  1. Hello, I'm Paula, a portuguese Britney fan and diretor of a digital magazine called Humanamente (humanely in english). In May of last year I started what will be a Beloved... series with Britney, I explained how she impacted my life for the better and how I saw myself in some of her struggles (I have bipolar disorder). The article may be a little old but I invite you all to read and meditate as it comes from the kindest places of my heart: Beloved Britney - Revista Humanamente HUMANAMENTE.PT I became a fan of Britney Spears when I was 12 years old and saw the music video of “Baby one more time” on my tv. So many of you can relate, right? I bought the album soon after and played it... Thank you. Kisses
  2. Thank you! I was just trying to describe my overall journey as a fan
  3. Hello my name is Paula, I'm the diretor of a digital magazine in Portugal called Humanamente (Humanely in english). I just wrote an essay/think piece about our dear Britney Spears. I would be extremely grateful if you could read it and give me your feedback. The link is the following: Beloved Britney - Revista Humanamente HUMANAMENTE.PT I became a fan of Britney Spears when I was 12 years old and saw the music video of “Baby one more time” on my tv. So many of you can relate, right? I bought the album soon after and played it... Thank you. Greetings
  4. Hello everyone I just read this essay about Britney that I think is very on point and enlightening. It talks about the difficulty for female artists to control their own narratives and also speaks about Beyoncé, Rihanna and Taylor Swift, with the main focus being Britney. I haven't seen it being shared here so I will just post the link: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2021/feb/19/britney-spears-pop-beyonce-taylor-swift-rihanna I hope you enjoy it. Share your thoughts! Much love, Paula
  5. @AmorProhibido Thank you so much for such kind and encouraging words, it was one of the sweetest feedbacks I ever had and it made my day I have a demo song with instrumental in my channel called "Moonlight". I also have "Quarantine", "Your soul", "Amazing" and "Bad in my skin" which are a capella. I have written so many songs and crafted the vocal melodies, literally thousands, I even thought of doing a capella album but I think people would get bored after a while, I really don't know. Your support really means a lot to me. If you enjoy them please consider subscribing to my channel. I will try to keep them coming in any way that I possibly can. @princessmimi I loved your song lyrics, they are poignant and hauntingly beautiful Keep writing your heart out! @bryceecyrb I loved your lyrics as well, love really hits hard when we're seventeen doesn't it? They were really moving and coming from a deep place. It would be great to read more from you. Have a lovely Saturday! Kisses**
  6. Thank you for your kind words, you are very sweet I understand that feeling so well, I've been writing for a really long time but only recently I started sharing my work in a public way. It takes a while to overcome insecurities and be exposed to the opinion of others. But I'm glad you felt ready to share these two beautiful pieces xD
  7. This is another beautiful song Axatc, I love your tone, very poetic Oh sorry, my kudos for AmorProhibido, I don't come here very often, I got confused lol
  8. Hello Alxatc I really liked the lyrics to your song, very touching and they seem pretty heartfelt. Good job Keep going!
  9. I really liked this song, I really can see it as pop smash Well done Crazybutitfeelsalright! I'm sharing with you today a very personal song that I wrote and I that I posted singing a capella on my youtube. It's called "Bad in my skin" and it's about feeling at war with your body and mind. I really hope you like it. Any feedback would be very much appreciated. The lyrics are in the description of the video. Thank you very much for your attention. Kisses** Paula
  10. Thank you so much for all the support Yes, I need to teach myself some digital studio stuff like Garage Band,.I will try it. soon. I have a song with an instrumental called "Moonlight" on my youtube channel but I still want to put some touches on it. I loved your lyrics "Howler Junkie", it sounds refreshing and new, I can definitely see it with a cool pop beat Thanks again for your kindness, really appreciated it. Kisses**
  11. Hello I'm a very prolific songwriter and have just published a book called "Heartbeat" on Amazon, which consists of poems and lyrics. I wanted to share you with you my song "Amazing", which is pretty passionate and intense. I wrote it when I was 23/24 years old and although I'm almost a decade older now it still ressonates with me in a way. "AMAZING" in the misty times In the darkest night I could feel your love Shining down so bright You give me hope to carry on That's why I don't care what they say anymore No one can see you like I do The best thing I ever had was you When I got you by my side I knew I could never want a man more in my life CHORUS This feeling you bring is so amazing That I just gotta, got to let it show And when you're touching me it makes me crazy And I just wanna, want you to know That boy I love you so From the first moment, the very first word You became my second skin, your heart became my blood To have you was all I could think of I didn't rest until I got you once and for all You have seen me at my best You have seen me at my worst Yes, you're not only down for the good rides You're in every single one CHORUS If I can have you I will have the strength I won't let the pain of the world get to me, not a chance Never thought I could love in this way But I can see God's brilliance as long as you stay CHORUS When you're touching me When you're holding me When you're with me When you're kissing me Boy you're moving me You are everything I need Everything to me In case you're wondering how this sounds like, I recorded an a capella version (I can't play any instruments yet sadly) on my youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVHU0mfD1uc I would love to hear your opinions! Thank you so much . Have a lovely and blessed day Paula**
