I remember someone saying they talked to Christopher Notes Olsens sister (maybe it was you @RedBloodedWomanIdk) and that she tried to look for the file throughout all of his laptops and stuff but couldn’t find anything. I went down the Rebellion blackhole multiple times before and throughout the pandemic and everytime I kept arriving at the same dead end lol, there just so much that we don’t know and that whole era is surrounded with so much speculation, weird conspiracy theories and straight up misinformation/ lies that I find it highly unlikely we’ll ever have concrete answers lol However I don’t think it’s extremely unlikely for her to release an unreleased compilation album akin to Mariah’s Rarities, since she loves to look back at old pictures and repost them + she clearly still remembers and enjoys some deep cuts like Lonely so I don’t put it past her to have at least considered a song she really liked that was never released However aside from her dislike of promotion keeping her from doing that, I also think logistically, it’s not likely Britney still has any of the actual files / discs of her songs lol, definitely not Rebellion, and while maybe her producers do, I really don’t see her going out of her way to contact JR Rotem or Pharrell / The Neptunes just to get a physical CD of Love To Love You / Hooked.

While i do agree that…It’s convenient that he just started this tour and how privileged he is to be able to simply “postpone” the tour like that despite having a lot of deals and such. However… i do think he is struggling with the tour. He’s talked a lot about having mental health issues in the past and since he hasn’t performed on tour like that since pre COVID….I think it was just too much for him. while I understand where a lot of people are coming from on this thread, I think y’all’s attitude is a little uncalled. Especially calling him bratty and ungrateful and entitled like???? it’s very true that professionalism is an important thing and “sucking it up” is an admirable thing to do, but not everyone can survive like that for long. And let’s cut the normal jobs comparisons convo cuz we are talking about a major concert world tour which is very different from your typical 9 to 5. A world tour multiple trips, constantly moving around. rehearsals, sound checks. A lot of pressure. And lots of performances and social interactions. For someone like Shawn who has talked a lot about having Anxiety in the past.. it makes sense he would feel this way. i don’t think he’s lying or using it as a crutch. and also……I think if he did continue the tour. And started to look noticeable tried and anxious and was not singing well live and looking “bad”, y’all would all be saving “he shouldn’t have gone on tour he should’ve cancelled” etc etc. I mean I feel like there’s a ton of artists who’ve had downfalls and issues because of touring, hell Britney herself did NOT want to tour in 2018 and even before she revealed that, we as fans could all tell because it was very obvious by her behavior and performances that she was not having it. (and then the maria thing happened lol) so if Britney had the power in 2018, to just be like “you know what no! fuc this tour im not doin this anymore” and postponed/canceled POM 2018? We all would have been supportive and haply that she was focusing on herself. and she had brand deals too, she would’ve probably gotten sued and she could’ve fought it but I digress and i know their two situations are very different but what if Britney had cited the same reason? For mental health reasons? then suddenly she gets away with it becasue she’s older and because the public has seen evidence that she’s had mental health issues??? i just think y’all should’ve have a *little* more empathy yeesh. yeah maybe it is too convenient but postponing a whole tour because tickets weren’t selling ? That’s kind of harsh. plus thats also kind of a dumb move to make and I doubt they’d do that cuz u lose more money by canceling dates instead of just performing shows even if the tickets aren’t really selling

Idk if this thread flopped but- im dying to heart what was going on behind the scenes during 2005-2006 a.k.a. “The beginning of the end” i feel like that’s the last missing puzzle piece that would put together the story of Britney’s life, in that it will give context of why and how she started spiraling in that time. I feel like that’s where the “tea” is gonna be (for lack of better words). That and also the lead up to spring 2019 I’m sure is gonna have some really nasty stuff too (as in nasty stuff that happened to her)

Okay I don’t want to sound rude but I really would like to see the proof/source because Mad Love has a very teenypop style that fits perfectly on self-titled and I just have a very hard time believing it was recorded in 2006 in the same era as Radar, Rebellion, Freakshow, 911, etc unless it WAS an outtake from self titled but then Brit considered releasing it kind of like how Look Who’s Talkin Now and Sippin On were definitely considered for Blackout either that or maybe it’s a different song with the same title as the one that does exist that is floating around Idk I just have never heard this thing about Mad Love being from 2006 and for Blackout/Circus because it’s always seen as a “Britney” outtake and it very much sounds like one but I did hear someone else say that producer did say that on Twitter so idk

Anyways I’m bumping this thread again cuz I feel like it so I think the re-release would’ve been a good idea just to create hype for the new era / her second comeback, they didn’t even need to promote it much tbh so here’s my plan another user here had the idea of releasing radar with an animated music video as well, as the continuation of break the ice and that’s honestly genius. So the animated music video gets released and hopefully the song would’ve gotten a chance on the charts Then around may it’s announced on her website that blackout re release will come out in august. I think this would’ve been a better date becasue June was too soon, but any later than august it would’ve gotten in the way of B6 era (circus) Then in July, the track list and cover is announced and it’s the blue dress version of the cover where she’s facing the side, and it’s a similar background to the original cover but it’s more cool toned. (There are a lot of fan made versions out there with the same concept so just visualize that) Here’s my ideal track list Radar Outta This World Love 2 Love U Pull Out 911 Hooked State Of Grace Baby Boy Let Go In my opinion these are the best outtakes from Blackout (that we’ve heard) and honestly I can see why they weren’t on the original album because most of them didn’t quite fit perfectly with the albums sound. Radar is the first track to get people to listen to the current single. I also think this would be great becasue it would be a perfect way for Let Go and State of Grace to be officially released (imo they’re some of Britney’s best work ever) Then after a month womanizer is released and then Circus era kicks off only thing I would change about the circus era is push album release back to January 2009. Give Out from Under a music video (it would’ve charted better than Amy idc what anyone including Britney has to say) also change the track list a lot and have more Blackout and Circus songs performed on circus tour. We really didn’t need a Bollywood performance of MATM or another lipped version of everytime (unusual you should’ve been performed there instead)

Mad Love was an outtake forom2001 self titled. The producer remembered wrong becasue he also said “Sacred” was recorded in 2006 as well even though there’s reports of it from 2001-2003

I feel like they should’ve done the re release anyway and then use it as hype for Circus I actually had a whole concept for the rerelease era that would lead into Circus release in early 2009 but yeah i think that overall a whole new era was definitely beneficial for Britney but i still think re releasing Blackout and finishing off the era in summer 2008 with Radar. Hmmm I’ve never heard that. I thought there was like a solid 3 month break in like spring of 2008 where she wasn’t doing much cuz she was literally in metaphorical but also literally prison (hence when Neyde was born lmao) I had always thought or heard that actual work of the album started in the summer which is why the album sounds kind of unfinished (because it literally is ; and it was rushed)
