Did you actually keep track of her IG in realtime? Because some people did on another forum and her followers did go up again right after clarifying.

It went back up from 41.9M to 42.2M when she clarified that post so I doubt this is related to that. Probably just IG deleting bots.

I believe sending DMs on Instagram is more effective than tweeting. So many stations replied to me saying they love the song too and thanked me for the feedback. Some others said they just added it, will put it on rotation, or passed on my request to the DJ. It's a big plus when you look like a casual person rather than a dedicated fan account.
