When I refer to feelings, all I’m saying is that she didn’t say anything we didn’t know before. Even the ab thing was a rumor back then. But we didn’t know how she felt. regarding mental illness, I don’t know if she still suffers from depression or not, but having a depression doesn’t invalidate your feelings. As a mom still suffering a postpartum depression your comment seems very unfortunate, and this is the problem, the constant invalidation of her feelings.

As I stated in another thread, this book is not about facts, is about feelings, how she felt. Moreover, NO, taking out your basic rights is not a way to help with lawsuits or mental health. Help is being by her side during a hard time, giving advice if needed, supporting her, trying to talk to her and trying to understand her behavior and feelings, being empathic with her, give her the space she needed …

That’s because, as I see it, this book is not about revealing facts we didn’t know. After reading the book, I believe that what Britney intended to do was talking about her feelings, how she felt depressed, betrayed, etc.

I was super curious about original doll and rebellion as well and I wanted to read about it in the book. However, now that I think about it, I’m glad it wasn’t mentioned in the book so we can still need that mystery around it that makes it important/magical (I don’t know how to describe it) for fans (at least for me).

I haven’t received the book yet although I preordered it in July 🥲 However, I have listened to the audiobook and I’m heartbroken. I wanted to share with you something that has come up to my mind. A few years ago, Rosalia released the music video for her song Bagdad, Cry me a River is sampled in the song, however the video portrays Rosalia dressed as Britney (or that’s what I think). Now that I have read the book and we know how Britney felt about Justin’s breakup, it is weird how I feel like the lyrics of Bagdad, and what’s going on in the video, fit perfectly with what Britney was tells in the book (being depressed, etc). I don’t think Rosalia herself was aware of anything that I’m saying, and maybe I’m reaching, but I just wanted to share my thoughts with you 😂

I’ve just spent (wasted) two hours of my life trying to understand this mess. Some comments have been really helpful but I still don’t get it.

OK so I’m going to write my honest review about the song. The first listened I thought what is this is ****? I don’t like it. The second time I started to like it and once I listen to it a third time I could imagine myself going to the club and dancing to this anthem . It’s true that it’s not the best vocals of our Britney but I do think it’s Britney’s voice. I think the vibe and the beat the base of the song are quite good. The lyrics are not a masterpiece I like when she says shes the economy we know that many people is rich because of her. What I don’t understand is who are the dogs
