I recall the overall consensus on here when the album dropped that it was the wrong second single. It stood out to me on first listen of the album, as I go for that more pop sound. Think hallucinate from the future nostalgia crop. The more I’ve listened to it, the more I’ve got into it. I needed this song atm. Her vocals are stunning on it. Well deserved. fyi, I tend to listen to the Saturn returns interlude into we can’t be friends. I know I’m lame.

The fact this was posted is a bit concerning. Surely you guys can all see that she’s been pasted into that photo? Even when you try not to look for it, it’s just blatantly obvious. What in the actual hell.

It’s fake af. Honestly, it’s incredibly obvious. I’m often one to sit back and watch the drama unfold in these threads and not be bothered to interact. But maaaaaaaaate, this is a cheap attempt.

Tbh I have had a bad feeling the last few weeks about it all. As much as everyone pulls her apart and raves on about how she is ‘tarnishing’ her legacy… I really don’t care, it’s somewhat a relief when she posts something. NO ONE HAS WALKED IN HER SHOES. So please people, just let her be.

I really like it!!!! That said I really like Single Soon also, but I see most of you don’t. What I like about Love On is how she sounds and looks confident. Like she actually believes in what she’s doing?!? I LOVE Revival and Rare. Stars Dance I see you tooooooo. I hope she keeps making music beyond this era.

Original is far better. Mariahs addition to the song gives it nothing. Which is just bizarre given how amazing it could be…! wrong song I guess.

I think she did really well!!!!!! Houdini sounds amazing live… When she wasn’t focused on hitting the right note, she slapped. So stfu that the performance was boring.

Has she really retired though? Perhaps she’s retired from the Vegas Britney, the touring Britney etc…. But c’mon.

Next. I just don’t find her authentic. Never have, never will. She has one album i genuinely like and that is Reputation. Like… I feel she genuinely wanted to make a quality darker pop album after 1989. The rest feel like rehashes or desperation to achieve achieve achieve. She’s talented and has some great songs!!! I’m not disregarding that. But the incessant Taylor’s versions, the ridiculous amount of variants of one album when she releases something, the tacky relationships to make headlines, it feels icky tbh.

In my heart of hearts I believe Britney will return with a new album. Before you call me completely delusional… It’s not coming anytime soon.. but it’ll happen. Just over the last few days I’ve been thinking to myself, this woman really is so powerful. She doesn’t have to lift a finger, and a song nearing thirteen years old, an ultimately basic but fun album track in Britney terms… can hit the top of a chart in spite of a nasty ex-boyfriend. Name another artist in current times that has that big of an impact on the general public….. I suppose there’s Taylor Swift, but meh. What I’m really getting at is I believe this whole situation with JT etc will be the fuel to turn over a new leaf. Let’s be real, she’s not mentally well atm. And hasn’t been for a long while… and that’s ok. Nobody would be after what she has endured. This total retirement she’s in at present will come to and end. Have faith! She’s got nothing to lose at this point, and realistically she’s going to soon get bored of this current life she’s living. Underneath it all.. all she really wants is love. And we fans can give her that… it’s just not all the love she needs.
