Honestly I love Boys (Co-Ed Remix) so much now. It used to be my least favourite from that era but I love the production now. No it’s not Slave but I can see why Britney loves it so much.

And in the end, all she really wanted was to feel loved.

It’s intended to be a bit more laid back and have an R&B/hip hop vibe but completely understand where you’re coming from. I’m quite a minimalist and sometimes that comes across when I’m mixing.
