopped for Britney but eventually was recorded by Leighton Meester. Leighton’s entire album was shelved. However she did a song titled Lights Out with JR Rotem. Which I believe Jordan said was the producer of Lights Out if I remember correctly. So @Jordan Millerif you see this, I’d like to know. Are these lyrics in the demo of Lights Out you have? ”Don’t Turn The Lights Out, I Bet You Like To Watch” Britney Spears - Contagious (Demo by K-Young) [Circus Demo]

  3. Britney's Baby One More Time is now Britney's 1st solo track/single to hit 900M views on You Tube, 2nd track if we count S&S The video has been gaining over 100 million views a year for 4 consecutive years now. 4. A few weeks ago I chatted with David Frank. I found out the Distracted by I5 was pitched for Britney. And I wrongly assumed that there was a recording session set up for Dream’s He Loves U Not, as it was reported to have been on hold for Britney. The recording session was actually for Eden’s Crush’s You Know I Can. As for He Loves U Now, writer Pam Sheyne has done several interviews claiming it was written specifically for Dream and it came out really fast. Writer Steve Kipner had revealed years ago it was in fact on hold for a “major artist”. We have confirmed with David that He Loves You Not was in fact on Hold for Britney and not recorded by but pitched to I5. We have also debunked a Britney recording of Asking For Trouble. Which was written by Per Magnusson & Jörgen Elofsson btw. So the 4 known songs intended for Britney’s Oops! Album are You Know I Can (Eden’s Crush, Distracted (I5), He Loves U Now (Dream) & Girl Next Door (Lucy Street) We is my team and they’re all amazing❤️ credits: Alex (debunked a Britney recording of Asking For Trouble with Per Magnusson) True (confirmed a failed recording session for You Know I Can) Max (confirmed He Loves U Not was on hold for Britney) biggest thanks to David Frank for being so open with us❤️ Eden’s Crush - You Know I Can (Britney Spears Reject) [OIDIA Reject] Britney Spears - Distracted (Reject by I5) [OIDIA Reject] Dream - He Loves U Not (Britney Spears Reject) [Oops!... I Did It Again Reject] Lucy Street - Girl Next Door (Britney Spears Reject) (OIDIA Reject)
  5. Ellie Goulding's Lights album has so many early 2010s bops. Tbh Lights, Femme Fatale and LOUD are an early 2010s Trinity. Have you listened to this album lately? Do you feel nostalgic about it?
  6. She's serving vocals. Seriously, what a smash! Loooooooove There's also a music video but is a mess
  7. As of March 17th, Blackout has 9/15 songs with over 10 million streams on Spotify! This puts Blackout right behind Glory which has 14/23 songs with over 10 million streams. Also, Blackout is just 9m streams away from hitting 1 billion streams, it has its own thread. Next song from Blackout to hit 10 million mark is Ooh Ooh Baby which is at 9,3 million. Then it's Heaven on Earth. Chartmasters can go finger themselves for writing Blackout was deemed a failure. The numbers are getting better and better. Ask Get Back! STREAM BLACKOUT FOR CLEAR SKIN! 8. Since the man's literally a ped****e I'll make this one brief but basically in a copyright listing made up by 17 discs worth of Kelly's music, there's a track titled "CR 12-30-09 (Gorgeous) (042910) with no Britney" Since literally every other track features some kind of vocal and this one says "mix with no vocal" instead of just demo or pitch, it's safe to assume she actually recorded this one most likely under false pretenses (Not that she had any control about her career at this point anyway) It's also worth pointing out that while it just says Britney, so technically it could literally be any singer or writer like Britney Bereal, Jive's urban division kept trying to make another collaboration happen as in 2007 he told the Guardian he had been asked to write for her and in 2011, two years after this song was made, he literally made a TTWE duet remix with Jive's blessing
  9. end of 90s - early 2000s. Simply the best female popstar eras happened (lets just ignore the 1980s for once)!!! Madonna: Ray of light, Music, confessions, confessions tour, Britney: BOMT, Oops, Britney, ITZ Kylie: Light years, Fever, Bodylanguage, ULTIMATEKYLIE Cher: Believe Celine Dion: Lets talk about love, a new day has come, one heart Shania Twain: Up Mel C. , Björk, ,,, Honorable mentions: Ciara: Goodies Beyonce: Dangerously in Love The perfect storm (someone´s Eras tours could neva)...
  10. Speed Seduction is an unreleased song from Britney’s In The Zone album recently talked about by Lauren Christy. Recorded in same sessions as Shadow. She even said if she had to pick one of the several tracks they did to have been included on a deluxe edition she would’ve picked the track. Another unreleased she mentioned was a track called “Drama Mama”. While Britney’s version hasn’t surfaced. Another version by Angel Faith has👇 Britney Spears - Speed Seduction (Reject by Angel Faith) [In The Zone Reject] i have to make a correction with the oops info. From my conversation with David Frank I assumed the recording session was for he loves u not, because it was on hold with Britney. But I stand corrected, and there is a third David Frank song. Will update later❤️
  11. I've been meaning to make this thread for a long time now and while I don't expect anyone here to have any real insight, I'm sure at least someone will find this interesting Basically, I was going through old magazine scans one day and I found this interview where she mentions Girls and Boys being the song she's most excited about on In the Zone which at this point was at least a month ahead of its release I thought it was interesting she mentioned a track that was only ever released as a B-side in Europe so I decided to search all the times the song had been mentioned around the time of the album's release date and I found two different reviews which mention Girls and Boys being part of the album Perhaps more interesting of all, is this NYT piece written during the filming of the ABC special which reveal which other songs did and didn't make the cut amongst other things Taking all that into account, as well as this Billboard article published in September which mentions her co-writing 7 instead of the final 8 track on the album, the working tracklist most likely included the following songs Boom Boom Brave New Girl Breathe on Me Early Mornin' Everytime Girls and Boys Me Against the Music Outrageous Shadow Touch of My Hand Considering how she fought for Toxic to be released as a single and has since referred to The Hook Up as one of her favourite songs, it's entirely possible Showdown wasn't originally part of the tracklist and was only added once Girls and Boys was cut While this is all very nice, something about this whole story doesn't really make sense. You see, the way albums were released back then, the tracklist had to be decided on months ahead of the album's release date so the album could be mastered, pressed and shipped to every country to meet its release window, (There were rumours around this time Jennifer Lopez angered her label when she decided to change the name off one of the songs on her album once it had already been sent to be pressed) so the fact that the album had a totally different tracklist less than a month before it was released doesn't add up To add further confusion, Linda Perry actually knew ahead of the time the song wasn't going to make to the cut. so what's going on here exactly? Honestly I have no idea The way I see it, Jive gave the press either an outdated tracklist or a promo disc featuring said tracklist and forgot to tell them it had been changed
  12. I've made an attempt at this before, but I feel like this is a much better one. I discovered this song years ago and honestly feel like it might be a Blackout outtake as it contains a lot of the same producers/writers and its from around that era. Let me know what y'all think! I really tried to mimic Blackout/Gimme More's vocal production. The AI is a blend of Kelly Rowland/Jamie Foxx's version and I kept a lot of their vocals in as backing vocals. I love the male vocals/heavy vocoder used on vocals in Blackout. Wanted it to echo those effects
  13. The first Britney album to do so! But you know Toxic is like 90% of the streams. Still, a nice milestone for a 21 year old album! Gains at least 1.2M a day!
  14. And so is the video for “You Love Who You Love” I quick listen and it’s an easy album to listen to, I like Ammunition, More Than This, Soundtrack and Healing. I’ll listen better tomorrow. I can’t get over On My Love yet
  15. Please? Please? Please? someone said Ariana Grande has an aura that reminds Britney Spears charisma in the 2000s And yeah it's true they should totally meet for something!
