I had dreamt of this memoir during the years and it’s finally here! I just read it and it was everything and more. The chapters from Justin up until the beginning of the conservatorship were difficult to read as a fan because she essentially confirmed how we thought she felt all this time. The way she recounted the institutionalisation after the Domination announcement and how her family treated her infuriated me - not that we didn’t suspect that they were garbage but Britney confirmed that and while I was shocked during her testimony, now I was mad. I teared up at the moment the nurse showed the FreeBritney movement to her and how it felt like a life line. Overall, an incredible read and a true gem for Britney, for the world, and for us, the fans. I’m so glad she did this in her own way, in her own words. It was needed. Grateful and filled with love towards her. What a hero.

Britney shares new video to Instagram: playing in the tub
Mr. Cavill replied to Cqleb's topic in Britney Community
Sorry but no. The thing that I hate the most out of this is that she’s lowkey proving them leeches right. She deserves freedom and autonomy, 100%, but at the same time some very questionable stuff and behaviour keep occurring that pushes the average person to think that she has too much freedom which is absolutely terrible. Watch people start turning to her father and exonerating him and the whole team. I sincerely hope not but she has to start taking care of herself or get the right support for whatever she’s going through. Otherwise, those that love her may attempt a similar intervention as in 2008 and there were rumours about this earlier this year. Forced therapy doesn’t work, I’m afraid, but it’s also incredibly saddening to watch a person sabotaging themselves, unwilling to receive support, being lonely and angry, who tells you to leave them alone when you can see that they’re hurting. She has her valid reasons of course but it’s all becoming an impossible situation. Them posts need to stop for a few months.- 353 replies

POLL: How many songs from Beyoncé's 2023 tour do you know?
Mr. Cavill replied to Wendy Williams's topic in Music Discussions
All songs. The tour is amazing but it is for her fans, not for the GP. It’s her gratitude and I’m also not sure if she’s in it for expanding her fanbase at this point through channeling popularity ala I am… Sasha Fierce/Bday. She’s focused on building her legacy and quite frankly the results so far are beyond spectacular. On my date in Warsaw I had an absolute blast but the whole section around us was pretty much dead and people expected Single Ladies/Halo. That being said, it didn't hinder us from having our best time and overall the stadium crowd did amazingly well for a European date. I should’ve spent a little more for Club Renaissance where the true party was. still not over the fact that ppl were struggling to clap in rhythm to Cuff It when Beyoncé and her dancers were counting and showing us how to do it- 53 replies

Britney calls out people who says HI to her
Mr. Cavill replied to Jup1ter's topic in Britney Community
I've really detached from Britney within the past year following her attitude and behaviour she exhibits through her posts. She's steadily ruining her legacy, and ever since the conservatorship ended, there's no one to blame besides her. The damn fricking Instagram posts. And to be fair, I don't know if she's 100% like that (rude/angry and bl**t) at all times because it seems like she approaches social media as a coping mechanism for boredom, sadness, and anger. Each to their own, of course, but that does come with consequences and the self-sabotage is real here. It makes me feel really sad because what's done is done. It's what you do afterwards and how you handle things that you're accountable for. I'm not saying she should forget, but it also seems like she has no interest in getting better. At this point, I can only hope for things to improve because there's compelling evidence for the opposite, and sadly, that's her attitude and UNFORTUNATELY her Instagram. It just paints a picture of who she is. -

Britney poses topless on a bed in new Instagram video
Mr. Cavill replied to Cqleb's topic in Britney Community
Lmao for a gazillionth time, nothing wrong with nudity. It’s not the what but the how that people have an issue with. It’s simply done in a tasteless manner and there’s little to no effort on her side to look decently ****. Her body is fine. It’s how she does it that makes it cheap and not “**** and feminist”. Britney wasn’t like that before the cship simply because there was no social media like we have it today. The nudity came through performances, paparazzi shots, photoshoots, and music videos. And in any way, she was at a party or a social outing. The videos/pics she now posts are straight from her bedroom/house. -
Britney doesn't have to rely on cship team's smear campaign. Highest voted comments, 350+likes: "why did they remove her conservatorship? How embarrassing, this makes me sad ,where is her husband or her friends to tell her she looks ridiculous..."

Britney dances on a pole in a bikini (video)
Mr. Cavill replied to CHAOTIC STYLE.'s topic in Britney Community
I’m a little conflicted. On the one hand, I can see the spark, energy, the idea of pole dancing, the song, she looks ****, etc. On the other, given that there’s no routine (which is fine) but improvisation which she’s not really good at as we know, the outfit, the edit, makes it a bit icky, for me at least. yay for the idea, nay for the execution. It looks cheap, tasteless and tacky. But then again she’s been doing that for the past 2 years on insta. Oh well… hope she’s happy and feels liberated in her own terms. -

True and what’s sad about the whole situation is that artists with her musical career, hits and image, typically start caring about their own legacy and chose their artistic directions more carefully, plan things ahead and just generally come up with a plan with their management - be it through founding their own label, securing their masters, new partnerships, marketing campaigns, etc etc. However, this isn’t Brit’s situation given the conservatorship and the years they took from her personally and artistically. She simply has her own timeline and is fed up with the music industry and business side of things so I guess going forward things will not operate as we would expect them to. And it sucks, because while we her fans support her personally, artistically speaking we care about the legacy she leaves, but she doesn’t and that’s okay; but it is frustrating as a fan to see where her artistry is headed due to the conservatorship leeches and the turmoil they caused her.

Better song - Mind Your Business or Pretty Girls?

She'll reactivate it again just as she's done before many many times. As for the people saying she did that because of the hate train from fans towards the song... Look, the song is an earworm, sure, but it is her worst release as of yet. Even if we put Will, BJ reject, Myah, and Anthony to the side. No matter who would've released this, it remains objectively bad, quality-wise. I cannot give her the pass artistically for some questionable decisions she makes that end up smearing her catalogue. Sure, she's doing it on her own terms but that doesn't mean she's immune to criticism ABOUT THE SONG (not her personal life). Hold me closer did not get the same reaction or reviews from fans and the public. People still criticised the vocals being behind the track but it left people with positive opinions. And that's the frustrating part, she can do it all if she wants to. If she doesn't, that's still fine. Ultimately, people will have their opinions, fans or non-fans. P.S. This has nothing to do with being grateful that she still releases music lol. Of course, the anticipation was there (despite the facts about who's behind the production), but again, the quality is just not it. I remain a fan so looking forward to future releases or whatever she chooses to do.
