This song is my favorite of the three so far. I just think it has the best melody and production. It stands out more. I think the video is good but slightly generic in its direction. I wanted them to be dancing during the night like the song says and have more lights and production. The choreography is good but everything is just slightly bland overall. However, it’s beautifully shot for sure. Nothing wrong with it per say. She has completely mastered dance music but is also becoming a little more middle of the pack. She needs a single and video that are “iconic”. I don’t think these songs are going to be remembered in time to come like some of her previous stuff. And unfortunately, her song Dance the Night song from Barbie has overshadowed these singles. Not a great sign for the album’s future success especially with Taylor and Billie coming very soon. I’m worried for her.

Easily Good Girl Gone Bad for me. For one, she probably wouldn’t be the huge star she is today without it. It also has her most iconic song, Umbrella. It’s still her best in my opinion. The whole album was a new direction for her and gave her a distinct style. All of the singles were memorable and great. It’s my favorite era.

I actually think Tate McRae… She’s had one of the best pop songs in recent memory and is only getting more popular. Her performance style evokes early 2000’s Britney and I think her voice would blend well with hers. I think it could be an interesting pairing. People are slowly getting tired of Taylor and the Ariana/Mariah collab didn’t make much noise. I also don’t want to see her with another rapper. If she didn’t do something with a bigger name like Beyonce, Tate would be an excellent choice for me. HOWEVER - I would very much like to see her comeback single be a powerful solo moment.

I mean, yeah, but it’s true. Justin Bieber is pretty much a version of Timberlake for this generation. I actually think it’d be cool to see Bieber on the album with him. And Gaga, especially earlier in career, definitely gave Madonna vibes. Very fair comparisons in my opinion.

Hard to explain how I feel about this song. I think it’s really good. It does sound like stuff I’ve heard before but it stands out still. Sounds current and dated at the same time. He sounds great, good as ever really. I feel like the production of this song is where he sounds best. Clean, modern pop with the slightest tough of r&b. If the whole album is like this I think it’ll be his best. It’s a simple song but it sounds nice. Just weird for a comeback. I like that it isn’t trying too hard like a lot of his more recent album stuff. Video is good to me. Modern and has star power and magic. The crawling through the tiny space is memorable and I really like how the final dance scene was shot and how it looks. Nothing spectacular but got the job done and could’ve been worse. Haven’t liked many videos lately. This is classic pure pop and much needed on the charts! Not sure how it’ll do. Could either smash or just have mid success. Very hard to tell with the Britney stuff. Also feel like he’s not very popular anymore since he’s been away so long. He’s gonna have to bring it with the album and remind everyone how good he is.

I actually think Anticipating is amazing haha. One of her best and most underrated songs. The melody and bridge are sooo good. I also really like Brave New Girl, it just doesn’t fit on that album to me. Feels like what some of the songs on her third album should of been. It’s so different from anything else and kinda cool to me.

I seriously have never understood Dear Diary. It’s sooo cheesy and embarrassing to me. I don’t see how she thought it was good and needed to be on this album. If anything, it sounds like it could be a forgotten reject from the first album.

It’s hard to say with her getting older. I can definitely see her as a Cher of sorts - releasing a mega single that revives her career and becomes a classic. Britney is an icon. An icon can always have success if they have the right song with the right production and possibly a great video. I would not ever count Britney out. If she wants it, she can have it.

It’s cool! I understand. She’s incredible for sure.

I feel like she has huge potential and is extremely talented, however, I don’t find any of her current songs memorable. Idk how to explain it but they sound almost “too current” and over processed or something. She obviously dances amazingly as well…she just needs more memorable choreography. The newest video is definitely a homage to early 2000’s and she kinda nailed it. More Xtina than Britney. I predict mage star status for her before long. She is doing things many aren’t.

Haven’t put Taylor down at all… I’ve mentioned she’s a great entertainer. Just comparing her to past biggest names in pop music. No hate towards her!

I mean, you made a statement about Britney and I was just defending my side…this is literally just fun discussion about pop artists. People can disagree. I was bored. Not trying to upset you. I’m actually 29 and have a graduate degree lol
