  1. I will never complain about leaks but why use the one image from the Make Me sessions when a picture with Julia Michaels AND L̶o̶u̶ T̶a̶y̶l̶o̶r̶'s̶ g̶a̶y̶ d̶e̶m̶o̶n̶ Justin Tranter literally exists
  2. At this point, other than the USC ones, entries in all major databases mean absolutely nothing While there's always been the odd scam artist adding their songs on Britney's page, some time ago people actually found a way to add entries on BMI and decided to create fake entries which have since been removed (though I'm pretty sure I originally posted about some of them) to troll people like us that have tried to make trackers of unreleased songs in the past Not only that but if you actually look at all the confirmed recorded songs we know of, they either don't list Britney as a performer or are not registered at all
  3. I actually had no idea but I just looked into it The co-writer was Scott's engineer from 2013 to 2014, she mentions he was really into EDM at this point and was working with acts like Dimitri Vegas, so there's a chance it might have just been a joke placeholder title they came up with before settling with All I Want in Life Funnily enough, that engineer also put out a song titled Second Chances, though it's unrelated to the 2010 track which was written by Alja 'KaMillion' Jackson (3:06) Vocaroo | Online voice recorder VOCAROO.COM Vocaroo is a quick and easy way to share voice messages...
  4. Yes I did! In fact it was your post that made me want to take a deep dive in there again I noticed that while searching by titles results get capped past a certain amount, while if you use keywords it shows you most if not all of the results. I'm sure there's still thousands upon thousands more entries anyway, a lot of them are probably private or redacted There's also the fact that some of the entries like the Mad Love one are only credited to Spears, which is a far more common name than Britney or Brittany for that matter, I have time though so I'll definitely keep an eye out in case I find something interesting
  5. Since the man's literally a ped****e I'll make this one brief but basically in a copyright listing made up by 17 discs worth of Kelly's music, there's a track titled "CR 12-30-09 (Gorgeous) (042910) with no Britney" Since literally every other track features some kind of vocal and this one says "mix with no vocal" instead of just demo or pitch, it's safe to assume she actually recorded this one most likely under false pretenses (Not that she had any control about her career at this point anyway) It's also worth pointing out that while it just says Britney, so technically it could literally be any singer or writer like Britney Bereal, Jive's urban division kept trying to make another collaboration happen as in 2007 he told the Guardian he had been asked to write for her and in 2011, two years after this song was made, he literally made a TTWE duet remix with Jive's blessing
  6. It has been said to death but that Wikia fandom page can be edited by anyone just like Wikipedia unreleased songs page and it should never be referred to as a credible source of information Vocaroo | Online voice recorder VOCAROO.COM Vocaroo is a quick and easy way to share voice messages over the interwebs. EDIT: I forgot to mention this as it delves into even nerdier territory☝🤓 But in case anyone needs even more proof, Wade also previously used the same Welcome to Me intro sample on a track he had made for his MTV show the previous year (Minute 1:03) It's in fact an In the Zone track. I actually thought @Isla would remember since I'm pretty sure they were the one who first pointed out years ago but Carole's website was archived back in the day and one of the updates mentioned she was working with Britney and Wade on his 21st birthday which would have been in 2003 The only reason why there were reports of Carole working with her in 2007 - as well as Michelle Bell and RedOne in 2005 - was because that's when their respective publishers convalidated their songwriting credits on public databases such as the US Copyright Office and ASCAP and the fansites at the time took notice and made posts about it which resulted in outlets such as E! covering it This can also be proven by the fact Carly Simon released another Wade and Carole song on her 2007 album which was most certainly either written or recorded around 2002/2003 as well as it sounds really outdated compared to all the other songs
  7. I was gonna tell you to just look on Xray but for some reason they only have the spread uploaded without the interview GQ - November - Your #1 Source For Britney Spears Pictures | Welcome to XRAY XRAY.BRITSPEARS.NET Some kind eBay seller uploaded a picture of the corner of the page where you can read some of it though and here's an old forum post featuring some but still not all of the questions, sorry I couldn't help you s-l960-jpeg hosted at ImgBB IBB.CO Image s-l960-jpeg hosted in ImgBB GQ Magazine: November 2003 | Britney Boards SPEARS.PROBOARDS.COM There's no two ways about it – Britney is a libidinous deity. This week we bring you instalments...
  8. I've been meaning to make this thread for a long time now and while I don't expect anyone here to have any real insight, I'm sure at least someone will find this interesting Basically, I was going through old magazine scans one day and I found this interview where she mentions Girls and Boys being the song she's most excited about on In the Zone which at this point was at least a month ahead of its release I thought it was interesting she mentioned a track that was only ever released as a B-side in Europe so I decided to search all the times the song had been mentioned around the time of the album's release date and I found two different reviews which mention Girls and Boys being part of the album Perhaps more interesting of all, is this NYT piece written during the filming of the ABC special which reveal which other songs did and didn't make the cut amongst other things Taking all that into account, as well as this Billboard article published in September which mentions her co-writing 7 instead of the final 8 track on the album, the working tracklist most likely included the following songs Boom Boom Brave New Girl Breathe on Me Early Mornin' Everytime Girls and Boys Me Against the Music Outrageous Shadow Touch of My Hand Considering how she fought for Toxic to be released as a single and has since referred to The Hook Up as one of her favourite songs, it's entirely possible Showdown wasn't originally part of the tracklist and was only added once Girls and Boys was cut While this is all very nice, something about this whole story doesn't really make sense. You see, the way albums were released back then, the tracklist had to be decided on months ahead of the album's release date so the album could be mastered, pressed and shipped to every country to meet its release window, (There were rumours around this time Jennifer Lopez angered her label when she decided to change the name off one of the songs on her album once it had already been sent to be pressed) so the fact that the album had a totally different tracklist less than a month before it was released doesn't add up To add further confusion, Linda Perry actually knew ahead of the time the song wasn't going to make to the cut. so what's going on here exactly? Honestly I have no idea The way I see it, Jive gave the press either an outdated tracklist or a promo disc featuring said tracklist and forgot to tell them it had been changed
  9. It was part of a fake tracklist made up by former fansite WorldOfBritney, some magazines like Us Weekly even reported on it back then which I assume is why some people still think it's legit Needless to say that not only was the album far from finished at this point but also it contains multiple inacurracies such as listing Pharrell, Timbaland and Orbit as producers despite her not working with them for the album and crediting You Thought Wrong and It's Funny Now which were pitches (most likely) produced by Darkchild which were never recorded to Orbit as well image hosted at ImgBB IBB.CO Image image hosted in ImgBB It also features a fake Fred Durst song title instead of the two confirmed songs they worked on 'So Alive' and 'When It Rains' vlcsnap-2023-08-29-18h13m58s439 hosted at ImgBB IBB.CO Image vlcsnap-2023-08-29-18h13m58s439 hosted in ImgBB
  10. Over to You Now was one of the first songs recorded for ITZ and was in fact the first song she did with Sigsworth. While I can't longer found it, I can personally vouch that I once found an article on the swedish newspaper Aftonbladet where Robyn mentioned talking on the phone with Britney about her having one of her songs around the time she recorded Everytime. Imogen Heap also talks about it here I wasn't there when it happened but the few reports I was able to find that mentioned britfan only credited them with the Circus leaks. Do you have any source for the other leaks? If so I would really like to see it as it's a great part of this forum's history Perhaps I should have clarified what I meant by heavily processed, while it's easy to compare it to some of the more busy ITZ tracks like Touch of My Hand, it's important to remember this is only a rough draft and as such was never mastered. This is easily proven by how tiny the original leak sounds and the fact that the demo singer's vocals are literally blended with Britney's very much akin to BJ Even though Britney always relied on background vocalist, especially on her first two albums, it wasn't until the c-ship and the Circus album that they started doing all the heavy lifting I always use the same example but Unusual You is a prime example of this where they pasted a melodyne'd "warm up", as Orbit put it after the Alien fiasco, right on top of Kasia Livingston's reference. The same can be applied to Strangest Love
  11. This a tricky subject as more often than not a certain section of this fanbase end up harassing people in the industry in demands for answers Since Guy has both confirmed and then denied his involvement with the song, the only thing we know for certain is as with all the other demos leaked by britfan505 it was recorded during the Circus sessions I do find it funny that some people still insist this is a 2002 track, such a weird hill to die on, especially considering how heavily produced Britney's few vocals on this song are compared to the roughness of literally every single other ITZ demo
  12. I'll just leave this here That being said, they're such Christian fanatics I doubt they would even entertain the idea of some made up sci-fi religion
  13. It took a bunch of editing but I can safely confirm that this is not only the same track user stoked2toke originally posted on that clip but also that this is roughly the same pitch the original master recording had and that their version was the one that was pitched up To put it simply, tape is not digital, both speed and tone can hugely differ depending on not only what player you use to play back a tape but also the condition of both said player and the tape itself In stoked's case their equipment pitched up the tracks as corroborated by their rip of Love the Hurt Away which was slightly pitched up compared to the master file producers Full Force first posted on their site With that in my mind, I added and then subtracted the exact semitones from said rip to this one and the 'original' pitch was actually at least a semitone lower than what we have now and since that didn't sound right, I'm pretty sure what we have now is the real deal There's also a lot more that goes into preserving analog recordings like wow and flutter but needless to say the Clear Tech player used to rip the tape, while not ideal, it's still better than what stoked used for his original rip
  14. This is what I was trying to say with my original post, clearly the ProTools have been around for years and you guys even had a different fan mix made with those on your site Still, I don't think anyone actually has the missing parts from the first draft of the song in stem form, Nick literally said he had to filter Penelope's vocals from Bloodshy's mix on the description of his video
