  1. There are different types of rehearsals........This was clearly just to get used to the stage, it wasn't to get notes for the performance and then edit, which was happening at the VMAs. Plus, VMAs was at the beginning of her career, and a very intricate routine. She had to hit certain marks for the lighting, the costume rips, and the playback that would come in, and it had to be perfect. It was also earlier in her career, and comparing VMAs in front of that audience and live TV (and that point in time VMA was massive live TV event) to the Rain nightclub is not even considerable. Most rehearsals the performers are never meant to go full out, they conserve their energy. It's just to make sure all marks are correct for the size of the stage, the audio is right, she can hear the playback to the level she wants, etc etc.
  2. It's funny when divorce happens because something is "too much". Why do people get married in America then? They could have just stayed engaged. You get married and you make vows to protect and care for that person, in sickness and in health. So, if this were true, Sam knew what he was getting in to since they were together for years, and it's his job as her husband to stand by her and help her get in a healthy mental state - Not leave when it gets hard after only one year of marriage.
  3. Her team experimenting with different ways to have her sound like she's singing live. At this point in her career, Britney still didn't have as bad a reputation for lip-synching that she does today. "She's" (the vocals) are not out of key, the entire song is pitched down, including the music. Some people think it's live since it sounds like her natural deep voice, so her team clearly had a good strategy. Some people also believe the entire OIDIA tour wasn't pre-recorded. ;)
  4. If Britney were to have actively promoted it (media appearances and attending the premiere) it would have lasted longer. A musical attached to a star's catalogue needs the star's power to perform. I saw the show, I thought the storyline was smart and cute, the demographic is definitely young children + adult britney fans LOL, but the general public wouldn't really get anything from it, esp non-Britney fans. So it has a limited life span. I thought the choreography was appalling and I was EXTREMELY disappointed in it, they had the chance to revive Britney's prime dancing in tribute and they failed miserably ... It was like her current instagram dancing. I do see it possible being very successful as a tour, where they only need to do 2-3 shows in each city -- it can have a very long life with that, and perhaps in the UK where the theaters are smaller and there's less competition. &JUlIET was a huge success and probably pulled a lot of potential audience members.
  5. Not alleged, it's true. I went to the finale, I sat right behind her and Demi. Literally, her bodyguard came up, tapped her, she opened her hand, and he put medication in it before filming began. At one point, during a commercial break, she was so out of it, that after Mario (And / or Khloe, at that time, hahahaha) paused the filming for the commercial and to setup for the next scene, everyone left the stage, including her talent, and she just stood there, like a deer in headlights. The bodyguard then walked over to her and es***ted her off the stage. It was SO SAD and SO TRAGIC and I hope she rips them all in this book. Demi was actually sweet, so no haters. During commercial break she'd say to the PA: "Can I please have a coffee? I'm sooo tired." Britney was probably pissed at that. ^^ Really tragic what happened to her and I hope she gets her justice.
  6. I've written my opinion on this before in other variations of threads on her voice TLDR: I am positive her voice is damaged. She used to force her voice and her technique was never solid for long live performances. From her pre-prime years of actually singing the majority of her stuff life with improper technique while dancing, she could've damaged her vocal cords over time (Similar to Mariah Carey, that's why she sounds different than her prime now). That's why you hear the progression change from albums. Then her focus became more on dancing, and she didn't sing at all. So, it's pretty cool she's singing live and sharing it with us. It's something her audience has been deprived of basically since 2003 when she performed on SNL with live vocals for ITZ / Every time. It will be interesting to see if she addresses this in the book. Or perhaps she'll drop some bombshell about Team Con and her voice, or not being able to sing live. Who knows! But she would definitely benefit from lessons to gain her skills back, I don't think they are permanently lost.
  7. So disgusting. Unfortunately he is not old enough to make intelligent decisions, he is very young, and obviously heavily influenced by what's around him at the Federlines. Even worse that Britney was able to be manipulated into this con because of her kids, she endured improvement for so long because they were used as a pawn and they don't even know that or have any thanks for what she did for them
  8. ALSO HOW DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT DURING THE CONSERVATORSHIP SAM WOULD HAVE HAD TO WALK A VERY FINE LINE BETWEEN BRITNEY'S CAMP AND WHAT HE WOULD HAVE REALLY WANTED TO BE ABLE TO DO WHEN HER FATHER COULD HAVE REMOVED HIM FROM HER LIFE AT ANY POINT? DID YOU NOT HEAR BRITNEY SPEAK ABOUT HOW IN 2016 SHE GAINED HER STRENGTH BACK? AND STARTED TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE CONSERVATORSHIP? THAT IS WHEN SHE MET SAM!!!
  9. IF YOU DON'T SUPPORT BRITNEYS CHOICE OF HUSBAND THEN YOU DON'T SUPPORT HER. PERIOD. IF YOU WANT TO DISGUISE IT AS PRETENDING TO BE A "CONCERNED" FAN THEN YOU ARE DELUSIONAL - THAT MEANS YOU BELIEVE YOU KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR BRITNEY, OVER HERSELF, AND THAT SHE IS INHERENTLY DISPOSED TO UNDUE INFLUENCE, AND NOT SMART ENOUGH TO SEE THROUGH THINGS, PEOPLE, OR USE HER OWN INTUITION. THIS IS NO BETTER THAN THE PEOPLE THAT GASLIT HER FOR YEARS BECAUSE THEY BELIEVED THEY TOO KNEW BETTER THAN HER, AND THUS SHOULD CONTROL HER. YOU ALSO HAVE NO CLUE HOW THE LEGAL SYSTEM IN THE USA WORKS, IT IS SO EXTREMELY SLOW TO GET JUSTICE SAM IS ALSO AN ACTOR OF COURSE HE IS TALKING TO TMZ AND PLAYING NICE MOST OF THE TIME, SAME AS PARIS HILTON DOES, SOMEONE WHO BASICALLY BUILT HER FAME AROUND BEING NICE TO PAPARAZZI. HIS POST IS ALSO DIRECTED AT SO MANY OTHERS THAN JUST TMZ. THE LACK OF CRITICAL INTELLIGENCE ON THIS FORUM IS ASTOUNDING
  10. Most interviews aren't vetted beforehand. Only TEAM CON did this with Britney to maintain control of the narrative - that's why that MTV host would refuse to interview Britney. Britney was such a big star so, people were willing to go along with it, even though it goes against journalistic norms/ethics. A real journalist doesn't give their questions "for approval" in advance and most artists, aside from Britney, didn't require this.
  11. I can't see what you were trying to quote me on, because the section you quoted isn't in my post. My posts might trigger people because I state my OPINION and back it up with FACTS and EXAMPLES. Most people on this forum state their opinion only and believe that to be God's word. Sooo... That would make my posts actually the very opposite of childish and uneducated, because I take the time to craft my messages and add supporting statements rather than, just typing what's on my mind and opinion without any thought. Unfortunately, just like in school, if you are in a forum, which is supposed to encourage discussion and healthy debate, you are supposed to state facts + supporting evidence, just as if you were writing an essay. If you believe I sound *above everyone* that's your perception of me that you are projecting, as you can't sound like anything via text ... It depends on your interpretation and the meaning and tone you are ascribing to the person in your OWN mind. ^ And a statement like that is based on education and experience, so I'd argue, again, not childish. Disagreeing isn't childish. Stating facts isn't childish. It's only when you are unable to budge from your opinion and admit when you are wrong that it's childish, which is like a large majority of this forum, ... and Trump supporters. EX: I could be laughing and saying all of this jovially on my end, but you could be reading it as condescending as cold. It's your own perception, which is a perception, which is based on stories from your past that your subconscious is programming into your present environment. <3
  12. Responses like this are why I want to leave this forum... Y'all have no critical thinking skills. SHE didn't bring up Xtina. The interviewer did. She answered his question politely, and then at the end basically schooled him and said "this is an OLD story why y'all still taking about it?" She's not bitter. She's not using Xtina's name. She's literally on a press tour doing her JOB. Y'all forget this is a JOB and a BUSINESS they have to do the press tours, they have to answer questions, the interviewer is going to dig for drama so the interview will get clicks just like this thread has provided... smh
  13. I created this account to follow the Free Britney movement and I want to delete it now because I don't find this style of forum to be healthy, I think BH was much better when Jordan was writing the content, can someone help me do this? There isn't an option in settings.
  14. Rihana had portions of the SB that were live, and other parts that were tracked. If you had a trained ear, you would hear this. And I don't expect the "entire world" to agree with me -- most people in the general public don't have trained ears. So it's safe to say most people are going to think the same thing, unless they are ACTUALLY experienced or in the industry... Your statement -- specifically about how they should "just play the record in that case" in regards to sounding live -- just shows you're an amateur in whatever you're claiming to do, because you would never make a statement like that if you were making money in the professional recording industry for the following reason ... BRITNEY is the only relevant pop act that has recently done pre-records with the INTENTION of sounding imperfect and borderline "BAD". (3 on Femme Fatale Tour? Yuck.) Decisions like that were made by herself and her team because there was already so much controversy regarding her dancing and singing live, and Britney did NOT sing live after BOMT. As I ALREADY stated, the entire OIDIA tour was pre-recorded *YES* to sound live, because they wanted to avoid the lip-synching controversy, hence why her rehearsals were recorded from the mic live feed and then she lipsynched/sang along to them so she could focus on dancing. Most vocal artists that pre-record, such as JLO and Beyonce don't want to sound "bad". They want it to sound close to the record, but not pitch-corrected perfection and "glossy". IE you will hear their vibratto* more when it is live. But they're not going to sound BAD on purpose, it's just meant to sound not as polished ... Because let's be real, the only pop artist in the past decades that truly sounds super different than their own CD live is Britney... Most artists, even Taylor, and Madonna, both who, I don't like their voices, sound closer ... As most pop vocal production, it's highly layered and glossed when it comes to the album-version. As I ALREADY stated, the only pop artist currently that sounds like her album vocals, is ARIANA*. Even GAGA, who is phenomenal, sounds more "rough" live. But when they are going to go through the painful process of mixing live vocals and pre-record, it's going to be ONE or the OTHER, not both mixed together. I'm pretty sure any vocal coach or singer that studies Seth Riggs methodology, and/or anyone that sings LIVE on Broadway day after day, using speech-sing technique would disagree with your statement regarding KP. KP has quite good technique for a POP star. Her voice matches her speaking voice and as such is an extension of such. Someone like Christina, for instance, sings with completely horrible and forced technique. BTW - if you are older than me cool ... The point was, your response was childish in regards to "what are you on"?. Clearly, we have different perceptions, and no amount of back and forth is going to change that. I stand behind my experience, trained ear, and friends that I have in these industry circles that back up everything I have said. So far you haven't provided any detailed facts, or reasoning that justify your statements .... You've just stated WhAt U ThInK. I think the fact that I have responded so many times to both you and glitter rain with extensive details yet y'all just keep replying with your opinion speaks for itself so I'm done here... So we can agree to disagree, peaaaaace.
